What is going on? There's no mistake, I can feel the monster souls of the Legendary Bosses we fought before with the Frozen King. How did they get those monster souls?
"Scy, are you ok now? Those... monster souls... We're getting near the shore but... we left them. There's no going back." Zia asked worriedly.
"I'm ok and yes, those monster souls are the ones from the invasion. They also unlocked their final form which is nearly impossible to do. Using them is hard enough." I replied. I thought I'm the only first one who mastered the final form of a legendary monster soul. I guess not.
"We will protect you no matter what. Our mission is to get to the island and we'll do our best to help you." Chara assured me.
"Yes! You got me too!" Osia excitedly said.
I looked back... but our ships... have been demolished already. Most of my guildmates are still alive but I can tell by aura alone... they are being bested. There's no going back... It's either we get ourselves killed or defeat every one of them which is I don't think is possible with our current state now. Scy... Think!
"Relax. Don't think too much. We've been through worse. We are not going to lose today." Zia...
"Then let's show them the power of our guild." Sometimes, I ask myself if I deserve to be their leader at all.

We finally reached the shore. It looks like they don't have that much manpower as we expected. They're not into strategy but their officers have the best gears and monster souls.
"MINOTAUR KING'S SMASH!" I sensed a tremendous amount of power coming towards us!
"CENTAUR KING'S AXE OF DEMOLITION!" Another one?!
"GIANT IMPREGNABLE SHIELD!" Chara created a giant shield in front of us!
"MASSIVE BULWARK OF DEFENSE!" Zia also created a barrier in front of Chara's shield! Both of them used their weapon and armor souls!
*BOOOOOOM!* Holy crap! The impact of both their attacks and defense swept away the sand and water nearby and cleared the area! Impressive power and defense.
"It looks like there are people who can really stop our raw power from the mainland. I really thought this is an easy fight." This girl used her knuckles to use that attack. Her hair is short and I can tell that her body is in great shape prolly because of overwhelming strength, both of them look barbaric.
"I can tell. They both use equipment souls giving them power but without their souls, there's no way they can overpower us." The other one, long hair but also has a good build, said.
"Now, it's your turn." The short-haired whispered.
Huh?! It's the same fog earlier... the area is getting covered by mist and they started to disappear from our sight... This is bad even if I use my darkness, it won't help.
"CHIIIIIIIIIIIIL!" The mist started to get colder and shattered and disappeared! It was Osia's spell!
"Ahhhh! Not again!" A girl showed up behind them... a girl who's covered in scales... like a snake... it's Lamia Queen!
Her hands are severely injured. If she used the mist then that means my lightning attack earlier affected her after using that attack.
"That guy ruined my beautiful hands! Kill him first ok?" The snake girl said... Jeez...
"Go ahead Scy, we'll handle them," Zia said... If I remember it correctly, there are only six legendary monsters from the invasion and the only world boss is the Frozen King, which I don't want to see right now.
"You're not getting away! MINOTAUR KING'S FINAL FORM! CENTAUR KING'S FINAL FORM! LAMIA QUEEN'S FINAL FORM!" Now now... they're serious.
"GLACIAL SERPENT'S FINAL FORM! BRIGHT EDGE'S LIMIT BREAK! ZOFIA'S INSIGNIA'S LIMIT BREAK!" The area started to collapse and their aura is devastating the area! This isn't a fight for me at all! They are willing to risk everything for me to go do what I have to do!
"Be safe guys. Please beat the hell out of them." I ordered.
"BRIGHT EDGE'S MARK!" Zia held my hand and then...
*SWOOOOOSH!* Out of nowhere both of us got teleported to behind the enemies. So freaking fast that it's basically a teleportation... holy shit my armor is burning!
"Scy, go on... We'll defeat them." Zia said and just smiled. She can smile every situation...
I looked ahead and then rushed as fast as I can. I heard ground crumbling, explosions all over the places but I didn't look back. I will find my parents and end this all...

The area is covered in trees and I see nothing but trees. I tried to heighten my senses but I sense nothing at all. it's either I'm not in the right direction or there's really no one here.
I am sensing a familiar aura... wait is that...
"It's been a while..." No, it's a different person... I don't recognize her at all... A lady with a mask... she showed up at my back and I only felt her presence when she's already behind me.
"Who are you? It's weird that you showed up and you haven't attacked me yet. You're not like the others." I replied to what she said which I don't get. She's so familiar that I can't tell who...
"It's been so long... Seeing you so young brings back memories..." She's talking to me like we know each other and why is she saying that I'm so young? This is freaking me out.
"I'm not sure who you are but if you're not here to stop me... please stay away. I'm here for something important." I replied and started walking straight trying to ignore her.
"It's rude to ignore a girl's feelings you know." What?! I sensed a chill on my spine... this girl... is dangerous... I can't move at all...
"ROOOOOOOOOOAR!" It's the Lizard King's roar! He's finally here! I can finally move after that tremendous power...
"You again... I thought I've already killed you before." The girl with the mask said. It seems like they already fought before.
"I'm surprised myself. It's a bad decision to turn your back when you're not sure if your enemy is still alive." Lizard King replied. He's pretty mad, I can tell.
"Don't worry. This time, I'll make sure that you and your two friends that are hiding nearby will also die." She's on a different level than me, I can tell.
"KING OF THE SEA'S HAND OF DEVASTATION!" The lizard king didn't waste any time and used the same move he used to almost finished me off! His hand is covered in a whirlpool and swirling rapidly making his attack massively forceful!
*BOOOOOOOM!* Before I could see anything, the boss reached the girl in no time and made a massive splash of water to the area after hitting the girl!
"Huh?!" This time, I can tell that the Lizard King is seriously surprised by what happened... which is...
"A barrier?! ACCCCK!" The girl suddenly punched the boss with a powerful flame elemental attack?! It's like my fiery punch but way more devastating and the fire elemental power is way more concentrated than mine, even way powerful than Akko or Azzie which are the best fire element user I know.
*BOOOOOOM!* The boss was thrown away and destroyed the trees that he hits and rapidly rolling to the ground making a huge mess to the area... who is this girl?! I can tell that even Aurora won't stand a chance against her.
"It looks like I got your attention now." She looked at me, even with her mask, I can tell that she was really expecting me to show up here. Just who is she...
