Ning Tao yanked the IV needle off the back of Jiang Yilong's hand and pushed his bed through the black hole in the wall. Then he entered the hole as well.

During the whole process, Ning Tao felt like he was pushing a hospital bed through a dark tunnel without lights. After a second or two, he saw familiar objects, like the good-evil tripod with a human face, ancient desk and bookshelf, utensils of different materials and sizes, and some other things.

He was back at the Sky Clinic.

Ning Tao jerked his head back. The black hole had disappeared, and there was a blood lock pattern on the wall. Subconsciously, he glanced at the clinic key in his hand and realized that if he wanted to go back, he would have to insert the key into the blood lock and open the door again.

Then the face on the good-evil tripod suddenly opened its eyes which was full of anger.

When a kind person came, it smiled; when an evil person came, it scowled. This was the feature of the good-evil tripod.

A plume of smoke rose from the tripod. The clinic was suddenly smoky and hazy, making it hard to see things clearly.

Ning Tao parked the hospital bed in the empty space in the middle of the clinic.

Two tears suddenly rolled out of the corners of Jiang Yilong's eyes, his eyes opening wider.

Ning Tao lifted the head of the bed by hand and said coldly, "Don't pretend to be in a coma, your present wife, your daughter Jiang Hao and your wife's brother are not here. It's just you and me."

Jiang Yilong's eyes slowly opened completely. He saw the curling smoke, the old beams, desk, and bookshelf, and the good-evil tripod with a human face.

The scowling face on the tripod stared at Jiang Yilong with fierce eyes.

Jiang Yilong was startled and asked, "Is... Is this hell?"

Ning Tao, with a smirk on his lips, said in a dark tone, "This isn't hell, but it's somewhere like hell. You have only one chance at redemption. If you don't take this chance, you're really going to hell."

Jiang Yilong's eyes glistened with tears as he cried, "I don't want to die. I don't want to die... "

"Be quiet!" Ning Tao snapped.

The wicked must be treated with the wicked means.

Jiang Yilong stopped crying at once.

Then Ning Tao added, "Jiang Yilong, let me tell you a little bit about your situation. You're paralyzed as the result of a stroke, and if your family take good care of you, you probably have two years to live. However, you have to stay in bed all the time, and you will be incontinent, so your excrement will inevitably get on the bed, and you will develop bedsores. Finally, you will stink..."

Out of worries, Jiang Yilong's tears flowed hard, but he didn't dare speak.

Ning Tao continued to rub salt into his wound. "The premise of what I'm saying is that you have family willing to take care of you. In fact, no one wants to look after you. When you got rich, you abandoned your ex-wife and daughter. Now you have a stroke and are paralyzed, but your ex-wife didn't come to see you. Your daughter did have come, but she doesn't care about you. She came to see you because it's her obligation as a daughter. Your present wife will not take care of you at all; she wishes you dead. If you die, your property is hers."

Jiang Yilong sobbed, "I regret it, but it's too late. I'm sorry for Jiang Hao and her mom, and for all the people I hurt... What's the use of making all that money? I'm dying, but I don't have any family who really cares about me..."

"It's not too late. You still have a chance," Ning Tao stated.

Jiang Yilong looked at Ning Tao in surprise. "What did you say?"

"I said it was not too late," Ning Tao said. "I can cure you. In this clinic, you have a chance to redeem yourself and renew yourself."

Jiang Yilong looked at Ning Tao with suspicion in his eyes. He had seen and heard what happened in his ward. How could someone like him easily believe that a senior who wasn't even a doctor could cure him?

"You don't believe me, do you?" Ning Tao had read his mind.

Jiang Yilong was very smart. He knew his situation very well, so he would not show his suspicion on his face even if he indeed didn't believe Ning Tao. He just looked at him and didn't say anything.

Ning Tao took out the clinic ledger, touched Jiang Yilong's hand with it and showed it to Jiang Yilong.

One sin of evil intention after another showed up, making Jiang Yilong gape and shudder. At this moment, he had to trust Ning Tao, because some evil things that even Jiang Hao's mother didn't know about were shown on the bamboo slips!

Ning Tao closed the ledger without saying anything to Jiang Yilong. He took a knife for cutting medicinal materials and sharpened it on the guardrail of the hospital bed while murmuring to himself, "The damn hellhound has been eating a lot lately, and he told me he wanted to eat human hearts..."

The old, mysterious clinic echoed with the sound of knives being sharpened.

The cold sweat kept gushing out of Jiang Yilong's forehead. Within ten seconds he was devastated. "What do I have to do to get the opportunity that you talked about?" he asked.

Ning Tao put away his knife and coldly said, "This clinic has its own rules. I'll give you a prescription, and you sign it, and then I'll cure your stroke. But remember, as soon as you sign my prescription, you'll have to carry it out meticulously. Otherwise, you'll end up worse than stroke and paralysis. Your life will become a living hell!"

"I... I will sign it," Jiang Yilong quavered.

Ning Tao went back to the desk, took out the ledger and prescription, correspondingly writing down the terms of eliminating sin according to each sin on the ledger. For example, he should kneel down in front of Jiang Hao and her mother, apologize to them, and return the property he transferred before he divorced Jiang Hao's mother; He should compensate the villagers whose houses were demolished forcibly, and donate money to orphanages and nursing homes...

It took Ning Tao 15 minutes to finish the prescription. Then he brought it to Jiang Yilong.

Jiang Yilong turned blue at the sight of the prescription. "Is... isn't it to give away all my fortune?" he asked.

"You got all your money from evil acts," Ning Tao denounced, his eyes holding a stern look. "All your property was stolen from others. You should not have gotten it. This prescription is for you to make amends to those you have hurt, and to take away your sins and to save your life. You can either sign it or rot in your sickbed. It's up to you."

"Can you leave me some property?"

"No way!" Ning Tao barked. Then he took the knife for cutting medicine.

Jiang Yilong panicked and cried, "Wait... I'll sign!"

Ning Tao cut Jiang Yilong's finger with the knife.

Blood gushed from Jiang Yilong's finger, but he could not feel pain.

Ning Tao grabbed Jiang Yilong's hand, and the bleeding finger, and then asked in a deep voice, "Jiang Yilong, once you sign it, you can't back out. Are you sure you want to sign it?"

Jiang Yilong bit his lip and said, "Better a living coward than a dead hero... I... Sign!"

Ning Tao signed Jiang Yilong's name on the prescription for the sin of evil intention with Jiang Yilong's blood finger.

The instant Jiang Yilong's name had just been written, the same thing appeared on the ledger, one after the other, verbatim.

After studying it during the daytime, Ning Tao knew this was the bill. Jiang Yilong signed the prescription pact in blood, and every time he completed one term, it would disappear. If Jiang Yilong refused to do so, it was up to Ning Tao, the go-between of good and evil, to intervene.

There was a deadline in prescription pact written by Ning Tao. Jiang Yilong had half a month to eliminate all sins on the prescription pact.

Ning Tao had a short window of time because he was only 29 days away from paying the rent. He could have set a generous time limit, but would he then have a life to intervene?

"I, I have signed it. Cure me quickly." Jiang Yilong was worried that Ning Tao might back out.

Ning Tao coldly said, "Don't worry. I warn you, you must complete all contents within half a month, otherwise, I will let you live rather die!"

"I will. Cure me please," Jiang Yilong pleaded.

Ning Tao picked up a Primary Elixir and put it to Jiang Yilong's mouth.

Jiang Yilong hurriedly opened his mouth and ate the Primary Elixir.

The good-evil tripod with a human face suddenly let out a weird voice, like the cry of thousands of ghosts. The smoke in the tripod was coming out faster and thicker. Wisps of smoke were winding toward Jiang Yilong, and in a twinkling of an eye, he and the bed were engulfed by the smoke.

"If I can survive, I'm going to figure out the history of this clinic and the secret of the good-evil tripod. I'm not going to be controlled by this clinic like Chen Pingdao who had to fool the next owner in order to get out. I'm going to get out of here, open and aboveboard!" Ning Tao swore it to himself.

Jiang Yilong suddenly grunted and passed out.

Ning Tao opened the convenient door and moved the bed to its original place. He took out his phone and checked the time. 52 minutes had passed since he had taken Jiang Yilong to the clinic, and he had eight minutes left on his appointment with Jiang Hao. He then put the phone away and went to the bathroom to get a towel, wet it and wipe the blood lock off the wall. Finally, he also brought back the nightstand, which was against the door, and put it in its place.

He had done what he should have done. What would happen next?

Ning Tao didn't know.
