Xu Zhuya felt that someone had watched her and left but she ignored it and hung the phone and started to work. She was really glad she got her phone back. It is said that some people can't stay without their phones so the same happened here with Xu Zhuya. She looked around her surroundings and admired the fact that her room was having transparent windows to give a skeptical view of the outside.
The busy streets, the unknown peoples walking, honking vehicles and huge buildings. One Life hospital was situated in the middle so the transparent windows gave her the perfect view of the city. She started liking Country Z.
Just as she was wondering in her thoughts a knock appeared on her door.

Xu Zhuya walked towards the door and opened it. Wu Yanchen was standing infornt of her with his hair completely disheveled. Sweat beads were forming on his forehead. It seems that he had run and come. Wu Yanchen took few breaths and spoke "Its an... an.. eme...emergency. Hurry..... let's go."
Xu Zhuya widened her eyes. Thankfully she was having her stethoscope around her neck and also her phone in her hand. She hurriedly closed the room and followed him. They both started to run.
Xu Zhuya was following Wu Yanchen and when Wu Yanchen halted she too halted. He paused at Room 2E. He kept his hand on the door handle and asked Xu Zhuya to come beside him. She stood beside him and he opened the door.
Xu Zhuya was panicking all the way. She was wondering who the patient would be. How is his condition? How will he be now?? All different weird questions were running through her mind.
Wu Yanchen handed her the reports and stepped inside the room. Xu Zhuya opened the reports and started to read it. Suddenly her brain started to wonder. 'Why is he giving me this ?? It can't be done by me....' Her thoughts were broken when she heard Wu Yanchen speak "This is gonna be your patient for today. Study the reports and do it well. The patient is suffering from Measles. I want you to give him Vaccines whenever required okay ??"
Xu Zhuya shook her head and said "No I can't do this. I have been treating those children who only have fever and cough or so. But this is measles and I haven't experienced any case of measles up till now. So I can't do it."
Wu Yanchen was angry on hearing her answer "Then what huh ?? You only said you are experienced and you don't even know this small thing huh?? You thought a Paeditrician does this much only huh?? They also have many works not only looking for childrens fever or so... Just treat him."
Xu Zhuya blinked her eyes at his accusation. She wanted to say but no words came out of her mouth. She turned towards the boy lying over there on the patient bed. He was merely 7 years old. During her anatomy class she had learned about injecting vaccines and everything. It was a true thing that she never experienced Measles cases before, that's why things were not much in her practice.
With shaky hands and sweaty forehead she injected the vaccine. She tried her best not to flinch. If she flinches something would happen to that little boy. Though Measles wasn't that serious it was kind of serious also if not treated at the right time.
Her first injection was successful. A small smile appeared on her lips and she said to that little guy who was asleep "Sleep well and wake up soon little boy. You will go back to your parents soon." She kissed that boy's forehead and turned around and took few tissues lying on the table. She cleaned her forehead. Now she gained a little confidence.
Two doses had to be given for 2 times leaving a gap of 28 days. After almost 2 months the boy was in a good condition and ready to be discharged. Xu Zhuya met the boy and smiled at him "Hey there little boy. How are you feeling now??" The boy hugged her and said "I'm fine. How are you.." He stopped for a while and searched for Xu Zhuya's name tag. He read the tag and said "How are you Dr. Xu??"
Xu Zhuya was pleased at his attitude and said "aww... I'm fine little buddy. Don't call me Doctor. Call me Aunty Xu. That's fine." At this time Wu Yanchen entered the room. On the opening of the door both simultaneously turned their heads to look at who it was. Wu Yanchen entered and spoke "Dr. Xu. There's someone waiting for you outside your room." Xu Zhuya nodded and said "Okay then little guy. Let's meet some other time okay??"
The boy had a slight frown on his face. He pouted his face and his chubby cheeks puffed a little. Xu Zhuya rubbed his head and said "Don't worry. I'll be in contact with you." She kissed his forehead and bid him goodbye. The boy cleared his frown and bid her goodbye too.
Xu Zhuya reached her room. She was soo happy to see Su Wan and Song Jung standing beside her door. She hurriedly went and gave them a big hug.
The hugged her back. These 2 months were very stiffening for Xu Zhuya. She need her rest. She had contacted them both for a meet up but they were busy enough and even same Xu Zhuya was busy too. Her heck of a doctor was not leaving her. He was giving her different different trainings. She was tired of it. She barely got any rest too.
She was glad that Su Wan and Song Jung came to see her. She really needed a rest and this time she will take some rest and moreover her bump was rising. She needs to take a maternal leave also. She was soo happy for all this.
But who knew, that her happiness wasn't going to last long.
