1.12 I Met Magician Girl But She Is About To Die Though
The vibration function of my iPhone told me it’s time to wake up. Then again, it’s still three o’clock in the morning so the outside is still dark. I gently remove Lia’s arm that was entangled on my arm. I guess she was really exhausted. She didn’t show any sign to wake up even after I removed my arm.
I gently got off the bed without making any noise. I silently came out from the western-style room, closed the door, and take a deep breath.

The dungeon is indeed a dangerous place but I couldn’t resist a temptation of leveling up and a charm called dungeon exploration.
Helmet with headlight, pickaxe, potato chips, salad with Pietro dressing iniside a tupperware, and cola. There are also other foods that were easy to carry like Chi-kama, convenience stores rice balls, cream puffs, etc. I put them all into a backpack. I also decide to bring gym clothes and the grip strength meter I won’t bring the bloomer because I don’t want to wear it as expected.

Actually I’m not worried about goblins anymore. I had asked Lia about monster at after-dinner chat yesterday. Basically, it seems that no monster would suddenly emerge from a wall or from nothingness inside the dungeon. Though monster with stealth skill is exception
I confirmed once again there are no monster at the other side of the entrance door. About a slime that attacked me before, it seem Lia didn’t realized there was a slime near her because it’s still small at that time and didn't attack.
Slime cub was about the size of an eraser and grow bigger over time and would attack humans. It seems the slime was halfway between child and adult when it hide under Lia’s shield. So it would be a simple reason that the little slime had turn to an adult slime after some time passed because slime is eat anything and grow quickly.

According to Lia's story they could split and multiply so it's possible that the slime I keep will increase in number later. However, no matter how much I was searched, there was no slime around.

When Lia found this room, she closed the door in order to reduce the probability of being attacked by monster even a little.
This kind of closed room is occasionally secured as a safe area inside a dungeon for adventurer to make camp. But most of it has traps planted, multiplied slimes, and there was also risk of food and water shortage if stayed too long inside.
Lia was collapsed because of the paralysis poison taking effects after she closed the door. But fortunately this closed room was connected to my apartmen and there was only one little slime inside this room.

The magician girl was staring at the direction of iron door which has been opened one knee height. It seems her condition is no good. Or rather, it’s terrible. A red liquid is flowing from the edge of her mouth. It’s blood.
[Close the door quickly!! A great centiped is coming!!]
Great centipede? I have realized at last. There is no doubt! She was talking about a monster! I quickly got up and pressed the button.
The iron door is going down, will it make in time? It closing down little by little. Thinking about our desperate situation, I getting iritated with the slowness of its movement. Still, the gap is only one knee height. While I thought that we were gonna be fine, it showed its nose.
It was flat, but its body is as thick as telephone pole. Even though it's only one meter in length that passed through the iron door, its body is still longer behind the door.
I thought that I could never win against such a thing. The iron door caught the body of the great centipede. It sandwiched between the door and stone floor but it still wriggling in good condition. The power of the iron door that trying to close seems to be strong, the centipede is struggling in agony.
