Chapter 53 - Su Ran now thought of Su Han as her only family (3)

As Su Ran had never attended any of the parent-teacher conferences in the past – Su Han even paid his own tuition – now that Su Ran had surfaced, Teacher Wang had already said in WeChat ahead of time that she wanted to take this opportunity to sit down and talk with Su Ran.

As such, as soon as the parent-teacher conference was over, Su Ran walked up to Teacher Wang before she even said anything.

“You are Su Han’s parent?” Teacher Wang paused a little when she saw Su Ran. Apparently, even the class teacher was surprised by how young she looked.

“Yes, I am Su Han’s mother. Has Su Han been behaving himself at school?”

“Su Han is not a troublemaker at school. You’ve seen his grades. He’s always gotten good grades.”

She paused then, suddenly switching gear. “The problem isn’t Su Han’s grades; the problem was that he wasn’t very enthusiastic about getting along with his fellow classmates.”

Teacher Wang has been as subtle as she could be. Anyone who’d end up becoming a villain probably wouldn’t have a pretty healthy personality.

“Teacher Wang, I think I am partially responsible for that. As you know, Su Han is from a single-parent family and I haven’t been paying him too much attention in the past years, which caused him to become that very withdrawn child that he is today. But, rest be assured, even though Su Han is quiet and a bit distant, but he’s a good kid inside,” said Su Ran.

At least he was a child with a normal sense of rights and wrongs before he had become a villain. From her observation in the past few days, Su Han has yet to become a villain.

“Of course, just like Teacher Wang has pointed out, I will pay more attention in the future and stress more on how Su Han gets along with the others. I’d also like to ask Teacher Wang to help us on this front as well,” said Su Ran seriously.

She had no idea what eventually caused her son to become a villain, but Su Ran felt that the school environment was very important to Su Han’s mental development.

“Don’t worry, Su Han's mother.”

“That being said.” Teacher Wang paused before she continued. “If you don’t mind me asking, will you  be leaving again soon? For a child Su Han’s age, it is important for them that their parents are around.”

“No, I will not be leaving again. I plan to stay with Su Han,” said Su Han and her look was pure.

When she had first transmigrated over, Su Ran had only thought of Su Han as a villain with a sad past. She only brought him home because she felt bad about what the original owner had done.

But, after spending a few days with him, Su Ran now thought of Su Han as her only family.

She would not abandon Su Han like the original owner did nor would she just stand by and watch him become a villain.

On the other end.

Seeing that parents had started to leave school, Su Han, too, picked up his backpack and walked out of the library.

“Ah, Han-ge, why didn’t you wake me up if you are leaving?” Liu YangYang ran up behind him and quickly saw a few pairs of parents and students walking in their direction.

“Shoot. Why is that we keep running into the class lead no matter where we go? But then again, if the class lead is leaving, that means our class’s parent-teacher conference is over,” said Liu YangYang.

As she walked closer, the class lead spotted Su Han and Liu YangYang as well.

“Ah, so the two of you didn’t leave the campus, huh? Eh, Su Han, I want to apologize for my earlier misunderstanding.” Seeing Su Han and remembering Su Han's mother that she had just met a while ago, the class leader reflexively apologized to Su Han.

“It’s fine,” said Su Han casually. He still had the cool look that he always had and only those who were close to him normally could tell that he wasn’t in a very good mood right now. Or, to be more precise, he hadn’t been in a very good mood this entire day.

“Hey, wait.” Seeing that Su Han was heading toward the front entrance of the school, the class lead stopped him. “Su Han, aren’t you going to wait for your mother to go home with her?”

Su Han, “?!”
