Prince Alex stuck to Alexa like super glue after clearing the air between them. He did not want to take the chance of anyone sneaking in between them, while he had his back turned around.
Everything had been cleared up and back to what it was supposed to be..., and they all happily chatted over breakfast.
Prince Alex had invited himself to join them, and he could not help it as he did not want to leave Alexa's side as long as he lived. Alexa was over the moon, her face glowing like a star and the sun above the clear blue sky. She started to feel alive once again, and it felt like she could conquer the world with her Prince by her side. They officially became an item, and everyone accepted it happily and wholeheartedly.
Breakfast was delightful, everyone was happily chatting, joking around, and the atmosphere was just perfect — family bonding. Ms. Garcia was playing the mother, Daniel the older brother, Ria, and Andrea, the older sisters. The only person missing was...- President Grant...
Alexa had not been able to spend as much time with him ever since she found out that he was her missing biological father. With everyone gathered like the wat, it was at that particular moment, she missed him so much and decided to Facetime with him in front of everyone — forgetting that Prince Alex had not known their real relationship.
President Grant was in the Oval Office signing some documents when his phone started buzzing. When he looked and saw that it was Alexa, he told his assistant to leave him alone. Once the assistant had left, he quickly slid his finger to the screen to answer the Facetime.
"Hello! My princess, did you arrive safely?" President Grant happily greeted Alexa. Unknown to him, others were hearing him until Daniel spoke.
"Yes, father, your prince arrived safely!" He shouted from where he was sitting right across Alexa.
President Grant laughed before replying to Daniel. "Did I ask you how you are doing? I didn't, did I? Why are you butting into our conversation? Who asked you?! President Grant jokingly replied to his son.
"Mr. President, sir! Excuse me! But there are..." Alexa was going to say that there are other people around.
However, President Grant was quick to cut her off. "Why are you calling your father Mr. President sir?! Hmph! Princess, you're hurting Daddy's feelings, you know that, right?" President Grant said, loud enough for Prince Alex to hear every word. And his face lit up when he listened to what the President said. He liked what he had just heard, Alexa being the President's daughter, would help a lot in the process of them being able to get married. - That's as if they overlooked that she was illegitimate.-
Regardless, as long as she was not a commoner, based on what he just heard, she was the number one and the princess of the United States Of America. She was Royalty in a Country that does not have one. He was glad to hear that and couldn't wait for him to be able to inform the King's advisor whenever he returned to Stonasia.
"As I was saying, you are on the speaker, and everyone can hear you." Alexa quickly informed her father. " See...!" She pointed that camera around the table, and everyone waived at the President in return. Including Prince Alex, who had a big grin on his face.

However, President Grant's face suddenly turned grim when he saw that he was seated next to his daughter. Therefore, as soon as Alexa's face was showing, "we need to talk in private. Now!" He ordered. Immediately, everyone knew that he was pissed...
Alexa quickly excused herself and went to her bedroom to speak to him privately...

After a while, Alexa came out of the room with a sullen face. Prince Alex quickly got up and walked like the majestic being that he had always been and asked Alexa while caressing her cheek. "What's wrong sweetheart, tell me? Did your father get upset because of me." He said softly and tenderly with eyes full of love and concern.
Everyone was holding their breath, waiting for Alexa's response. All eyes focused on her. You could hear a pin drop, for the whole room was quiet... The way that President Grant had ordered her, it seemed that he did not approve of Prince Alex and they too were concerned.
Alexa let out a sigh first, before turning her attention to Prince Alex. "My father s-said, he would like to have a meeting with the King about you and I. Is that possible?" She said almost a whisper with tears threatening to fall from her eyes. She was afraid of the request. She thought it was absurd since they had only recently gotten back together. She would understand if Prince Alex was not yet ready to introduce her to his family.- Well, at least that's what she thought.
However, Prince Alex replied, "I'm sorry, sweetheart, but that's impossible." Without going into further details. Alexa's face turned pale and for the worst, and everyone could plainly tell that she was not happy with the answer she had received. She was misunderstanding him once again, without asking or waiting for the full details.
"WHAT?!!!" Daniel shouted from where he was seated next to Andrea on the sofa. He was obviously not happy with the response that Prince Alex gave. "Prince Alexander, if you want me to continue calling you brother-in-law, you better clarify yourself." He asked with his face all scrunched up, eyebrows almost touching each other.
Prince Alex turned his attention to Daniel, ready to explain, he also did not want to cause any misunderstandings anymore.
