As Iris began strolling around the streets going about her routinely walk to the shop, Iris was perplexed on what she is actually going to do now. Iris noticed that with her improved appearance she is getting many times more looks than usual, not that she truly cared about it to be honest. But, the eventual problem was how was she going to explain her new transformation towards her parents and classmates in school, she has become increasingly nervous at the thought of how to explain herself if she is confronted due to her new changes.

So, what excuse can she use? She defiantly couldn't say she has suddenly gotten this magical system which can constantly power herself up, if she attempted to do the only result would be a one stop destination to the loony bin. Or maybe even worse, such as the Government experimenting on her to find the "magical system". Both of these options are far from satisfactory.

As Iris kept foreboding this though, she completely didn't notice that she ended up walking completely the wrong way ending up on an unfamiliar street.

Great! Now I ended up getting myself lost in some shady neighborhood! Thought Iris with a troubled expression.

She began searching around hoping to find something at least familiar to find her way back home. After some fruitless searching, Iris was already annoyed that her phone is completely out of battery so she cannot use google maps or something to find her way back.

Realizing that hopelessly searching is a bad idea. Iris walked for a few minutes, finding an empty bench in a quiet area, Iris decided to sit down. With the peaceful and quiet surroundings, Iris began to gather her thoughts on the last few days.

This is real huh? Thinking of the chance in being able to potentially unlock "mana" in the future made Iris imagine being capable of levitating objects making Iris grin in excitement.

"How cool will that be?" She mumbled in a low tone to herself.

One second, now that she thought about it, she didn't even try using the system shop just yet. Iris attempted to click on the "System Shop" text, but the following text box emerged after her attempts.

[System shop is currently locked until 100 System Points is gained by the Host]

Great! Another thing locked! To be honest she really wasn't surprised as a result of all these constant messages on "You haven't completed enough quests" or "You haven't meet that requirement" on the other options of the system, so she knew the only option she has is finding more quests to do. But, as she attempted clicking the "Quest" option it stated that quests only pop up in certain circumstances, dumbfounding Iris on how to get a new quest for her to do.

Seeing that she finally had a small rest and gathered her thoughts, she decided to find her way home.

However, after as she was about to leave, she saw a troubled old women approaching her.

"Hello, have you seen a white and black cat around?" She asked with a desperate tone in her face.

"Umm. No ma'am" Responded Iris, looking at the old women with a sympathizing glance.

"I see..." She answered, with a downcast expression on her face.

Being honest, she could always offer he assistance to help her. But being honest, why would she, after all she is struggling to help herself with her own problem at the moment, never mind having the time to help another person.

She felt great pity for her, but even so she wouldn't waste her time going on a wild goose chase looking for cat, who knows it could have already ended up returning home after all of her efforts in looking for it?

"I'm really worried , please help me young lady?" She asked hopefully.

Oh no! This is awkward Iris felt, with a troubled expression on her face, but as she was just about to politely refuse, the system robotic voice sounded in her mind.

[Quest received!]

[Quest: Predator in the dark!]

[Description: Before of the shadows, there is a predator which lurks within. Save the cat from its clutches!]

[Reward: 7 Attribute Points| 150 System Points]

[Accept|Decline]

Wait, another quest?

Whilst pondering on this thought, Iris decided to take the risk and accept the quest. Although this quest seems dangerous, defiantly with that dark vibe going on about some sort of predator. However, she has no idea on how frequent these quests will pop up, and the next time one comes up could potentially be in months, and as Iris is an impatient person she cannot stand the idea of continuing her dull routine, waiting for a quest to show up.

Thus, Iris clicked "accept" on the text.

"Sure" She replied with a dazzling smile.

"Oh , thank you, thank you! I believe that with your help we should find him very quickly!" The old lady responded with a evident grateful tone in her voice.

"I believe that we will also, Ms?" She paused, waiting for her to answer.

"Smith. But, you can call me Rebecca!" The old women answered.

"Nice to meet you Rebecca, I am Iris. Could you please describe to me the description of the of your cat?" She grinned.

She will defiantly require its physical description if she is going to any hope in finding this cat, she can't just end up kidnapping the wrong cat now can she?

"Mmm, sure. The cat name is Whitey, and he is a fluffy black and white fur with charming green eyes. You couldn't miss him. If you are in his surroundings, all you need to do is call his name and he will come to you." Rebecca ended with a smile.

"Good. Let's split up, we will find him much quicker that way." She suggested.

She nodded in agreement, before they both decided in which routes they would leave to, she turned left walking down the particular route she chosen, whilst Iris went the other way.

While walking Iris tried to search around her surroundings, paying particular attention for anything strange or out of place, facing the description of the quest she knows wherever the cat it surely isn't normal. The whole "Predator" in the shadows thing kinda pointed that out straight away.

After two hours of unproductive searching, a frustrated Iris emerged, nothing absolutely nothing! I haven't even found a glance at the damn cat, and I've been looking for two hours! And from the obvious disappearance of Rebecca, she must have got lost as well.

She laid down on a patch of grass, her absurdly low physical stats showing it's affect. Damn, I sure wish I participated in more physical activities. If she had done, perhaps she wouldn't be so tired.

Iris soon heard a shout of her name. Opening her eyes, Iris saw it was Rebecca who was approaching her with an excited look in her face.

"Iris, I found him! But, I need your help as I cannot reach him!" Rebecca stated with a happy expression on her face.

"Ok, where is he? I'll go get him for you." Iris responded.

With anticipation that this quest is finally going to be over, Iris let herself be directed by Rebecca towards the location of Whitey.

10 minutes of walking, they emerged in front of a creepy looking building, obviously looking like time has not been good to it. Whitey was on top of the building it seems, Iris seeing the cat on top.

She went ahead of Rebecca, remembering that this is dangerous situation.

"I'll go get her for you ok?" Iris ordered Rebecca, she needed to climb to get on top of this small building, which should be accomplished easily. It is the "Predator in the shadows" she was truly wary of.

After managing to reach the top of the building alongside her finding the cat, the sound of the completion of a quest sounded within her mind.

[Quest: Predator in the dark! Completed!]

[Your actions have saved a precious cats life, and saved the owner from many tears due to the loss of her pet!]

[Reward| 7 Attribute points| 150 System Points!]

However, after receiving the quest reward. A dark figure emerged in front of her, realeasing an predatory aura.

"Mmm. What is this???" A sinister voiced sounded from. dark figure.

Oh damn, what the hell kind of trouble have I gotten myself into now? Thought Iris as the figure emerged from the shadow coming within her line of sight.
