"People of New Life Online! The fourth round has ended. We will now tell you the names of the participants who will enter the fifth round. They are... Hmmmm?" Before Aika tell the names of the participants, one of the guards of Order of Light's guild whispered something to Aika.
"Aheeem Aheeem. One of the officers who handle the matchmaking seems to be having some sort of technical problem. One of the participants didn't have a chance to fight in a match. She's Shella, the guild leader of Drowned Trident. Please wait a moment, fellas." Hmmmm? What the heck is happening?
There was some kind of problem in matchmaking. Is this some kind of mistake? They said that one of the Dark Brotherhood officers fought twice in the fourth round. He lost twice the match after fighting Mari, only got unconscious, and the second match against Daimond, died. We didn't actually notice it because Dark Brotherhood members were using the same shady clothing.
"We are very sorry for what happened earlier about the matchmaking. We are still investigating the cause of the issue but because we have 17 participants left, we need to prepare a final match to balance the matchmaking. We also tried to get an interview from their guild leader but he seems to be trying to avoid us. Well, this kind of disturbance happens from time to time." Aika apologized because of a minor problem. Jeez. They should really check the details more often. And now I thought the fourth round has just ended from the last fight.
"Oh, we've got the latest report about the issue and it seems Shella's name was erased by someone and changed it by the same guy who participated twice. Their guild leader also wasn't aware of this. He used two different names and that is why most of us didn't notice. Shella was supposed to fight Daimond. We will ask now if Daimond is ok fighting Shella in just a short notice." Though Daimond really didn't make an effort fighting that Dark brotherhood guy and I guess he deserved it. He lost twice and now he still can't log in because of the death penalty.
"Daimond seems to be pretty confident and agreed to fight Shella. Fellas, get ready for the last match of round four between Shella, the guild leader of Drowned Trident, and Daimond the Guild leader of Bastion's Citadel!" Aika excitedly announced.
They both entered the arena. This is the first time I can watch how he will fight against someone. I can feel Shella's aura and I can tell she isn't just someone who'll get defeated easily.
Daimond (400)
Specialty: High-tier earth spells with melee combat abilities.
VS
Shela (390)
Specialty: High-Tier water spells with high mana and health regeneration.
"Ready, Fight!" Aika signaled the start of the fight.
Daimond didn't waste any time and rushed towards Shella! He seems to be the kind of guy that doesn't want to talk. Let the muscle do the talking, I guess. He drew his sword and prepared to lash out a powerful slice!
"SWORD BUSTER!" A fast side slash is aiming for Shella's head! He doesn't show any weakness that he can even attack a girl without any signs of holding back.
"Slow down a bit. WATER PRISON!" Daimond's body in an instant was covered in water! It grew larger and larger that it made it like a big ball of water. Daimond seems to be having a hard time moving inside the water ball and if this takes too long he might get drowned.
"Daimond is trying to struggle inside the water ball! Is he going to die inside? Will it be a slow but sure death?!" Aika excitedly commented.
He slashed the water with a fast swing but in an instant, the water just combined again after getting sliced. Water isn't like earth magic that if you break, it can't be easily combined. Water is easy to control but not as sturdy as earth magic.
She didn't stop from that. She lifted up the water ball where Daimond's currently at. Is she preparing a powerful attack?! Daimond's hp is going down! He can't breathe!
"TIDAL PUSH!" This time she pushed the water ball out of the arena! Is she trying to defeat Daimond by forcing him to go outside? It's a cheap move but it's a sure win too.
"EARTH WALL!" He created an earth wall outside the arena while in mid air! He slammed to the wall and the water ball shattered! And before he got caught by it again, he used the wall to jump and got back to the arena. He can also use earth wall!
"BEHOLDER'S WRATH!" He seems to be kind of pissed, boys and their temper... His armor grew larger and looking stronger too. His weapon also has some earth aura on it that boost his physical attack and can inflict an additional magic damage.
"BEHOLDER'S SLAP!"
*BAAAAM!* The water ball again was created and now aiming to capture Daimond but he slapped it with a giant earth hand magic. That was a fast spell cast right there.
Spellcasters are really difficult to fight because they can just use range magic attacks while running away from foes, not to mention earth types like Daimond are really slow because of heavy earth properties.
"BEHOLDER'S GRASPING HANDS!" He created a large earth hand and aiming to grab Shella!
"SLIPPERY SKIN!" He grabbed her successfully but...
"SWOOOSH!" In just a matter of seconds before Daimond squeezes her to death, Shella managed to slide out from being held! Her body is so slimy that she's really hard to hold, like an annoying eel.
"BEHOLDER'S FLICK!"
*BAAAAM!* While Shella managed to escape from being held, a fast finger flick hit her before she got away!
"Ughhh!" It was a surprise attack! It may not be as strong as his other attacks but it was a cheap shot, a fast attack but has low damage.
Her posture didn't change. Even after getting hit, she still managed to maintain her focus.
"HEALING WATER!" What the? She can heal herself? Glowing water started to heal her injury. It's like fighting a support and a spell caster at the same time.
"Men are disgusting, time to get serious. MERMAID'S QUEEN'S WRATH!" A mermaid queen? Holy crap, that's a rare boss too! Where do these people get to find rare bosses? Jeez, every single one of us uses rare bosses as our monster soul. But that's normal because they're the strongest after all.
Her body is covered in some kind of armor fins and her skin is kind of exposed a bit but it's getting normal now because of previous girls' monster's transformations. Game devs designed these kinds of armors and they should be loving it. Her elemental power also rose up a lot! Azzie, Akko, Vulkhan and I will be her best targets.
