Author-san here,
As some of you know tomorrow is the day I am starting University hence I want to take my time to explain a few things regarding the upcoming arcs and chapters of this novel.
First off I would like to make one fact clear, which is the release rate will be slowed down to ONE CHAPTER Per Day. And I repeat that the one chapter per day is NOT an absolute guarantee. It takes about 3-4 hours to write a chapter with canon content, now for original content it takes about twice the time.
You all might have noticed, I have taken my time to improve the quality and some editing issues with the chapter, despite being a one-man team. I have also taken great lengths to try and improve the character thoughts, actions, etc. to be as natural as those from the anime.
Speaking of which, the previous chapter was not intended for a Naruto x Karin relationship, but it was just the thoughts of the characters themselves, —> Minato has yellow hair and so does Naruto while Kushina has red hair, and so does Karin. Naturally, both Hiruzen and Jiraiya would assume those thoughts.
Regarding the flash backs in recent chapters, I have seen the reactions in the comments sections.
Most of you are —>'OKAY' with it
Mention that I did not say that people particularly like it or enjoy it.
As an author and a fellow story writer (even though it is a fan-fiction) I understand Kishimoto sensei's intentions regarding the flashbacks and thoughts appropriate to each situation, thus I am able to emulate his style of storytelling only through that kind of actions, So I ask my fellow readers to understand please that it is the fillers and flashbacks that keep the anime running and the same will apply for this novel from now on.
Why? —> Naruto Shippuden has over 500 episodes out of which 40% are fillers plus 5 movies which do not contribute to anime.
Same for Naruto 220 episodes —> 135 episodes are canon while the rest are fillers.
Hence my point, I will try my best to include interesting filler content which might make the novel go on for longer.
Next point,
For the future of this novel, I have not decided a storyline. I write my story with a flow. Thus I do not have any clue of how to proceed the story even now. Some of my readers from the first day might have been able to notice this problem of mine which started back in Chapter 15 - Life and Death where the readers did not like Haku and Zabuza to die. Thus Chapter 16 - The turnaround was my attempt at making a future storyline. Lastly, regarding the three wishes, the two remaining wishes might be used to fix the novel in case some drastic character development goes down the wrong route or an unexpected world-destroying catastrophe takes place, with a warning that it might end up with the fact that all I might have written till that point might become useless.
Now a message on the upcoming arc of the story.
The Chuunin Exam arc is long from over, and what we have up next is a one-month training arc probably 2-3 chapters maybe more. If you all noticed in the previous chapter, I am trying to set up an introduction for Akatsuki very early in this point, and No, the Akatsuki are not going to hunt the Bijuu's just yet. Regarding Sasuke's developments, I do have plans for that. Some may like it, while some may not, So all I can say is just read the story because it will have a lot of interesting fights coming next.
I will give a 'trailer' regarding the next interesting arc right before the Chuunin final stage arc. This is a miniature arc called THE RESCUE.
Characters have not been completely decided just yet, but I am willing to name a few key characters that will be participating in the arc
Uzumaki Naruto, Orochimaru, Yakushi Kabuto, Rasa (4th Kazekage), 3rd Kazekage, Chiyo, Deidara, Sasori etc
Hope you're all excited for the upcoming arcs.
Once again I want everyone to appreciate the fact that the work that all the original authors do are free and are not really pushed by money like many other novels, except in very little cases where the chapters are being supported on Patreon.
