Zeth and Warden, warrior against a defender, this will be a tough fight. Though Warden will be a bit in a disadvantage because he specializes on magic resist that counters magic spells, I guess. So what will you do Warden?
They entered the arena with their usual equipment. Normal armor and a great sword for Zeth and heavy armor, a sword and shield for Warden.
"Ready, Fight!" Aika signaled the start of the fight.

Specialty: High-tier melee combat abilities, focused on dealing huge damage than defense.
VS
Warden (320)
Specialty: Endgame magic resist with reflective spell barriers. Subpar melee abilities but can deal damage that can't miss.
"Have you heard of me? Because you better hold on to that shield. It may save your life." A trash talk from Zeth, it's really expected from him. This guy is arrogant as usual.
"I will say you better save the talk when you bite the dust." Woooh! That's the spirit Warden!
"You'll eat that words soon enough! RUSH!" Zeth used his fast gap closer skill. In an instant, he's already at Warden's attack range. He is preparing for his next move!
"STAGGERING BLOW!" It was a hard uppercut slash from below! Warden blocked it with his shield but the power of the attack lifted his shield making him lose balance! With a tower shield like that, Zeth really has some good amount of Strength!
"CYCLONE!" A roundhouse slash is coming its way to hit him from the side while Warden's shield can't block it!
"BARRIER!"
*BAAAAAM* Close call! Warden used a support spell to create a sphere barrier that shields his whole body! That was a good defense but broke as soon as Zeth hit it! It was a low-level barrier that blocks physical attacks but it still helped him!
"OVERHEAD SLASH!" It's his last move, though Warden's shield now can block it without any problems.
*BAAAAAAM! CRAAAAACK!* What the?! The attack broke his Tower shield! I can't believe it! The powerful strike broke a full defender's shield! Not only that but he was knocked back by the attack!
"Ughhh...!" Warden took a lot of damage! This is not looking good.
"Zeth is really not wasting any time and doing his best to use his famous combo attacks! It's really expected but this time, he really improved a lot. Warden with his best defense is having trouble. What can you say old... Mr. Maximus?" I don't know if Aika is doing it on purpose but I like it.
"Aheeeem, I can say that Zeth trained really hard these past few days for the tournament. He even defeated different kinds of Bosses all over the World of New Life Online." Oh really? I remember you can't even catch a single criminal with your army's full force even with that Zeth dude which is really annoying.
The fight continued and after Zeth's last move, he initiated again another combo!
"BULL RUSH!" He's not wasting any chance and used his improved moves! The first combo was powerful but if I remember it correctly, the next combo will be even more powerful! He's holding his great sword with both of his hands and is charging towards Warden with high speed!
"BARRIER!" Warden can't block the attack and decided to use the low-level barrier!
"STAGGERING STOMP!" He hit the ground with his foot and shook it for a second making Warden stand unsteadily and lost his focus canceling the barrier!
"You're not going to get away with this! PROTECTOR OF THE GOD'S TEMPLE'S WRATH!" It's his ultimate defense mode! His armor once again changed into a full-scale armor and a shield was created to defend from Zeth's attacks.
"BULL CHARGE!" Another one!
*BAAAAAAM!* It was like a bull rush but with greater force! Once again, it broke his shield and knocked him back! What the hell is going on?!
"IRON KNIGHT'S WRATH! FINAL THRUST!" It's his ultimate attack! His greatsword transformed into a sharp long sword! He put a lot of mana and full force to this attack! He is now charging once again to defeat Warden!
"It's not going to happen! GOD'S PROTECTOR'S BANE GIANT SLASH!" His sword transformed into a bigger sword and ready to collide with Zeth's attack!
*CRAAAAACK! BAAAAAAAAAAM!* The giant sword shattered into pieces after getting hit by Zeth's ultimate attack and it didn't end from that! Zeth's sword pierced Warden's armor even with that kind of defense and stabbed him!
At that moment, Warden died from the massive attack. It may not be flashy but damn, it was a really good move. I'm now sure earlier but Zeth's armor penetration is beyond my expectations. His fast combo maneuvers are also hard to counter. The fight didn't even last five minutes. Those gap closer, staggering moves, knockbacks, armor penetration, and powerful strikes are so much pain in the butt.
"And the winner of the first match is Zeth, still undefeated!" Aika announced the winner.
"WOOOOH! YOU REALLY ARE THE BEST!" People around the stadium cheered for Zeth, though I feel sorry for Warden. The fight was really one-sided.
Even Siegriel can't believe what happened from their fight. He knew that Zeth is really strong but not kind of this strong. You can see how angry Sieg right now yet he doesn't show it, a true leader. This tournament doesn't just make people fight but different guilds' anger towards another is also growing and can't be avoided.
