Ms. Garcia was very fast in clarifying herself once she heard the outrage from the President and Daniel. She walked further; closer to where President Grant was sitting and introduced herself.

"Good day, Mr. President! I am

Ms. Garcia," She extended her right hand for a handshake while her left hand had her business card ready to hand it over to the President. "This is my credential, and who I said I am. As you can see, I am a talent manager for a beauty pageant, and Alexa here is my talent." She pointed towards Alexa with a kind smile plastered on her face. "As she is my talent, I am here to pick her up so she can start her training immediately." She followed up nonchalantly.

President Grant accepted her card and handed it over to Daniel to read while he continued assessing Ms. Garcia with a blank look on his face. Daniel Grant checked the business card then made a quick phone call which afterward, he nodded to his father, indicating she was who she said she was indeed.

"Ms. Garcia, why don't you have a sit so we can discuss this further? At the moment, as you can see, we have a company, and we are about to have dinner. Why don't you join us if you have the time?" Was all President Grant said to Ms. Garcia, which marked the end of the discussion at that moment.

Ms. Garcia knew better than to push the matter any further. She simply accepted by finding a seat next to Grandmother Grant. After greeting the old lady, she sat down elegantly and very professionally. Once seated, she then scanned the surrounding and greeted everyone else by nodding and giving a half smile.

Jane Si, who had been seating very prim and proper acting all high and mighty, could not hold herself when she heard that Ms. Garcia was a talent manager for a beauty contest. She conjured that smile she usually used when she wanted something from someone before speaking directly to Ms. Garcia.

"Excuse me, Ms. Garcia. Did I hear it correct that you're a talent manager for a beauty contest?"

Ms. Garcia looked at the young lady who had spoken, assessed her before responding. "And who are you might be?" She asked with one eyebrow raised as if she suspected a hidden meaning to her question.

The First Lady interjected, "You don't know her? And you're supposed to be a talent manager for a beauty contest? Where do you scout your talent's? In a gutter? Hah!" She sarcastically and directly insulted Ms. Garcia right in front of everyone, then continued with what she was saying.

"My niece here is one of the top international models and a celebrity. Have you not heard of Jane Si? She has been a star for a decade now. She has endorsed various brand names product and been in many commercials. How could you not have recognized her?" First Lady Dianne exclaimed.

Jane Si loved the way First Lady Dianne spoke proudly of her achievements. This way, she didn't have to do it herself, making her more arrogant in front of everyone. She needed to maintain her pure and innocent image to the end in case they wanted to compare her and Alexa Grant in the future.

Ms. Grant didn't like the way the First Lady degraded her and spoke down on her. However, she knew how to play politics, and she did not get this far in her career for nothing. She put half a smile on her face and turned her attention fully to Jane Si as if she was assessing her full value.

Jane Si sat up with her back straight, elegant posture and a beautiful pout on her lips. On top of that, she was tall and already a supermodel. "The truth of the matter is no! I have never heard nor seen her, not in my circle anyway." Was all Ms. Garcia said and turned around to give her attention to Grandmother Grant, who had been trying to get her attention.

"Yes, Ma'am! What was it you were saying? I'm sorry that I didn't catch it." Ms. Garcia apologized wholeheartedly.

Grandmother Grant looking straight to Ms. Garcia's, "What are you planning to do with Alexa?"

Ms. Garcia was stunned by the question. She could see the concern in the old woman's face as she mentioned Alexa's name. "I'm sorry. I cannot give you the full details now, but we can discuss it later in a more private setting. But let me also assure you that it is for her future. Alexa has a very bright future ahead of her." She said it calmly. Her eyes were filled with excitement for the future with Alexa.

"Hmmm! Alright! We will talk later. We will see about this beauty contest you're talking about..."

Alexa, who was sitting in between her older brother and grandmother, quietly absorbing everything that was happening around her, smiled mildly. She listened to how the elite spoke with one another and how they interact. There were still so many things she needed to learn, and she hoped that Ms. Garcia would teach her everything she knew.

Therefore, no matter what happened, she needed to make sure that President Grant let her go with Ms. Garcia. She needed to plan for her future, and Ms. Garcia was her ticket to achieving her longtime dream of becoming a beauty queen... No matter what it took!

Meanwhile, inside the Penthouse at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Prince Alex was blowing fire from his nose and ready to murder Pierre for the wrong information they had received. It had been almost a week since they arrived in Washington D.C. and they were running out of time. In a couple of days, it would be the First Lady Dianne's birthday coming up, and he would be going back home after the party.

"Ahhh!" Prince Alexander screamed out loud out of frustration while throwing the glass of hard liquor he was holding towards the wall which shattered it into pieces, before squatting down on the floor and slumping to the ground...

"ALEXA GRANT!!! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU???" Prince Alex shouted out his frustration for the whole world to hear... Not knowing that the same person he had been searching for the entire time was right under his nose.

Pierre was standing in the far corner of the room, watching his boss lose control. For the first time in Prince Alex's life, he found someone that moved his playboy heart. However, in a flash, she vanished into thin air.

'Maybe we are not meant to be. Maybe I should just let it go and get on with this silly princely life of mine.' He thought to himself. 'Give me a break already. I am so tired. I'm bushed, and I could use a love life myself, after all, I am human too.' Pierre thought to himself as he watched his boss slump to the floor, defeated...
