"The first order of priority is to take care of that girl." The man thought as he looked towards the place where Karin was located…
Gai, who was supposed to be guarding the particular column was standing alongside Kakashi on a certain seating column's rooftop as they held down Kabuto together.
Meanwhile, the others were too busy watching the show that was taking place on the battlefield…
"Now's my chance…" the ninja murmured as he swiftly made his way to the particular seat.
(Whoosh!)
Another ninja also appeared.
"That protector…"
"You're from the lightning country…" The man murmured.
"You're from the grass aren't ya?" The other ninja asked.
"Don't you dare take the target away from me" the man cursed.
"Which one is it?" The other ninja asked.
"It's the one with the red hair." The grass ninja replied.
"I see…"
"Mine's the one with the dark blue hair." The other ninja said as he pointed towards Hinata.
"I see...."
"Looks like our employers had the same idea." The grass ninja said.
"Yeah…" The other ninja said as he scratched his head.
"So, which direction do you plan to escape through?" The grass ninja asked.
"Why do you ask?" The other ninja asked.
"So that, if our actions get discovered,"
"Hence, by escaping in different directions, it will make it harder for them to chase after us." The grass ninja replied.
"I see…"
"In that case, I am heading North." The other ninja said.
"I'm heading South-East!" The grass ninja replied.
"Good!" The other ninja replied as he bent down and lifted Hinata over his shoulder.
The grass ninja also did the same as he lifted Karin.

The two ninjas disappeared.

At the place where the feudal lords were located…
A ninja stared at a particular feudal lord.
("Should I do it now…?") Baki thought.
Meanwhile, up on the rooftop…
Kakashi and Gai stared at Kabuto.
"Give up Kabuto!" Kakashi said.
Kabuto turned towards the barrier to check up on Orochimaru's situation.
However, it turned out that even Orochimaru was unable to make it out of the situation.
After all being surrounded by the legendary duo, not to mention the yellow flash, the kazekage, the other two legendary sannins and especially Naruto…
("To think that kid will become so much trouble…")
("Orochimaru-sama should have eliminated him back in that forest when he had the chance…") Kabuto thought.

"What is your answer?" Kakashi asked as he took out a large kunai from his kunai pocket.
Kabuto removed his ANBU mask, following which he raised his hands.
"I surrender," Kabuto said.
Gai walked towards Kabuto.
As he arrived, he put a hand on Kabuto's shoulder.
"You did the right thing," Gai said.

Sasuke turned towards the source of the sound.
"Gaara," Sasuke called out while Jūgo was still being hugged.
"Uchiha Sasuke."
"We should head back,"
"After all, the main battle isn't over yet," Gaara said.
"Mm!" Sasuke nodded.

Jūgo wiped away his tears.
"Are you going to follow Orochimaru-sama as well?" Jūgo asked.
Sasuke looked at Jūgo for a bit to see if he had any expectations for a particular answer.
"No!" Sasuke said after a moment.

"I shall follow you, wherever you go." Jūgo declared.
Gaara started to walk away followed by Sasuke and Jūgo.
"Why did you ask me that?" Sasuke asked Jūgo.
"You see, Elder brother was saved by Orochimaru-sama…"
"Naturally Elder Brother was indebted to him."
"However, I wanted elder brother to live for himself." Jūgo said.
"I see…" Sasuke nodded."
"I will never follow him, nor will I join him," Sasuke said.
Jūgo was glad from the bottom of his heart for Sasuke.
"Let's go!" Sasuke said as he picked up his speed.

"Naruto…" the others stared at him walk towards Orochimaru.
Naruto stopped in front of Orochimaru.
"Naruto!" Orochimaru growled.
It was all due to this kid that the plans he made carefully were thrown down the drain.

Naruto bent down towards Orochimaru.

("Surely, Orochimaru would not let that happen to him…") Naruto thought following which an idea flashed in his mind.
("If he plans to escape that way, then…") Naruto thought as he brought his face near Orochimaru's ears as he spoke in a low voice.
"If you think about dying in our hands and having yourself resurrected through a curse mark then you are wrong," Naruto said.
Orochimaru's eyes almost popped out.

Naruto stood upright as he stared at Orochimaru.

"For now, I will need you to be patient for a day or two until I get back to you," Naruto said.

"You are lucky to even get that kind of opportunity in your current state, so don't push your luck," Naruto warned as he walked away.
