Dorian's sword finally collided with the spear. The gangsters on the side were holding their breath, they knew their lives depended on what would happen during the next 15 seconds.

As for the woman and Dorian, the first was too busy to muster all her strength in her arms to care about the sword's trajectory, while Dorian was making ways to kill her in his mind. He just had to stop his sword and stab a little lower and she would be dead.

This would be impossible for the average person, but for him who owned the [Force Share] skill, it was easy. Though, he didn't, and his sword hit the spear.

But what happened next, no one expected it. The woman flinched, she was pushed back, although she didn't fall to the ground, but she was unable to keep her spear and it fell to the ground. But Dorian didn't attack, because he couldn't.

His sword… had actually broken! When it hit the spear, it broke into two!

Dorian looked at his broken sword in dismay. After a moment, he shook his head and dropped the remains of the sword to the ground.

He began walking toward the woman and said "You still haven't won. My body is as much of a weapon than my sword."

She tried to pick up her spear, but she fell to the ground. Then, even her willpower was unable to keep her awake, and she fell unconscious.

Dorian stood above her, hesitating about what he should do. Should he kill her, because she couldn't stand the ten minutes, or should he let her live because his weapon broke?

After a moment, he said with a sigh "I guess it is fate… Let's see, will fate protect you to the very end?"

He picked her up and threw her over his shoulder, and then looked at the remaining gangsters. One of them was about to speak when one of the shattered parts of Dorian's sword entrusted into his throat.

The two other tried to flee, but they couldn't go far before getting killed too by the flying sword. Then, Dorian made one of their Grey ranked swords fly over to him, putting it in his sheath.

Dorian made his way through the city, carrying the girl, heading towards the cave. There, he passed by the spirits, who bowed to him, and walked down the cave.

He found the two Sadunites sitting crossed legged on the ground, probably training their mind arts. They both opened their eyes, looking curiously at the woman across Dorian's shoulder.

Every time he saw them, Dorian always had the same reaction seeing their flame pupils, it really was too weird to look at for a human from Earth.

Jok'ii asked "Who is she? Your mate?" Dorian wanted to roll his eyes until he understood he actually wasn't joking. So he replied "No, she isn't. I just found her interesting."

Jun remarked "If you don't heal her she is going to die." Dorian shook his head and replied "I want to see if her will to live is strong enough to survive this. If she is able to wake up then I'll find something to heal her."

The two looked at him strangely before saying in unison "Weird human rituals…" Dorian shook his head and put the woman on the ground before sitting crossed legged himself, starting to work on his mind arts while meditating.

Meditating allowed his mind to rest, so he didn't have to sleep. And even when he worked on his mind arts, he would only use a part of his mind to practice, while the rest recovered. When the part practicing was too tired to go on, he would send it to rest and use another part to practice.

Splitting his mind this way was something he normally couldn't do, but being inside his mind made it way simpler.

The night passed quickly, the three unaware of the passing hours. But thanks to the spirits guarding the house, Dorian knew when the sun rose.

That meant this was already his 11th day within this world. If everything went well, every Stinger should have arrived during the night, and only a day was left until the grand battle.

Dorian decided he would spend the rest of the day in the cave, training. He knew that today, even if he got out he wouldn't find anyone to fight. That's because the whole city would be tensed for the day.

The ordinary citizens wouldn't see anything, and would live their lives as usual, but the forces from both the City Lord's Mansion and Red Scorpion Gang would hide deep in their caves, preparing themselves for the final battle.

So even if he got out, no one would come attack him, there was no point in going out. That's why for the rest of the day he would stay in the cave…

On the other side of the city, below what looked like an ordinary house, a big cave existed. Within it, was a long rectangular table. Around it, 10 people sat, with four empty chairs. At each end of the table, was a man in a red robe, and a woman dressed under a veil opposite of it.

Those were the remaining Stingers, as well as Lucie. The Stinger at one end of the table asked with a calm voice "What happened to our brothers, Magician?"

Lucie replied without the slightest tension "A man appeared recently, who calls himself the Butcher. This man killed the Stingers posted here. But he isn't to be worried about, he used tricks to kill your men."

The man nodded without an emotion and a woman on the side said "Captain, once we are finished with that pig Marcus, will we hunt this Butcher?"

The man looked at Lucie and asked "Is he with Marcus?" Lucie shook her head and replied "You won't be able to recruit him, he bend on killing us all."

The man nodded "A pity, we will have to kill him, and our brothers' lives have been ended in vain. Magician, what about Marcus troops?"

Lucie replied "I have killed as many of his troops, now there only remains 11 Knights in his camp, including Marcus himself."

The man nodded and another Stinger said "That fool, he thinks the Red Scorpion is the only one who have reached the second level. But when Captain erupts with his level two might, this Marcus will have no way to win."

The rest of the Stingers laughed, but the Captain admonished them "Don't be complacent, there still remains the threat known as the Butcher. He may have hidden his strength. Until the artifact hasn't been secured, none is allowed to slack off."

The others shut up and nodded. Under her veil, Lucie wanted to curse Celevaria for choosing an intelligent Captain, she would rather have dealt with an idiot.

In another part of the city, within the City Lord's Mansion.

Like the Red Scorpion Gang, or Celevaria Kingdom forces, Marcus' men sat around a table, except this one was round.

Marcus drunk from a bottle of wine, the rest of the room silent. After a moment, he stopped drinking and said with a rough voice and a fool breath "Charles, that Dorian kid… Are you sure he won't act against us?"

Charles, who dressed in a black leather armor, replied "I am sure of it. He weirdly insists on accomplishing the mission I gave him when I first saw him, he won't stop until the gang is destroyed. Weren't it for it, I don't believe he would attack anyone. We haven't harmed him or his interests in any way, so he won't stand in our way."

Marcus laughed, stopping in the middle to burp, and said "Good, you did a good job. Robert, what do you think of our chances to win tomorrow?"

A dark skinned man replied "My Lord, I believe it shouldn't be a problem for us to win. Because of the Red Scorpion's constant attacks, our forces have diminished, but we still have more level 1 Knights than them, and with Lord Charles here we have two Rank 2 Knights, while they only have one."

Marcus finished his wine and smashed the bottle before saying loudly "Good, go and prepare for tomorrow's battle! Robert, you stay with me and help me finish this bottle!" Another bottle appeared in his hand, and the rest departed.

As he got out Charles kept a straight face. But inside, he was sneering at the stupidity of this drunkard.
