First Lady Dianne excused herself that the heat was too much and she has a massive headache and needed to rest. She asked Lady Lucy and Jane Si to accompanies her so they could speak in private.
Lady Lucy asked Ramon if he would like to accompany them, but he declined to want to stay where he could be around Alexa. Lady Lucy didn't push him, knowing how he feels about Alexa Grant. She put her hand onto Ramon's shoulder on the way out and tapped it. "Good luck! Go get her!" She whispered.
Once they had left, Ramon was left by himself feeling out of place with no one to speak with. He was contemplating whether he should join where Alexa was or where Daniel Grant and Prince Alexander was seating. While he was still undecided, President Grant came over and sat opposite him. "Hello! Young man! What your name?"
Ramon was speechless, and he was not prepared for the President himself to come and join him and spoke to him. "R-R-Ramon Le Grand Sir! Mr. President, Sir!"
"Well, nice to meet you, Ramon Le Grand." President Grant extended his hand for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you as well, Sir!" Was all Ramon could utter as he accepted the handshake.
"Now, why don't you enlighten me and tell me how you knew my Alexa? From what I saw that day, it seems that you two have a long history from the way she was all over you that day?" President Grant was looking at him with a face full of curiosity.
Ramon did not hesitate to recount everything, and he was proud to inform the President that he and Alexa were a childhood friend. "So, I was devastated to find out that she was gone and I had looked all over the whole Country for her, only to find her here."
President Grant sensed that Ramon has a feeling for his daughter, more than just a friend. The contour of his face suddenly turned grim with the thought of losing his daughter when he just found her. He needs to make sure and prevent it from happening if that's the case.
"Young man, I want to ask you a question, and your answer is crucial for your future association with Alexa. I advice you to think carefully before you answer, you understand?!" He said it a little stern, to intimidate Ramon. "Are you in love with Alexa?"
Ramon didn't have to think or hesitate, and he replied straight face without blinking an eye. "Mr. President, to reply to your question, yes! I'm in love with Alexa and plan to marry her if she would have me. Not now, of course! I know she's still young and so am I. I'm still in college and has couple more years before graduating. But, rest assured that she would not go without if she chooses me. I hope that answers your question." He then finally took a breather.
Now, it's the President's turn to be speechless. He could not believe what he was hearing, even after giving Ramon a warning. He still has the guts to admit that he's in love with Alexa and willing to wait whenever she's ready. That is if Alexa accepts him to be her partner for life. Hmmm?"
"Fair enough! Hmmm? I like it! You have guts and integrity, and I like that from a man. You're not bad, and I wouldn't mind having you for a son... I mean a family member..." President Grant almost blurts out the word son-in-law, and Ramon catches that. He decided to come clean and let the President know that he knows that Alexa is his daughter.
"Sir, there's something I must admit to you as well. You see!... I knew that Alexa came here to meet with her father, and I put two and two together. With both of you have the same last name, there's only one conclusion, she either your niece or your daughter. However, rest assured that it does not matter to me; what matters to me is Alexa and no one else."
President Grant was surprised by Ramon's honesty and sincerity over Alexa, and he likes his demeanor much better than that pompous Prince Alexander who's about to gobble up his only daughter.
He decided to give him a chance. "I tell you what, I will not have any issue with you hanging around with Alexa, but keep in mind that she's still young and has a bright future ahead of her. Court her if you must, but no hanky punky! You got that?" He then got up and patted Ramon on his shoulder as he was ready to go back inside. "Good luck! Boy! Hahaha!" The President was laughing out loud as he walked away.
"Thank you! Thank you, Sir! I promised you would not regret it!" Ramon shouted to the President as he was leaving, and in which everyone heard and turned around to see what's going on?
The most curious one was Prince Alexander, "what do you think was that about?" He asked Daniel, who's also bewildered.
"Bitch me? Whatever it is, it seems he just got an approval from the President himself. Hmmm? I need to find out, it better not be about Alexa, cuz if it is, then I will make sure he doesn't get out of here alive." Daniel told Prince Alexander while grinning from ear to ear.
Alexa saw that Ramon was alone and by himself, she quickly got up and went to where Ramon was seating quietly with a smile on his face. "Boyfriend, what's up? Why are you by yourself? Where's your mother and that witch?" Alexa asked while pulling Ramon to his feet.
"What are you doing? They went inside; they were hot and needed to rest. Where are you taking me?" Ramon wouldn't budge from his seating position.
Alexa put her two arms and back hug Ramon then whispered. "I want to introduce you to my new friend and also to show that pervert over there that I'm already taken. Could you do that for me, please!!!"
Alexa has no idea that Ramon was over the moon with her requests. He likes it that Alexa doesn't like Prince Alexander at all. "Anything for you sweetie, lead the way, and I'm all yours." He turned around and gave Alexa a peck on her cheeks then got up while Alexa still had her arms on his shoulder.
"Let's go, let me introduce you first to my new friend, then we could show off to that pervert." She whispered to Ramon's ear.
However, Alexa and Ramon did not get a chance to reach IAMAC group, Daniel and Prince Alexander blocked them, both men have a murderous look on their faces while glaring at Ramon...
