Irvene opened her eyes and stretched out her arms. 'What a good sleep.' she thought. It's almost nighttime already. Her body slowly rose from the couch and made her way to the backyard. The eternal black lotus is on her hand and she sat on a wooden bench. Flowers in different kinds especially roses, surrounded her garden. Rare plants are scattered in the area and its value are equivalent to a few bars of gold.

A small pond can be seen in the right side of her backyard. Her body bent down and placed the eternal black lotus on the water. It glows elegantly with it's black color though, it's not merely for decoration. She'll use it soon to summon another living element. And this time, it's an earth-type one and hopes it will not give her headaches like Elis, her fire living element she recently called on her last hunt for today.

Irvene still needed another thing to summon a new living element so she decided to place it on a pond temporarily. 'It grows on water so it will be good enough to place it on a pond for the mean time.' she thought. After a while, she went inside of the house and walked through the kitchen. Her long hours of rest caused her to skipped a meal and felt her stomach grumbled.

She cooked her meal and also for Elis. His food contained few special herbs that would help improve his abilities. "Living monster fire, summon." she chanted. Irvene's spirit appeared in the speed of light.

His appearance is different when he's not in a fight. His hair is not on fire instead, it is in crimson color and wore a simple shirt and pants. He rushed towards the table and ate his food with joy. His body started to glow once he started eating. Fire started to surround his body. The food improves ones body thus he can't help it.

Her hands stopped in mid air and her eyes widen. "Control your fire." she said. The house might be burn down if he continues his actions.

"Wait, wait. I'm not yet done!" he said. He started eating in a fast pace while she started to lose her patience. Irvene's fingers are ready to snap when Elis noticed it.

"O-ok." he said. He knew his master would splash water on him if he ignore her precautions. He stopped eating and controlled his fire. It disappears slowly and then his attention came back on eating. He usually don't eat a lot but her dishes improved his body and started to crave for it as time goes by.

They both finished their meal. After that, she took care of her plants while Elis wandered off in her house.

The next day, Irvene went outdoors bringing along quiet a lot of things. 'I will definitely own an infinite storage in the future!' she thought. She walked towards the street carrying an old backpack. Once she reached the forest, a group of monsters appeared. Those monsters are uncommon to appear at this part of the forest and are mostly in the middle areas. She started to think that there is something wrong in the forest. Strong monsters started appearing at the entrance of the forest or she's just unlucky everytime she goes into that place.

Before they surround her, Irvene ran at her fastest speed. This monsters looked like wolves with red glowing eyes and black fur. They're highly aggresive so a quick and wise decision is needed. "Binding spell!" she shouted while holding her silver staff. It's golden marks glowed and chains are formed which began to move as if it has a life of its own.

The monsters howled in pain. The golden chains circled their limbs and stomach thus blood came out of their bodies. She stopped running and breathed hardly. Irvene left the monsters and started walking. She needed to find a spring located in this forest that's full of monsters.

Only a few number of people could get to see this spring. It creates an illusion to protect itself from greedy people who would take it for granted.

Irvene walked for an hour and her efforts are not wasted. She could see the spring from afar and ran through the spring and felt the cold, fresh water from her hands. She placed her backpack to the ground and got her small jar. 'Finally, a water from the spring of truth.' she thought.

Irvene rested for a while before she go back home. Her feet ached thus she needed a break. She stared at the spring when a creature suddenly appeared. Irvene prepared herself to attack but when she saw the creature, she stopped her hands and started to admire it's appearance. It looks like a ball. A small round creature walk towards the spring and a small drop of water started to float and it started to drink. However, the small creature didn't notice he's about to fall. She walks near the small creature but he got scared and fell into the water.

It nearly got drowned but she picked it up from the water and placed it onto the ground. She got a towel from her bag and dried it's white fur. It has also small wings at its back. Irvene gets another jar which contains a drink that could improve ones condition.

The small creature got better and it's not wet anymore. It's wings seemed to grow a little. She stared at the adorable creature. 'It's so cute.' she thought. It walked near her and sat on her lap. It's not scared of her unlike before it get drowned. "Hi, little one." she said.

After a while she decided to go back home and summon an earth-type living element. Her plan was to bid goodbye to the fluffy creature but he followed her. She turned to him and she can't just live a cute creature and hurt it's feeling. "You want to go with me?" she asked.

It jumped happily and flew towards her. She noticed it's wings grew bigger so he can use it to fly. She formed a contract to this creature and walk.

Until she heard a loud howl. 'It must be from a huge monster!' she thought. Irvene summoned Elis.

"I think there's a huge monster approaching and I need your help." she said.

"Hmm, so can I burn it with all my might?" he said. He wanted to try out his powers after improving his body from eating the food she made.

"Ok, do whatever you want." she said. She knew how he's desperate to use his powers. Suddenly, her eyes widen when she saw a gigantic monster. "Little one, stay beside me alright? We'll get rid of this troublesome monster before we go home." she said.

"Master, it's quite a huge one!" he said. His fire started to get bigger to be able to attack that monster.

"Be prepared. Find out it's weak points and stay at a long distance." she said.

'Why am I encountering strong monsters every time I go into this forest!' she said miserably.
