Cassie hangs up the call… Shun sighed. He didn't leave and stayed standing in front of the bedroom. The door opens.
He rushes inside and locked her into his arms, her face filled with tears.
"Hush now… am just here. I am always here…" He whispered.
Before Cassie hangs up the phone, she speaks to him.
"Everyone left me… how if, you will leave me too? How I can live after that? What am I going to do if I am alone again?"
He kissed her forehead. He badly wanted to tell her, that he never left her, but counts each day to be with her again.
He wanted her to know, that she who gives him the reason to live and all those years up until now, he continues living for her...
... that he bears all those pain because he wanted to see her once again.
He wished he could tell her how he fought against death because he wanted to stay by her side. He endures all the pain those needles causes him and bears every painful after-effect of those medicines that injected into his body just to hold onto that 15% chance to live.
He wanted her to know that all badly... that he was here all this time... waiting patiently for this day…
That after all those sufferings have gone, finally, he could live again with her.
He just wanted to be happy... and that is why he won't waste time anymore...
"I promise, I won't leave you. I would never ever do that."
He kisses her after uttering those words. He let go of her lips to catch some breath. He then reaches his pocket. Originally, this is the one what he wanted to give her.
Cassie staring at Shun's hand. She was stunned. She looks up at him and Shun put the ring on her finger, its design is paired to her necklace but it was more look like an engagement ring. Tears flooded her eyes.

And he won't allow the fate, the death, or even the destiny to separate her from him ever again. He wished he could tell her these all, for now, he will just keep it all on to himself.

"You want us to have a shower together?"

"Alright, let me prepare your bath then, I will just use the shower from my room…"
