I can't really remember but maybe it's connected to the hideout we found when we are in the Order of Light City. Though, his equipment from that time was different from today.
"Well, I'm sorry. You can try but I promise you, you can't beat me." Of course, trash talk is normal between competitions like this but I can already sense how strong he is and from the looks of it... he is way weaker than one of the thirteen Gods. He might have been lucky fighting weak participants.
"YAAAAH! Taste the blade of my spear! SPEAR WILD THRUST!" He can't even wait. He's really mad while charging at me. He seems to be fast even with that equipment and a large shield.
*SWOOOOSH!* I was able to dodge the attack because it was easy to avoid. With my agility, I can even evade attacks that are really hard to evade.
"Damn sneaky brat! SPEAR PENETRATING SHOT!" He threw his spear at my direction! It was a fast surprise attack and hard to avoid this time.
I turned around and hoped that my shield could defend from his attack but...
"Ughhh!" That caught me by surprise... I shouldn't have done that and just avoided the attack! The attack looks like a normal long range attack but it had a penetrating effect which ignored a portion of the defense and pierced through my shield. The damage was not really that high but I didn't really expect that he could really do damage to me.
"Haha! Did you feel it, right? Did it feel great? This time you will feel more of the pain you dealt with me!" Jezz! He really does hate me very much. He drew his spare sword to attack me again after he threw his main weapon.
"SWORD PENETRATING THRUST!" He used his sword to attack me and try to kill me this time.
"SWOOOOOSH!" He pierced my body and pass right through me like it was nothing... though it was literally nothing because shade helped me with its passive skill that physical attacks wouldn't work on me... His first attack earlier hit me because Shade isn't really paying attention and I didn't expect it to pierce through my shield... or Shade's just being an arse.
"DARK SLASH!" I countered while he panicked after hitting nothing. I slashed his back really hard with the chills of the dead spirits.
"DAMN YOU! SWORD PENETRATING SHOT!" Really?! He threw his sword again at me but it just got passed right through me... It was a useless and worthless attack, just a waste of energy from him.
"ORC GLADIATOR'S WRATH!" He used his Monster's soul as he mentioned earlier. His armor changed into some kind of gladiator armor and he got a large shield and long improved spear weapon. Is he going to attack me again?
Orc Gladiators are a normal boss type of Orc warriors. They are some kind of leader of the group.
His spear this time releases an aura. It feels like it has magical power this time and if I got hit, Shade's passive won't work. I'm not really a kind of guy that makes the fight longer. I will end this now.
"ORC GLADIATOR'S BERSERKER SLASH!" He is also preparing to use his ultimate move but it wasn't enough to defeat me.
"TITAN'S GIANT FIERY EXPLOSION!" How about a giant hand looking fire spell?
*BOOOOOOOM!* I used one of the powerful fire spells I have which exploded after hitting him. He was knocked unconscious because I hold back to not end his life. Killing him would be fun but I don't really want people hating me so much.
"Lionidus is incapacitated and can't continue the fight! The winner is Scythus!" Aika announced that I am the winner.

I went back to our seats and they congratulated me as usual. Only Lili and Akko's the only one who needs to win to enter the fifth round.
After that Lili and Akko fought one of the officers of different guilds. For some reason, the other Gods also didn't meet the other Gods on their fights. The fourth round hasn't ended yet, Warden, Bludgeon, Celeste and the leader of Storm Seekers hasn't fought yet.
"Our next fight is between Warden, the Vanguards Guild's Guardian and Vortz, the Leader of Storm Seekers and the Seventh God!" Aika announced.
They both entered the arena to get ready. This will be a tough fight for Warden because Vortz is one of the Gods, not to mention this one is stronger than his Guild leader. Is this really going to be a fair fight? Doesn't look like it, a defender against a spellcaster.

"DEFENDER'S STANCE!" Warden used his defensive stance that greatly improves his defensive abilities! He seems to be calm and trying to focus on the fight. He might be thinking that he should do his best in order to win the fight.
*BZZZZZZT!* What the?! Vortz in a blink of an eye rushed really fast to Warden and managed to appear behind Warden! He is really fast! Maybe that's because of his lightning spells. Lightning spells can greatly increase someone's speed and accuracy.
"STORM BREAKER!" A powerful charge of electricity was shot towards Warden! His back is exposed to his attack! What are you going to do Warden!

*BAAAAAM!* He used a skill that looks like the ones Deandre used! The attack was so powerful but he defended from it. His defense is covering his whole body that even a fly can't get inside his barrier. Not bad Warden. At first, I thought you don't have a chance but you are changing my mind right now.
"That shield will not help you because I will break it! PIERCING LIGHTNING!" Vortz cast a powerful lightning spell that is powerful enough to pierce anything but it wasn't enough to break Warden's Spell! What the heck? I still haven't seen how warden fight because the last time we met he just became a support for Siegriel.
