-In Front of the Cave-
While waiting for them to come, I checked again if my Masteries increased.
Masteries
Battle Mastery 15
Light Armor Mastery 10
Light Weapon Mastery 10
Fire Mastery 5
Stealth Mastery 5
Bare Hands Mastery 5
Almost all the Masteries are still low level and I wasn't able to use my Shield so I didn't have the chance to learn it. Maybe there's a point where I can increase it.
Bare Hands Mastery increases my unarmed combat abilities also greatly improves my movements because of weight reduction from not using weapons. It increases my agility. Basically, my last resort when I am disarmed or my weapon's broken.
I heard my belly growling really loud. I can feel that I'm already hungry from all the hunting. I still have some bread here. It's not really satisfying and filling but I don't have a choice. I have wolf meat but never had the chance to cook once. Rested for a bit, I hunted non-stop earlier which made my body heavier.
-After a While-
I saw three people wondering around the wolves' area. I think it's them.
They are using torches to see through the darkness of the night. The sky is filled with thick clouds which hid the moonlight. I concentrated my mana through my hand and created a fireball, the light spread wider which made them see me.
Elou's walking towards me, "There you are Scy! Is that the cave you are talking about?".
"That's right! It doesn't seem to be your normal cave. It's as if it was made like a base of some sort," I replied while trying to clean up my mess from idling earlier.
"Yeah, you're right. We should enter inside with caution guys. We don't want to end up dying in such place," Yeah, and basically I don't want to die twice in a row.
-Cave-
Entering the cave was easy. The Entrance isn't that big but when you're inside it's really spacious as if the place is a hideout of some monsters.
*FLAP FLAP FLAP!* We heard loud flaps of wings nearby and there are bats flying towards us!
"Kyaaaahh!" A loud scream from the startled girls echoed throughout the cave. It scared us. The girls are trembling with fear. Though the bats just exited the cave and didn't harm us.
"That's a good way to welcome their guests," Elou joked trying to calm the girls.
We heard light footsteps coming from inside of the cave. We hid behind big rocks lying around while preparing for an ambush.
"Kaa Kaacha Kaacha," Two Goblins! This time they have long spear and shield made of wood. They copied the defender's equipment from the previous raid. They're not that dumb after all.
After they walked passed us leaving their backs exposed and unguarded, I took advantage of the situation stabbing a goblin with brute force killing it in an instant without making a sound. The other one got killed by Elou with a precise shot of his arrow through the goblin's head. We're good when it comes to ambushes. Saving Akko and Lili's mana is our plan in case we need their support later.
We advanced inside silently killing every single goblin around.
We found the end of the cave. There are chests lying around a there's a Goblin guarding them. It wasn't a normal Goblin, though. It's larger than normal ones and a giant wolf is lying beside it.
"Isn't this a Boss type goblin?" I whispered. Even a slight sound would wake the wolf up.
"Yeah, I think so, but I think it's a mini-Boss because most bosses are guarded by monsters," He answered silently.
We planned the attack. My job is to sneak at its back and try to land a deadly blow on the Goblin while Elou will try to kill the wolf. Akko and Lili will support us if something goes wrong.
I equipped my shield for precaution. I sneaked towards the back of the goblin. I tried to focus my strength on my dagger but before I land the hit I felt a sudden burst of pain on the left side of my body. It didn't end with that. I hit the wall made of rock and dropped on the ground!
"GRRRRRRRR!" The giant wolf woke up and managed to tackle me! It was so fast I didn't see it coming!
"Hey, Scy! Are you ok?!" Do I look ok? I just got hit by a giant wolf!
"Yeah, I was caught off guard. But it didn't damage me that much," The attack was at a different level than those normal wolves. Its giant body adds force to its attacks. It may not as fast as the small ones but it has the strength and endurance. My health decreased by a lot. It was a solid attack.
"FIRST AID!" Lili shouted pointing her staff towards me. I felt a relief after that.
"Thanks, Lili!"
The Goblin woke up and rode the Giant Wolf. They look bigger now. The Goblin picked up its long spear. I readied my dagger and shield waiting for it to attack.
The Goblin tried to stab me with its spear! The attack was so fast that I can't avoid it. Instead, I used my shield to block the attack.
*TIIIIING!*
"Shield Mastery Learned!" I knew it!
I still receive damage but it was not that much. Arrows came from Elou and hit goblin from behind. Akko focuses its fire spell on the wolf. The wolf is afraid of fire. The Wolf panicked! But it wasn't enough to dismount the goblin.
I can't move that much while trying to block the attack from the Goblin. The Giant Wolf also is trying to scratch me but I still blocked them. Elou and Akko still focus on their attacks while Lili heals me. The boss' Hp is going down for sure. It can't attack all of us so he tried to focus its attacks on me. If this goes on Lili's mana will go down too and I might die because she can't heal me anymore.
"KACHHHHAAAAAAAAA!" The Boss was enraged! It cries so loud that you can hear it even from outside the cave!
Two Goblins came from the outside and targets Elou and others. Lili can't heal me now trying to avoid the attacks of the Goblins. This is bad I might die if don't do something!
Even Elou can't shoot his arrows. He grabbed his dagger instead and tries to kill the goblins as fast as he can. But they lack the strength to kill the goblins that fast!
*CRAAAAAACK!* My shield broke leaving me defenseless! Jeez!
The boss swung his spear hitting my side and pushed me to the ground. It is now preparing to stab my head with the blade of its spear!

We heard light footsteps coming from inside of the cave. We hid behind big rocks lying around while preparing for an ambush.
"Kaa Kaacha Kaacha," Two Goblins! This time they have long spear and shield made of wood. They copied the defender's equipment from the previous raid. They're not that dumb after all.
After they walked passed us leaving their backs exposed and unguarded, I took advantage of the situation stabbing a goblin with brute force killing it in an instant without making a sound. The other one got killed by Elou with a precise shot of his arrow through the goblin's head. We're good when it comes to ambushes. Saving Akko and Lili's mana is our plan in case we need their support later.
We advanced inside silently killing every single goblin around.
We found the end of the cave. There are chests lying around a there's a Goblin guarding them. It wasn't a normal Goblin, though. It's larger than normal ones and a giant wolf is lying beside it.
"Isn't this a Boss type goblin?" I whispered. Even a slight sound would wake the wolf up.
"Yeah, I think so, but I think it's a mini-Boss because most bosses are guarded by monsters," He answered silently.
We planned the attack. My job is to sneak at its back and try to land a deadly blow on the Goblin while Elou will try to kill the wolf. Akko and Lili will support us if something goes wrong.
I equipped my shield for precaution. I sneaked towards the back of the goblin. I tried to focus my strength on my dagger but before I land the hit I felt a sudden burst of pain on the left side of my body. It didn't end with that. I hit the wall made of rock and dropped on the ground!
"GRRRRRRRR!" The giant wolf woke up and managed to tackle me! It was so fast I didn't see it coming!
"Hey, Scy! Are you ok?!" Do I look ok? I just got hit by a giant wolf!
"Yeah, I was caught off guard. But it didn't damage me that much," The attack was at a different level than those normal wolves. Its giant body adds force to its attacks. It may not as fast as the small ones but it has the strength and endurance. My health decreased by a lot. It was a solid attack.
"FIRST AID!" Lili shouted pointing her staff towards me. I felt a relief after that.
"Thanks, Lili!"
