"The class is not over."

"It is already over for us!"

Qin Zheng didn't even bother looking at his senior sister. "If you have time to quarrel, you should think of how to make Lu Wan breakthrough faster. He had just entered Rank 3 not long ago."

Lin Cai's face paled immediately. She understood what Qin Zheng meant. With raging emotion, she ran out of the room. It was the time for her to look for the principal and complained about Qin Zheng again.

Ye Jiao frowned. "Why am I not getting Senior Sister Lin instead?"

"Do you prefer her over me?"

"Yes."

Qin Zheng lowered his book and glanced over to Ye Jiao. "You're already in rank 3 for some time, but you need much more Eon Energy compared with ordinary people. Even at the fastest, you still need a few more months until you reach the middle stage."

Ye Jiao's eyes widened. She did realize that she needed much more Eon Energy compared to ordinary people, but she didn't expect that it would take her that long to reach the middle stage. After all, her progress has been pretty quick so far.

"It normally takes 3-4 years to reach rank 4 from rank 3," Qi Huan reminded. "Only a few people can be an exception."

"2-3 years for S talent," Qin Zheng corrected. "And it'll be much lower for those with innate talent."

Innate talent.

Even though Ye Jiao suspected herself of having innate talent, she knew that it might not be as powerful as she guessed. After all, she was still unclear about whether this element actually existed as a path for martial arts.

Chen Suyin finished reading the list and looked over to the students. "Those students at the late stage please stay behind as I have a few words to say. The others may return back to rest."

"Yes!"

"Thank you, Teacher Chen!"

The students burst out of the classroom. Qin Zheng put away his book and looked at Ye Jiao. "Let's go to the arena."

"Why?"

"Did you forget that you will have a duel with me?"

"Of course not," Ye Jiao grinned and stood up. She followed behind Qin Zheng with excitement. It has been some time since she last fought against Qin Zheng, which made her wonder how far their progress has been.

Lu Wan groaned. "Wait for me, I'll watch your fight."

However, Qin Zheng instead quickened his pace and left Lu Wan far behind. The young man had no choice but to drag his weary body to match up against Qin Zheng's speed while cursing internally.

The arena was located not far from the classroom. Qin Zheng was already familiar with the layout, so Ye Jiao could follow him with ease. Looking at the large arenas, she noticed that Qin Zheng headed towards one of them. A teacher was standing there, watching guards of the place.

"Teacher," Qin Zheng nodded politely. "I need a private arena to have a practice match with my juniors."

"Sure," the teacher passed a token to the young man. "That's for the second room. Do you want me to record the result?"

"No need."

Ye Jiao followed after Qin Zheng as the young man began to walk to the right side. "What's that record?"

"That's for the points. Not only new students, but old students also have points, but it's tallied every three months. Of course, more points meant more resources, but as Elite Disciple, it's not really important because we already have a lot," Qin Zheng shrugged.

"Didn't you need a lot of resources to train?"

"The array in your residence is already good enough. However, no one will reject Eon Energy stones."

"Eon Energy Stones?"

"It's the currency here. Basically, it's just stones with Eon Energy inside, which can be used to trade and also to train because of the amount there. It's usually divided into low grade, medium grade, and lastly high grade. Even though you can accumulate much more Eon Energy with them, it's still far better to use the ones in our surroundings naturally."

The two of them entered the room, and Qin Zheng stood in the middle with Ye Jiao in front of him. He smiled. "Shall we start?"

Swish! Swish! Swish!

There was no greeting whatsoever as Ye Jiao jerked her body to the right side. Three knives passed near her face and chest at high speed. She knew that Qin Zheng must have gone faster, but the difference was too much.

Clang!

Qin Zheng took out his sword as Ye Jiao charged at him directly. Her dagger clashed with a loud screech as he pushed her back. Somersaulting midair, Ye Jiao positioned herself and sidestepped to the left.

Swish! Swish!

Two knives passed by her as Ye Jiao stomped on the ground and propelled herself against Qin Zheng.

Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!

Sound of metal clashing reverberated in the arena. The two of them were close combat fighters. One with a sword as his weapon while the other one used a dagger. However, Ye Jiao had to be wary as Qin Zheng kept a lot of hidden weapons underneath his sleeves.

Clang! Swish!

"Just how many knives do you have?"

"There's no way I'll tell them," Qin Zheng chuckled. He noticed the incoming attack and utilized his movements technique. He appeared behind Ye Jiao in that instant.

Clang! Slash!

'Ugh!'

Ye Jiao managed to jump to the front and swung her dagger in another direction, but Qin Zheng was quicker than her. Her shoulder was wounded from his attack just now.

"Oh, you evade it?" Qin Zheng sounded surprised yet happy at the same time.

"If I don't, I believe that my arm is going to snap," Ye Jiao laughed derisively.

Qin Zheng smiled. "I wonder."

The two of them dashed from the ground once again as their blades clashed in the middle of the arena.

Clang! Clang! Clang!
