A week has passed since Xu Zhuya met Li Wei and asked him about her child. She was getting better from the dilemma. Things were going normal like how they used to be. Xu Zhuya and Wu Yanchen had work at different times, Xu Zhuya would go in the morning and come back in the evening and Wu Yanchen would go at evening and come back at dawn. And they would look after Wu Muqing after coming back from work.
That day, they both had taken a leave, so that they could spend some time with their child. The hospital was running busy, so they didn't get a chance to spend time with their child and that day when they took leave thinking they would spend some time together, they faced such an incident.

As usual, Xu Zhuya was cooking breakfast in the morning, when Wu Yanchen came and hugged her from behind. "Oh my!!! You just scared me..." Xu Zhuya spoke in utter disbelief. Wu Yanchen rested his chin on her shoulder. He inhaled the aroma and spoke "mmm, it smells delicious."
Xu Zhuya felt happy on hearing his comment and spoke with a smile "Thank you... I was trying to prepare it from quite a long time." She gave a one last stir and closed the lid and kept it for a whistle.
When Wu Yanchen heard her reply, he started laughing. "What's wrong?? Why are you laughing??" Xu Zhuya asked him with a confused look.
Wu Yanchen waved his hands by saying "Nothing, nothing !! I just got reminded of something funny. That's all." With that he took a glass and filled it with lukewarm water. He added little salt to it and gargled with it. This was his daily routine for keeping his throat clean and healthy.
To be precise, Wu Yanchen was laughing because even after these many years also, he found his wife to be innocent. He had directed that sentence to her but, she thought he was talking about the food. Well, whatever it was, the food smelled really delicious.
