And now we will catch that jerk that burned our guild hall! Oh wait a sec, where's my flint? I checked every pocket I have and my backpack but...
"So all of the recruits have their own flints including all of the leaders, oh wait. Zia, where's yours?" Scy's looking for my flint... but I can't find it!
"Uhmmm, I think I've lost it. But I didn't burn the guild hall. I swear to God!" Every one of them looked at me very suspiciously. But I didn't do it!
"It's all right, I think maybe you just dropped it and maybe you thought it was someone else's," Thankfully Scy isn't as dumb as I thought.
"For now, we can't blame each other... so, we have to build it again. Instead of patrolling the area, we will start building our own Guild Hall and then start to build some houses for the recruits. We guild leaders will patrol the area instead. Isn't that a good idea?" Well yes, if we don't have other ways to catch the culprit. But isn't it bad to just leave it at that? What will we do if it happens again?
"So to build, we have to get some really large rocks for a sturdier Guild Hall. Those who use earth magic, can you guys summon a large number of rocks?"
"..." Cicadas chirping...
"So... I guess we don't have much Earth Users. For our fearless Leaders, uhmmm... take over." Scy's group just went ahead leaving us the responsibility. What a bunch of lazy heads.
After that, most of the works were done by our trusted warriors chopping down trees and collecting rocks with pickaxes. Last night was a hard work but this time, with more people, we were able to build the hall really fast. Petula also helped them with the design and stuff. I just watch them do the work while others are already trying to make their own houses. We need more space for the houses so some of the assassins and warriors including Leion chopped down the trees.
It's been hours since we started building and so far we were able to build our guild hall and like ten houses. The spellcasters were exhausted like crazy and now they are resting for a bit. We prioritized the houses of the girls first so that they will have their own resting place. Boys, on the other hand, can just loiter around.
"Hey Zia, I think I will be having a shop instead of a house. I have some things to sell like cloth armors and stuff. If it's ok, of course." Chelly asked.
"Well, of course, you can. Let's just wait for the others to rest a bit ok?" I think it would be a good idea if there are shops for us.
"Hey Zia, have you seen one of Elle's members? She's signaling that one of her members is missing." Petula asked.
"Hmmm, well I can't say I have but a few moments earlier, there was this girl who's really fidgeting and can't stay put," I think I saw that one.
"Then can you help me look for her? You're not that busy so I guess you can help me right?"
"Of course. You look over there and I look over here." I suggested.
Both of us tried to look for her but we still couldn't find her.
Oh, wait! I think that's her! She really looks nervous for some reason. I have to call her, skipping work is bad!
"Hey..." She entered the forest! Is she mad? I have to get her back before night monsters make her their prey!
I tried to look for her but I heard someone talking...
I think she is talking to someone but there's no one here?
*SWOOOOOSH!* What the?! Scy came from above!
"Hello, young lady. I know what you've done and I know who you are talking to. Good job stealing Zia's flint to make her take the blame, huh. I think I know what you're saying to them. Reporting on what happened earlier right?" What are they talking about? Is Scy trying to say that this girl is at fault for the burning of guild hall and also a spy?
"When did you..." The girl started to panic.
"From now on you are out of the guild. I will tell them that you decided to go solo instead. Tell your guild leader that if this happens again, I will never forgive them." The girl just took off without saying anything. I think I know now what's going on. I have to keep it to myself for now.
After that, I went back to our place and decided to keep my mouth shut and just forget what I saw. It's better for our guild I think. We spent like overnight building our guild and not only that, we also made walls, not as tall as the other city walls but enough to keep the monsters from going inside.

After a while, Scy and his group returned to our place and I think they haven't found out anything. Maybe they just visited our hideout or something.
"Hey guys, we're back!" And now they're back.
"We have some good news and bad news at the same time. Good news is that the place is safe as always, just normal monsters roaming around. For the bad news, One of Team Lili's members, decided to leave the guild because she said that she wants to go solo instead. Staying here won't make her strong so I guess that's reasonable. For those who like to leave the guild, we won't stop you guys." He came up with a better excuse to make it sound like she didn't betray us or something.
"Also we are implementing a bounty system. I know that all of you know that there are a lot of monsters and criminals lurking around the world of New Life Online and to be honest we are not enough to stop all of them. Even the Order of Light's Protection Squad that specializes on tracking criminals and monsters are really having trouble catching them so for those who have free time, we will be giving you rewards if you catch or kill them. Rewards are of course gold and contribution to the guild. Enemy guilds are also part of the bounty." It sure sounds good but where do they get the gold for the rewards? They are mysterious as ever.
"And lastly, this guild is open to all visitors, monster, creature or humans are allowed. There is no discrimination here guys. Also, you are all assigned as guards, technically the peacekeeper of our guild. For now, we don't have any attractions, but we will have to do something about that later." He suggested. I think that's a good idea. Some of the creatures are good like the elves. But not all of them are good so we have to keep an eye on the other monsters.
"That's it for today. Later, it's your turn to patrol the Icy Fields tonight. For now, you guys can do whatever you want to do." It seems we solved the problem with our guild.
We were able to build this guild and we also allotted some space for the other buildings for the future. It's really exciting building our own small village. It's hard to travel here because of high-level monsters lurking around but I guess we will soon create a safe path for travelers to access our village easily.
"Hey Petula, can I ask you a favor? Can you create some useful potions for us in case we ran out of supply? Going to other cities takes a while and its better if people here can buy some potions and even armor for themselves." Scy suggested.
"What a pain... For potions, it's not really that hard for me to craft a lot of them. This forest has a lot of good amount of herbs needed to create potions but the real problem is about armors. I heard there is a lot of rare metals in the Rocky Mountains near Hearth Fire city. If we can make our own mining spots there I'm pretty sure we could solve the problems about materials. Also, we need to domesticate some animals for fur and animal fat. I heard there are some sheep-like monsters near the beginner's area." Hmmm, that's a good plan. They are thinking ahead of time and it's good that we have future plans. Petula sure knows a lot of stuff...
"Ok, then can I trust your team to explore the Icy Mountains? It's really dangerous though, you know what happened to my group." Scy asked her.
"Why do I have to go?! Why can't you just order Zia because they already went to the place?" She really is lazy...I had enough of that Rocky Mountains.
"Well they are kind of tired and it's just an exploration. You don't have to hunt or something. If you found a good spot then just go back here and we will manage the rest." Scy is trying to convince Petula.
"Ok ok. We will go there after we eat our breakfast. I really hate going out... This is such a pain!" She's pissed...
*SWOOOOSH SWOSWOSWOOOSH!* Out of nowhere, several knives were thrown towards us from above! I jumped and parried the knives that are flying towards me.
"So, you found yourself a group, huh. Not bad brat." It was a girl flying with black wings! I think I know her from the tournament!
