When they were in the port, Ye Jiao could finally understand why Qin Zheng said that they were late. The number of ships alone was already enough to cover the entire place. There was nothing that they could see aside from the ship and another ship and another ship again.

"It looks as if they're ready for war."

"It's a war. War against one another," Qin Zheng added. "Where's the ship that your master bought?"

"Over there."

The ship that Zhan Jing picked was not that big, but it was slim in built. The intention of the design was to make sure that the ship could maneuver quickly and at the same time, have higher speed because of its smaller built.

"You're slow," Zhan Jing said as he pointed to the ship. "Get in."

"Yes, Master!"

"Yes."

The two of them got inside quietly as Zhan Jing began to steer the steering wheel. He quickly brought it away from the other ship and departed to the island. On the other hand, Ye Jiao and Qin Zheng were watching the other ships from the window.

"That's a large ship," Ye Jiao pointed to a large yet quick ship.

"It belongs to the imperial family," Qin Zheng explained. "They must have hired the best ship in the city to make sure they could reach the island without any harm to them because they're all important people."

The ship didn't depart the very first, but it quickly overtook other ships around it. Ye Jiao noticed that many other ships were also traveling around them. They didn't seem to be trying to fight against one another as they just focused on their pursuit to the Spring Island.

They had the tacit agreement that they wouldn't fight on the air.

As time passed, Ye Jiao noticed the water around them started to change. Her master's voice suddenly traveled to them.

"Hold on to something."

Splash!

The waves hit the side of the ship, tilting it to the other side. Ye Jiao hurriedly hugged a pillar nearby while Qin Zheng stayed on the corner of the room. The ship shook badly and continued to rock around as they traveled. From the window, Ye Jiao could see the heavy. It threatened to eat them all alive as it kept on hitting the ship.

Time passed.

Storm continued to rage on outside the ship while Zhan Jing maneuvered the ship. The two of them stayed quiet in their place as they didn't have any intention to move. Ye Jiao's hand had just started to feel numb when she could feel the shaking lessened. Not long after that, it was quiet and the ship slowed down.

"It's finally quiet," Ye Jiao sighed and sat down on the floor. Her hands felt so numb.

Qin Zheng nodded. He stood up. "The island's appearance disrupts the water current. But this is not over yet."

"What?"

In the next moment, Ye Jiao could feel a sudden repelling force. Her body felt like it was pushed by a tidal wave as she hugged the pillar once more. It felt so painful as the pressure covered her entire body. Even though she already used her own Eon Energy to counter it, it didn't seem to be very successful.

The pressure lasted for several seconds before it disappeared. Ye Jiao blinked her eyes in wariness, worrying whether there would be another one like that or not.

"There's only one barrier, so you don't have to worry so much."

"You look fine even though you have to face that barrier too," Ye Jiao frowned as she looked at the young man before her.

Qin Zheng smiled. "I'm Eon Energy Master rank 3, so naturally I have a better barrier around me. Besides, it's not that unbearable for me."

"How enviable…"

"This barrier will prevent anyone who hasn't reached rank 2 from reaching the island. Even under the weakened state, it's still very strong and those lower than rank 2 wouldn't be able to stand against it."

Ye Jiao nodded in understanding. As she had experienced it herself, she knew how painful it would be for Eon Energy Master rank 1. After all, they couldn't cover their body with Eon Energy like what Eon Energy Master rank 2 could do.

"Let's get out."

"Is it alright?"

"Yes."

Following behind Qin Zheng, Ye Jiao made her way to the deck. The ship had slowed down considerably, and Ye Jiao could see the island very clearly in this distance. It was a beautiful island with a lot of trees covering the front. On the back, Ye Jiao could see a rock mountain standing tall. It looked shining under the ray of light from the sun.

Not far from them, there was a beach. It was the great place to land their ship as the large ship that belonged to the imperial family was already there.

"It's beautiful!" Ye Jiao exclaimed.

Qin Zheng didn't reply, but he had to agree. The island itself looked enchanting despite the countless dangers that lurked inside.

"Master, are we going to land there?" Ye Jiao pointed to the beach.

"No, we're not," Zhan Jing replied. "I'll head into the forest area and find a secluded place. There's no one who can protect the ship and if we let it stay on the beach, no one will know whether we can see it again or not."

Ah, she had completely forgotten about it. There were a lot of people who were going to the island and it wouldn't be easy to stay on the beach unscathed. If they didn't have anyone who can protect the ship, it would be better if they didn't leave it unattended because some people might take advantage of it or destroy it to make sure that they couldn't leave.

Zhan Jing headed into the other side of the island as more ships appeared from the barrier. They traveled for a long time until Zhan Jing stopped on the shore. Those areas were completely filled with trees.

"We've arrived. Get down first, children."

"Yes."

After they had gotten out, Zhan Jing utilized his Eon Energy. He controlled the earth underneath the ship and raised it so high with steep land on the side that headed to the lake. Afterwards, Zhan Jing used his energy to pull some trees to cover the ship, making it hard for people to see it from outside.

"Master, do you have to pull it so high?"

"This is the way to make sure that no one can see it," Zhan Jing said calmly. "No one should think of stopping their ship near here."

With how her master raised the land near her, it would be a miracle if they still could land. The distance alone would make it difficult for them to reach this place.

"Now, let's get going."

"Yes."
