Why do I always get in trouble? From different bandits to guards and now some gang of some sort. Am I that really unlucky?
"We're well-known around here. You should show some respect sometimes you know. Leave your things and we will just say we're even. How does it sound?" He's trying to intimidate me. Well, sir that won't work on me.
"How about we go outside for a moment and It's really not good if we destroy this Inn, right?"
"Hahaha, He sure has a pff... BAAAAAM!" While he was talking I punched him in the mouth fast enough for him to not notice it and flew outside through the open door. The other guy tried to retaliate but I looked at him like I was about to attack then he suddenly stopped. That murderous aura made him lose strength on his knees and fell down like a wimp.
I went outside to let my hands do the talking.
"Hey, boss! Are you alright?!" One of his lackeys asked the guy I just punched. The guy was out cold.
"Damn you! You will pff... BAAAAAM!" I really don't want to hear some bad words right now so I send one of them flying again. The other lackeys stopped. They know that they can't do anything. They might be high-level but sometimes, you gotta show them who's boss.
"Grab your boss and leave. I'm not in the mood to kill anyone so just please go away," The guys carried their boss, though...
"KYAAAAAAH!" It's the innkeeper!
"Not so fast hero wanna-be! Move a single step and I'll slit the throat of Ms. Innkeeper here!" A dirty work from a lowlife. That kind of thing really pisses me off.
"SWOOOOOOSH!" An arrow went right between his eyes. He fell down and kissed the floor.
"Jeez, that's really not good. Disrespecting a beautiful girl is really not cool man," Elou... the girl you are trying to protect right now is really scared as hell on what you just did. You just killed a man in a nasty way.
"Are you ok, Ms. Inn keeper? You are trembling right now, are you scared they would hurt you?" Elou asked though I'm pretty sure she's not afraid of the bandits, but of you.
"Don't worry you're safe now with me," He said still not noticing what's really happening.
The gang carries their boss who's still unconscious and the corpse of one of their ally. When a player is dead, he will re-spawn on a friendly village or on the spot of his corpse, if his corpse is safe and no hostile players or monsters are around it.
"Jeez, Elou you don't have to kill him... Though what done is done," I said.
"Oh, sorry about that seeing someone doing something inhuman really gets on my nerves," Well, the lackey made a really terrible choice. They should have just left the place.
"Anyways. We should also leave now. I'm sure they are looking for us. If Celeste and that Zeth finds us, we're dead for sure," I suggested.
We left the village, which we forgot to ask the name, and continued our journey.
-Order of Light Guild Hall-
"Hello, Old man. Just what the heck happened? The city gates are in ruins and some of the buildings are also destroyed and are on fire. Who would do something like that? I might have done it too but it wasn't me," Finally, she came. It's Celeste.
"You're late! They're gone now. It's the party of Scythus who've done that! They killed many of our guards and they also knocked Deandre unconscious," The leader is really frustrated on what's happening.
"Oh, it's you who ordered me to look for the raiders of Stone Summer village. It's really so far from here. And you said "Scythus"? His group helped me with those Ravens! I'm pretty sure there's a good reason why he did this kind of thing!" She's really is pissed. She can't believe the guys have done it.
"It's them? Why didn't you tell us! Damn it! We should be thankful for them instead of harassing them. It's Deandre's fault. He tried to test Scythus and tried to arrest him in a group and you know what happened? He was defeated in an instant. But we can't let him just wander around. He killed more than a hundred of our guards. Even with Marie and Azzie they still can't defeat the guys," Things are getting more and more serious. Even with Deandre's party having higher levels, if they can't really cooperate well, then even a low-level party with good set up, they would not be able to win.
"Jeez. Just let them go. It's our fault in the first place. I should go talk to them and clear the misunderstandings. Instead of hunting them, they could be valuable as allies," She suggested.
"No, that would be a disgrace to the guild. We need to arrest them and clear the misunderstanding afterward," He ordered.
"Ok, ok, so any updates on where they are right now?" She asked.
"Sir! They are heading to the Vanguards guild! They just left the village not far from here," One of the guards made a report. That answered the question.
"What? If they reach the Vanguards guild, it will make us hard to arrest them because it's not our territory," She exclaimed.
"I know, you go out there and look for them too. Use the horses so you could catch up to them. Make sure you don't let them get away this time! Bring as many as you can," The guild leader ordered.
-Near the Dark Forest-
"Hey guys, can you already feel the chill? We're getting near the tundra. We can even see the Vanguard Stronghold from here. If we get a chance to enter the stronghold, the Order of jerks can't do anything later." Elou is really fired up today and yeah it's really getting cold.
But before we can go near the castle, we need to go deep into the forest first because the way is really filled with thick forest. Unlike the forest in the north that has elves that ruled the place and cared for the environment, here in North West is more unrefined and lots of monsters are roaming around.
I hope we can easily travel in the forest and leave the place unharmed, though it's really dark right now because basically, they logged in around five pm. I should probably make dinner because it's already nine PM.
"Hey, guys how about we log out a bit for dinner?" I suggested. I know it's risky but our real life matters too.
"Oh, I forgot to eat! It's already nine pm." Akko replied.
"Ok let's meet here after an hour," Elou suggested.
After that, we logged out from the game.
