"Hey, you monster! You shouldn't yell when there's a girl around! ERUPTION!" A massive fire came out below the ground burning the Giant Bear alive, though it didn't last long! Still, her fire spell improved a lot! The Giant Bear might weak to fire but it has high health. The bear rushed towards Akko trying to attack!
"GREATER BARRIER!" Lili chanted the spell.
A barrier protected Akko from the Giant Bear's attack! It wasn't just a normal barrier. It was thicker and definitely sturdier.
"POWER UP!" Another spell from Lili!
I felt an incredible amount of power! My body feels lighter than earlier. It's a spell that boosts her teammates' stats. Man, they really trained all night for having this new skills.
"FALCON'S EYES!" Elou buffed himself up with a spell that increases his accuracy and critical rate. Critical rates affect your chance to hit a foe's weak points which can deal more damage. The damage done by the critical hits are called the critical damage. If he used that skill before we practiced earlier. He must have hit me... a lot...
"ARROW RAIN!" Fast arrows were shot up into the sky! Then random arrows drop like rain hitting the bear multiple times! It was really powerful but it wastes a lot of arrows!
"ROOOOOOOOOAR!" Every time the Bear got hit, it cries in pain.
"Death Shadow! Lend Me Your Power! SHADOW FIRE EXPLOSION!" I finished it with my newly found skill when fighting the Ogres.
It was a powerful slash from my dagger that uses my fire spell fused with the darkness that came from the black stone. The chant was just to make it sound cooler.
The moment I hit the Giant Bear, the fire enveloped the Giant Bear and burned it until it dies. Thankfully there are some furs left to loot, fangs, claws, pelt and other stuff. We severed its head and put it in a bag. It's strong but with a good party, it won't stand a chance. Finding the bear, on the other hand, is hard.
"Ewww. That's disgusting. If not for the reward, I wouldn't do such thing," Akko complained. As you can see Missy, I was the one who removed the head and not you... It was really disgusting, though.
So far that's our plan for the night, technically dawn. The sun is still not here but I can see some light from the east. It's already five AM in the morning. I've been playing the game for two nights straight now. And surprisingly, our levels are higher than average players. Maybe it's because we focused too much on leveling up instead of doodling around.
The tournament won't be coming sooner and I still have the time to catch up with them. I might as well win the competition. Haha... who am I kidding?
-Order of Light City-
We arrived at the City. It's already morning.
"Hey, Scy we are going to log out for now and prepare some breakfast. You might as well want to," Akko suggested.
"Sure, what time are you going back, though?" I asked.
"We're not sure yet. We will visit our grandma this time and Elou would drive us there, so maybe around dinner time?" She said. Aw, that sucks. I would be playing alone for today.
"Sure, just pm me if you logged into the game. See you guys later and have fun!" We bid our farewells and logged out of the game.
-Aries' Home-
I woke the girls up and ate breakfast. They came back to the game as soon as they finished their meals. I also logged in back after cleaning the stuff up.
-Order of Light City-
There are lesser people around in the morning than night, as usual. Anyways I should better check my stats this time while not doing anything.

Wow! As expected from my agility, it's undeniably high though my strength sucks as my charisma. If not for the fire spells, my normal attacks would suck.
And because my Battle Mastery went to twenty-five, it will even improve my fighting capabilities better. I'm pretty sure Akko's Fire Mastery is higher than me. Anyways, that was a good boost.
Hmm? Shade mastery? It doesn't boost my stats. It says here that I can use some minor abilities of the Shade. For low ranks, I can only use the darkness which blinds the foe for several seconds depending on its dark resistance. It also adds some dark magic damage when used. With higher Fire Mastery, you would be able to control your fire spell easier and it also deals higher damage.
That's the fruit of my endless grinding. Most of the players only reach level one hundred on their second day but for me, it's a bit higher. And I'm pretty sure my party members are around a hundred already. Going level 200 might take a while though because my masteries would level up slower this time.
So, what should I do next? I'm kind of tired of hunting. Should I just get the reward from the castle? Hmmm ok, I should go there.
-Order of Light's Front Castle Gate-
I went to the gate's castle to retrieve our rewards.
"Hello Mr. Guard, I would like to get the reward for killing the Giant Bear from the west,"
"Oh really? You don't really look that strong. Where's your proof?" This guard is pretty doubtful.
I showed him the head of the Giant Bear from a bag.
"Eww. That's disgusting. Wait here for a sec and I'll call the one who gives the reward," Are you really a guard?
After waiting for a while, the guard showed up and brought another person. It's Deandre the one who defended our attacks when the Guild Leader was testing us.
"Hello again Mr. Deandre, it's me Scythus," I said friendly.
"Oh, it's you, the one who hits like a baby. This guard told me you got the head of the Giant Bear? That's kind of unbelievable boy. Maybe you stole it from someone. How about you leave the bag here and just go," He's trying to intimidate me.
"Sir, with all due respect, I just want to get my reward. If you don't want to give it to me, I'll just go even with that insults you pointed at me," I answered without showing any signs of fear.
"You leave me no choice. Guards arrest this man for stealing the property of others and for disrespecting an Order of Light Officer!" Wait, what?
Guards wearing Gold armors are coming.
