Kylie was a normal girl, living a normal life. Nothing outstanding about her, but nothing terrible either. She was one of those normal people, lost in crowd of people and living a life of normalcy. Grew up, stable job, got married, had kids. The only real exciting thing in her life was having those two precious babies and for the first time, experienced love like no other.
Then she died. Unjustly. Leaving behind two small children that still needed her. How her children were in danger, as there was a wolf in sheep’s clothing hidden deep within the family. Her heart wrenched in pain, her soul screaming out in despair at the thought of her children falling into their clutches. No matter how she struggled, or how she wished desperately to live … Life is not that easy. Her last thoughts were always, always on her children.
Then it was dark. So dark and silent. Yet warm somehow. Was this the After Life? It was so different from what she had expected. Where was the light? Heaven? Hell? She could see nothing, she could feel nothing but yet, she was not in a panic. What was this?
It took some time for her to realise … she was not dead. She was alive, only yet to be born.
And she was a boy.
