"Holy sh*t!" Hundreds of arrows flew towards our direction. This really should be fun.
"Ready your defensive spells!" Petula ordered her team. Every one of them started going to their positions and are getting ready to use spells.
"No need to worry. ZOFIA'S GIANT FAN OF GUST!" Out of nowhere, Chara created a giant metal fan looking thing and swings it in great power creating massive wind power flinging the arrows away. I guess we have stronger members this time.
The other ships are being bombarded by arrows too but they were able to create barriers to protect them. The ones that attacked us with arrows are from below the sea and arrows just popped out from it and flew towards the sky and to us. These monsters must be using water element to boost their abilities to do something like that.
Wait... I sensed strong auras coming towards our direction!
"Everyone, get ready, I can feel that they're going to attack us now. Get rea..." Too late!
"KACHAAAA!" A monster jumped right in front of me from the water!
*CLANG!* I swiftly parried its frontal spear attack with my dagger. It... it looks like a humanoid lizard monster of some sort and...
*CLANG!* It's fast too! A side-swing pushed me a bit and I quickly tried to attack with a thrust but it was able to block my attack with his shell-looking shield!
"KACHAAAA!" The others were caught off guard and they're trying to defend from the ambush! I need to kill this monster as soon as possible!
*CLANG* Huh?!
"Be careful, Scy. We don't want a dead Captain." Zia blocked an attack of another monster from the side that was aiming to kill me.
"Thanks but I can handle myself. You should be careful yourself." I replied.
*CLANG CLANG!* The monster in front of me didn't stop from attacking and lashed out two quick stabs aiming for my body. It may be fast by I am faster.
*BAAAAAM!* After I swiftly avoided the attack, I attacked him with my dagger aiming for its leg but... it wasn't as effective as I thought! Their bodies are tough that it only left a scratch on its leg!
"KACHAAA!" It just smiled showing his pointy sharp teeth. Are you freaking mocking me right now?!
"SWOOOOSH!" After my last attack, I held its arm and then twisted it by passing below its arm while holding it and then suddenly stab it in the chest.
*BZZZZZZZT!* I used Kyut's lighting power to penetrate his physical defense with a powerful spell and as I thought, they're not into having magical defenses. The attack was effective and it fell to the floor after that attack.
"Guys! Don't use physical attacks against them. They're weak against magic attack." I ordered and so I saw a huge amount of magic power glowing around.
"SCORCHING DEVOURER!" In one cast of a spell, Akko burnt like five of them to crisp.
"LIGHT BLADES!" Zia used two blades using light spells in a graceful way slashing every monster she can reach.
"GLACIAL SHATTER!" Osia froze those around her and then shattered them while making a pose with her hands down...
Our tanks and warriors (Spike, Azabeth, and Hades) are having a hard time keeping them away because of the monsters' good attacking and defensive abilities but they are somehow able to keep the monsters away from our spellcasters that bombarding the monsters with their spells from afar (Glaine, Ceecee, Rivaille, and Cherry) while the supports are doing their best to heal and cast protective barriers to them (Uricka and Jason). Also, our assassins and magic warriors are around the ship protecting the possible entrances to the inside of our ship and AJ who's the one controlling the ship (Ashley, Rayne, Geraint, Kraytus, Beat, Ghost, Kite, and Mezuri).
"Oh God! This Lizard guy is tough!" And yeah, of course, there's Chara who doesn't really use spells. I think she can take care of herself, though.
I looked at the other ships and it looks like the Front ship is having the worst treatment compared to us. I have to help them.
"Akko, do your best to protect everyone. I'll be giving the others a hand." I ordered Akko.
"I'm on it. Just be careful." She said.
I hope everyone is ok at the front ship. I used my fire booster to reach them fast but before I could even get near the ship... what?!
"KACHAAAA!" What the hell?! I was caught by a net or something from below! I didn't expect that!
I tried to slice it and get away but... they covered the trap with freaking scales! I fell into the water before I could even use spells to cut it!
Ugh... I can't breathe! Even if I can get out of this trap, I still need to swim and I don't know how to!
*BZZZZT* Come on! Firebooster is not working and I can't even use Kyut's ability because it will also damage me with this water. They're charging towards me! Damn... oh what the hell!

*CLANG!* This monsters won't give up! There are like literally hundreds of them!
"GAAAAH! You piece of sh*t!" You won't be able to wiggle that tail of yours after I shove this blade of mine into your throat!
I grabbed his lower mouth or lips something and then opened it. After that, I pierced the inside of his mouth with it. It tried to slash my hand but good try buddy, that won't work because I have regeneration!
"Boss! We need some help here!" Damn it Yuuki, I'm busy here!
"Are you kidding me right now? Just stab the hell out of them and stop messing around! Look at what Crimson is doing." Crimson is doing fine with that flashy crystal of his.
*SWOOOOSH BAAAAM!* Arrows hit the back of the lizard man. Now it looks like he doesn't need my help anymore.
"Thanks, Xenon. Your poison arrow can kill those monsters in just seconds! Man, they're crazy strong. I can't even take two of them at the same time." No sh*t, Yuuki. They're tough even for me.
"KACHAAAA!" Wait... why are those monsters fighting each other?! Oh... Paradox... no wonder. (Paradox's Hypnotism ability)
"I told you, use some spells! Those attacks won't work! Just use spells!" Oh man...
"Shut the hell up, Neizel! Stop ordering around and just fight, damn it!" Ashes, good job yelling at him.
"Boss! Do you need help?! You're bleeding! Are you injured?!" Ugh... this girl... and it wasn't my blood either.
"I'm not, Oyer. Just help Nyx over there who's dismembering those monsters." This girl is clingy...
"But... I want to help you!" She said... since when did I need help! I'm strong!
"Styles, you know what to do," I ordered.
"Waiit!" He held her shoulder and then poof... they disappeared and now I can concentrate again.
"I killed six of them already. How about you boss?" Someone asked me...
"Stop making this a competition, Veo. You're asking that everytime you kill a thing and if you don't stop I will end you right now!" I replied while trying to defend myself from three monsters that are charging at me.
"God... I'm just asking... fine..." Finally, I can fight without disturbances.

"Is everything ok?" Glace rushed towards them and ask.
"Guys, cover me," I said and so I also went to their location. Everything we've done so far will be all worthless if he dies here.
"He tried to use lightning spell while under water. Thankfully, he was able to kill those around him after using that spell but it also hurt him. It wasn't serious thanks to his lighting resistance from Kyut. I rushed as soon as I saw him getting pulled by the trap." She replied. It looks like he will be ok. This reckless guy. He will be a problem to us if he doesn't get it straight.
"That's good to hear. Everyone here is doing their best. Last time we came here, the monsters are not this many. They must be preparing to take their island back." Glace said.
"What do you mean?" The girl asked.
"Well, the island is technically their biome according to my sources. These Lizardmen are the inhabitants of the island. They were not as agile and strong as this in underwater before but it looks like they were able to adapt to the environment and use it to their advantage. They're not only strong in underwater but they're more powerful on land. The weaker ones are guarding certain sides of the sea which we are fighting now while the stronger ones are near the Island so the more we go further the stronger monster we see. Though we might change course if that happens because those ones are way stronger that most of us might not survive unlike right now that we are still able to keep them away. Not to mention, we are near the Ghost Island, that's what we called it. It was an uninhabited island but I guess not anymore." Glace explained.
I want to meet those bastards but I can't risk it. I said I'd make this guy reach the island so I will. Not to prove something to this guy, but to Glace. I want her to see that I'm not the guy she thought. I'm still the same guy she fell for.
"GIANT BOULDERS INCOMING!" It looks like we are near the weaker ones' base.
