Sitter was our best mercenary and when I say mercenary, he's the one who does the dirty stuff that a formal agent like me can't do but after working for us for a while, we learned that he's also one of those people, like your parents, who suddenly showed up seventeen years ago and we don't have any information or records of him so, we were forced to let go of him, as Glace did." Azzie explained to us. Really? Kind of blunt to say someone's past to a couple of strangers like us, though.
"If Sitter has the same sketchy past as my parents, then why kick him out?" He may look like a bad guy but I can tell that he's a good guy inside.
"Well, the thing is, he doesn't know or he probably doesn't want to tell us what his mission is unlike your parents. He doesn't go out or make contacts with anyone after we kicked him out so, we can't really tell if he would be a problem or not. We only have few people inside the game who can really help you and our best choice are Glace and Sitter and their respective teams." So Two Teeth also has some kind of secret and I can assume that he would never tell us.
"Both of your in-game visions will be recorded so if you were able to reach the island and somehow find your parents, make sure that they can tell you their location and we will do our job to find them as soon as we can. I'm sure Glace can track them down and we will do our best to save your parents." She reassured me. I hope that this will really work.
"What if we won't be able to find our parents on that Island? What if they were moved to someplace else?"
"They won't be able to do that. They are trying not to attract any attention from the public that's why they chose that place. If Glace's calculations are correct, the Island is surrounded by four seas and at the end of those seas are different biomes. I'm sure you are familiar with them. At the end of north sea is the Volcanos near Rocky mountains, the west sea is near the Drowned Trident's guild, East sea is near the Desert beside the Vanguard's Stronghold and lastly, the south sea is near the Swamp close to the Other Side guild. I know what you're thinking and the answer is yes. The world of New Life Online is round and as I stated earlier, grassland is the safest biome and the most dangerous place is the Island and that is why it is the best place to hide the prisoners because no one can easily reach that place." Azzie explained elaborately. That's a lot of information to process...
"According to Two Teeth and Glace, the island seems to be small so... there might be no monsters at all. I'm not sure if we could really find anything there..."
"Well, for that question, we don't have any information yet but you know, New Life Online world is big and we still don't know if there's a hidden place or portal to somewhere else. But believe me, you wouldn't want to know more." She answered. I guess so... I feel like I'm still weak after all we've been through. I need to get stronger and that's all I can do, be strong inside the game because, in reality, I don't have the power to save them myself.
"I will stick to the plan and I will trust what you're telling me. You gave us hope and I am grateful to all of you. Please take care of Mari." I don't care what happens to me as long as my sister is safe.
"Don't worry about me, bro. Azzie will protect me." Mari said and smiled.
"Of course, I... ... ... I will." Will you please stop eating while trying to talk, Azzie...
"I'll see you later, Scy. I will obey your orders inside the game from now on. Sitter just... get on my nerves every time I see him..." Even if Glace won't tell me what happened between them, it's easy to tell.
"Thank you. I will be in your care." I smiled at her and then started to eat my meal. I need to eat a lot so I won't get hungry that fast, this will be a long night.
-Outside Life Guild-
After a couple of hours outside of the game, I'm finally back and I can tell that everyone is all busy. Outside our guild, there are giant logs and different materials that we can use to create the ship.
"Scy, you're back. Everyone is excited for our adventure that they're all doing their best to gather what we needed." It's Leion, I can tell that they really want to sail as soon as possible but I know that this might not be as fun as we imagined.
"I can see that. Let's not rush things. We need to be prepared and careful." Then I saw Two Teeth walking towards me.
"The ships will be good to go in the morning. With our numbers and spellcasters, the work will be done faster. I hope that everyone is ready for it." Two Teeth reported. In the morning huh, not bad.
"That's good to hear then, how about our navigator?" I asked.
"She's still doodling at the tavern. Not as fast as me, right? Haha." Now Two-Teeth is making this as a competition...
"I hope that everything will be ready in the morning. For now, let me help you guys transport the materials to the Drowned Tridents." I suggested and so we began to continue working.
We didn't have any troubles from the Raven's Path but only a few accidents with the mushrooms laying around the path. Some of them exploded with poison, sleeping powders and even made powerful explosions but other than that, the Ravens didn't show up.
Osia told us that she talked to her sister and I can tell that she really did argue with her but I think she won at the end. She even told me some information about the World Boss' which is, it moves from area to another and it moves so fast that it can easily detect big vessels around the whole sea. It's like it's the Island's Guardian and I hope that somehow we won't get in trouble with it. She also said that there are Legendary Bosses too but they are somehow easy to avoid as long we don't get near them. So with all the information, they've given me, maybe they really did travel the sea but was unsuccessful to really explore freely.
Hours had passed and now everyone is doing their best to help make the ships. Elves gave us a hand too, offering fresh fruits for the journey. We've stocked monster meats and some good amount of wine and stuff for those who will get bored. Thanks to our spellcasters who use ice, our food will be preserved. Fortunately, this is the good time water sprites will come in handy for fresh water. We haven't really used them like Order of Light utilize the use of sprites for their daily lives but I think it's a good opportunity now to use them. They're kind of common in grasslands but not for other biomes as they are designed to help beginners with their daily life.
Time flew so fast as we are busy working that we didn't really notice the time. It's almost morning and Two Teeth's calculation was right. We built three giant ships. Every ship will have a few people or more as our guild is growing bigger now. All we need is our navigator.
"Hey! I'm back after all night of creating the map. Here..." Speaking of the devil. She handed me the map.
"Woah... it's detailed. That's what you expect from... aheem... from a navigator." I almost said something else... the map is detailed as hell but still, it shows here some empty areas around the sea maybe because they're not explored yet. Also, the path that we will take shows a lot of different dangerous areas like the Calm Blizzard, Boiling Waters, Monsters Territory, and other areas. The sea is very big that the Grassland isn't even comparable to its size.
"You are welcome. So, are we all ready?" She asked.
"We're always ready," I replied.
After all the preparations and stuff, we said our goodbyes to our friends left in the guild and also thanked Shella's help and permission for our journey, now it's time. Finally, we boarded the ship and prepared to sail.
"I really haven't imagined myself saying this but... BON VOYAGE!"
