In the span of a week he stayed with his mother and father for a few days before he made a trip to Daegu, and Busan before he went back to the US.
Everything was perfect, he met his wife as business partners at first, before he fell deep in love with her. At first his wife didn't like him and thought that he was just another brainless idiot that fell for her looks and wealth. But what swooned her heart was when Jace acted differently then the other men, he shamelessly admitted that he was a brainless idiot who fell for her looks, both her sweet and sadistic side.
After he got married to her, they had a two sons and named him Noah and Andrew. He was an obsessive father when it came to his children which made the weight on his wife's shoulders lessen. He and her wife spoiled Noah so much that they had already expected them both to be like those ungrateful brats, but to their surprised Noah grew up as a fine gentlemen while on the other hand Andrew was a brat who spent all the money on partying all night everyday.
Then came the time to choose who will inherit and be the next head of the FL h had built from the bottom. Andrew thought that with no question that he would be chosen, but Jace knew that handing his first son the FL, it would be handing the gang to meet it's doom. So he choose Noah, who was wooing the girl of his right hand man.
Andrew only threw a tantrum but that was it. Jace thought that will be the end of it but oh no. Andrew wasn't happy with the position that he was given, so he leaked info to the worst criminal gang the Fallen Angels. Who would have thought that Andrew would tell them to strike before the funeral of his own mother!
Jace knew, so he delayed the funeral a week back so he can deal with the mess Andrew was creating. But the Fallen Angels were faster then that, they raided Noah's house when the guard was not yet brought up. Jace was so broken, he lost the love of his life, he had to bury her, and worst of all with his son and daughter in law.
Now that the ones that Andrew wanted dead was gone, he started gathering evidences and leads of the disappearing Fallen Angels. He was so short sided at the time that after he locked Andrew up in the chamber for traitors, Andrew came out and pleaded that he regretted everything and would take responsibility by raising his nephew of the brother he had killed. Of course Jace was hesitant, but he couldn't bear to the the much clear resemblance in his grandchild's face.
So, he agreed but sent his left hand man to disguise as a butler to keep watch just in case.
A few weeks went by without and worry and just when he had rid his worry away, the daily updates that his left hand man was giving stopped. At first he wasn't alarmed before he finally received a coded message. He looked through the code, and panicked.
The code that was sent was given to only those who were captured and about to be killed. He was a 2 hour flight away, he took the earliest flight and headed to where Andrew and his new wife was staying with Jay.
Andrew had bought a house in the central part of a moderately populated city. Since Jace arrived at Andrew's house unexpectedly and Jace even had the house searched. When he couldn't find Jay, he went ballistic on Andrew and his wife before the wife caved in and told one of the maids to bring Jay and his left hand man out.
