Marivella wondered why Carlene suddenly cried, but her heart strangely feel something she cannot explain what it is, and so, she hugged Carlene.
Tightening her embrace around Madison, she doesn't understand… but every time she holds her, warmth fills into the deepest part of her chest.
"Have you missing someone?" she asked her, guessing the possible reason.
Madison nodded and hugged her back. "I did. I am missing my Mama," she reasons which it was true.
'Yes. I will miss you when I can no longer travel to this time. I will miss your company, Mama… but may I cannot see you as I am growing up, but I know you will be a cool and amazing mother.'
"Thank you," Madison let go of Marivella. "We have to move now. Soon, they will check the room, and they will find out we have escape in the attic," she told Marivella.
"Okay, let's go!"
Carefully, Madison and Marivella make gradual steps on the roof. Marivella looks down below the ground and measures how high they are. She closed her eyes.
"Don't look down," Madison reminded her.
Marivella nodded. Although she is nervous, but a smile playing on her lips. Madison remembered the first time they arrived in this era. Marivella sneaks out through a window from the hospital dormitory to meets Charles in the restaurant, but then; she and Carlisle spent a night together.
Jeez… Madison sighed. She could feel her cheeks flushing. Though she just read it from the book, but she learned of how her parents made her; in a couple of years from now on... and that was in Newfound Land or know in the future as Canada.
Ugh. Why now, this what running inside her head? She felt embarrassed. Gladly Quinn cannot read the book, but she wondered if he would feel embarrassed to realize that their daughter have known this.
They resume trailing the ledge of the roof slowly. Carlene brought the curtain with her might they need it. Now she used it as a rope to move down below to the room below them where it has a balcony they could go down easily.
Madison peeps at the window and found the room is empty. She gestured at Marivella that it was safe to come down now. And then they heard gunshots and notice a commotion below.
There are also noises from the attic they came from. It looks like; they found out already that their prisoners had escaped. Two guards came out and began searching for them. Hastily, they stepped inside the room and Madison locked the door, then they hid in the closet. Hearing footsteps and voices outside, one checking out the room.
Marivella covered her mouth and Madison prepared to fight. There is actually a knife tied on her left leg, she kept it all along, but she never uses it in Marivella's presence. But at this moment, her finger is touching the cold handle of the blade, ready to pick up and stab anyone who will open this closet.
Madison holding her breath. There is a commotion outside. Did someone come to save them? She is certain Quinn would come, but she's worried about Levi. He is not good at fighting yet. Besides, the numbers of this guard still many for Quinn and Levi to defeat.
Marivella jolted upon hearing several gunshots somewhere in this villa. She wondered who they fought to… and then more footsteps running outside this room. Finally, the noises subsided, but the door of this room opens and the footsteps walking around then coming closer in the closet.
Madison tightly holds the handle of the knife. When the closet door slowly opens, Madison raises her hand with the knife. Seeing this, Marivella widened her eyes staring at Madison… but she did not make any noises or breath. Preparing to stab whoever that person who opens it, but he catches her pulse.
"Pa—" she almost burst out Papa. But in a moment, she's confused if it is Quinn or Carlisle. If he did not gesture a sign language, she would not confirm if it is Quinn. She rushes to him once she made sure it was her papa from the future.
"Brother!" Madison quickly hugged Quinn. "I began worrying that you will save me, and you will put your life in danger."
Quinn groans like a slight laugh, patting Madison's back. He glanced at Marivella; she is staring at him confusedly. He could read her reaction, she somewhat felt a similarity between him and Carlisle, which that cannot argue; because his laugh sounds like Carlisle.

"Carlisle? What you—" she's very surprised. She did not expect for him to come, but deep down inside her heart, she wished to see him.
Carlisle rushes toward her and hugs her tight. "I was too worried. I am glad you are safe."
Madison glances at Quinn who watched quietly at the couple. She wonders if what Quinn feeling seeing his past self and the woman he longs to see and want to hold as well. Madison squeezes Quinn's hand, her gesture to comfort him. Quinn looked at her and nodded, squeezing her hand in returned, telling he is fine.
"Carlene!" Two man in disguise showing up in the door.
Charles and Levi called out her name at once. Madison dropped her mouth opened. Wow. She can't tell who is Levi and who is Charles. However, one is walking fast, rushing to her side. "Are you all right?"
She nodded. "Hum... am fine, nothing to worry."
"I'm glad. We as your brothers are too worried about you." This is Levi, she thought and giggles in silence. He emphasizes the word brother to not look suspicious in front of the people in the past: Charles, Carlisle and Marivella. Levi is hugging her tight almost kissing her.
"Ahem! I am glad you are safe, Mademoiselle," Charles bowed courteously. This time, Levi's mouth who dropped open. He even felt more embarrassed seeing himself like this.
"Thank you, monsieur," Madison politely returned the gesture. She partly bends her knees and bows slightly.
"Please bear the super-polite-me version. I look like a dope," Levi whispered to Madison. She wanted to laugh out loud, but it will create suspicious to her behavior.
"But you look cute doing that," he added.

"Captain Williams!" Gene Isagawa rushes to the room. "We spotted people headed to this villa. It looks like, there are more soldiers are coming, Captain."
"Carlisle, what we're going to do now?"
Charles asked him, and every pair of eyes in that room waiting curiously of his decision. He glances at Marivella, she is peering worriedly at him. He has to lead them out safe from here.
