Lights from surrounding shops and bars were flickering in the area, many dark spots and dimly corners occupied by couples, embracing each other tightly, making a weird sound and seductive laughter. Naruto walked slowly, by passing each of the stores while his eyes wandered in the area.
Just as he walked near a bar looked like place, he approached by a girl that stood near the doorstep toward the bar. She's pretty and alluring, with a black dress clung tightly to her body and decent makeup, she resembled a demoness that readied to suck your life dry, "hey there, care about drinking a few cup with me handsome?".
Her Voice was so pleasant and full of flirtatious sound.
Most men would become soft to the bone when hearing her voice but Naruto, sadly, wasn't most of the men, he knew these kind of people as when he travelled around the world before, his mentor tended to visit the red light district with a reason of searched inspiring idea for his book. Naruto usually got annoy by this because that sucky mentor of him would steal Naruto saving money to pay for all of them. The worst of it all, that he sometime had to fetch his mentor who passed out because of the booze. The sudden tripped in the memory with his late mentor, Naruto who usually bright and cheerful somehow felt sad and gloomy.
The girl who invited Naruto to a drink before, saw that he's not answering instead had a sad look on his face, she thought that this hunk handsome man maybe just broke up with his lover, feeling pity, she came over toward Naruto
"Are you ok? Don't worry, there are still a lot of fish in the sea, even if you fail to keep one, you bound to get another one, so cheer up!"
The girl said while her hand turned into a fist and raised it up as if cheering someone on the football. Stunned at her effort to encourage him, Naruto then let out a chuckle. For this kind of girl or woman, Naruto actually never hold disgust toward them, because they are forcing themselves to do this so they could survive the society and lived for tomorrow, this kind of woman didn't have many luxury to choose their fate.
"I'm fine, thank you for cheer me up, hmm... you know what? I suddenly feel like talking with you, does the offer still on the table ?"
"Eheh if you had enough money, I can do more than talk with you."
She said while throwing coquetish look to Naruto.

Short while later, they arrived at the bartender
"Boss, the usual, 2 cups!"
"Ah Mei Mei, who's the lucky customer this time?"
The bartender laughed while preparing the girl's order. The girl sent her glare toward the bartender then turned around smiling to Naruto, "don't mind him, always talk nonsense, anyway, please sit, make yourself comfy, don't need to be rush."
Naruto felt something off but chose to ignore them, he shrugged then said with gentle smile, "you're the expert doc, I hear you. By the way, I'm Naruto."
"I'm Mei Mei and of course I'm the expert, I had deal with a lot of patients!" Mei Mei let out a giggle then proudly said that.
"Did the patient had the same treatment?"
"More or less, some of them even got more 'intense' one."
"Well, I wondered which one I get?"

Mei Mei take a sip from her cup, "alright enough with the pleasantry, so what's the story here?" Mei Mei let out a disappointed expression, because she's thought Naruto was just another heart broken man that need physical comfort but turned out he feel sad because he missed his long-dead mentor. She let out small breath and thought, 'oh well, I guess I can't raise the service then, such pity.' Before returning her smile then listened to Naruto's story telling.
After listened for a while, Mei Mei who just silent started become active and asked a lot of questions like why Naruto's mentor leave him in the middle of the forest only to come back after a week later, why Naruto's mentor like to plundering his saving money, why Naruto's mentor became a writer of such an 'art' book, and many other. She giggled when hear Naruto called his mentor 'Ero-Senin'.
"You won't believe the pale look on his face when he took a peek inside my wallet only to see it empty! Humph tried to steal my money again, dream on!"
"Urgh, he was so smelly when he drunk and the worst of it, he threw up on me one day which the smell had never gone even after I wash my clothes hundred of times!"
"I still remember that both of us just came back from long journey, our appearance just the same like a hobo, when we were taking a break at the side of the road, a little girl running toward us, handed over me a penny... a penny!"
Naruto keep went on about his journey, and surprisingly Mei Mei didn't look bored instead excitedly hearing them, she laughed together with him when a fun and happy event occured, she cringed and thrilled when a terrible and scare event began, she cried when a sad event happened. After a while of story telling session, Naruto finally done and as if not willing it to end, Mei Mei kept swinging Naruto hand and acted like a spoiled brat asking for more story, "that's the end of it, after that long journey, we finally back home, then went on our separate way."
"Aww, such a pity, it's so cool that you're able to go anywhere and visit many places, aahh I wonder when I will be able to do that."
Mei Mei pouted and start dreaming about going anywhere without restraint and free like a bird.

Usually in this kind of place, it's not rare for a girl to serve a lot of men to drink, but what caught Naruto's attention was the young woman that surrounded by these men weren't look like that type of women based on her wearing, she looked like that office type-women or business kind of women.
Suspicious and curiosity filled Naruto's mind but he didn't want to create a trouble without reason so he just stared at them from afar, a short while later, Mei Mei came back from the bathroom, her complexion seemed turned for the better, 'maybe she caught a little cold?' Naruto thought.
"Sorry, it took me a while in the bathroom," Mei Mei said apologetically
"No rush, hey Mei, do you know those guys on the far corner?"
"Which one? Oh, they are Brother Tiger and his gang, the tyrant around here so you must be careful when around them." Mei Mei said while looking at the group on the corner
"Do you know the woman that sit with them?"

"Then what do you think about the connection between her and that gang?"
"I don't know or care about it, she's maybe their new woman or just a woman that they want to take advantage, after all, those kind of cases were not rare here, where people want to blow off some steam and luckily, there were people like to help them."

Naruto tapped the most outer man's shoulder and said :
"Hey pal, mind if i join the group?"
