Waking up I was in a daze and feeling cold. Looking around I knew that I was alone once more. Grasping at Nicks side of the bed which still held warmth I curled onto myself hoping that the warmth will give me comfort. Opening my mouth I said to know one, "Alone once again." Sitting up I removed myself from the comforts of the sheets. Stepping forward I reached into the closet and slipped onto a simple knee-high skirt and tank. With that, I stepped out the doors into the bathroom. Turning on the cold water I stuck my head under the flow. Woken up I dried my hair and braided my waist long hair over my shoulder. Reaching over I powdered my cheeks and glossed my lips. With that, I stepped out of the bathroom and headed into the kitchen. Reaching over I grabbed my phone which was sitting on the counter and slipped into my purse which sat upon the counter. Reaching up I grabbed a box of cereal and reached into the fridge grabbing milk. Grabbing a bowl and started to eat cereal. Once done eating I went back into the bathroom and rinsed my mouth. Reapplying the goss I headed outside and looked up to the early dawn. With my purse hanging across my shoulder I grabbed my phone and looked at the time. In bold lettering, I read that it was 5:55 a.m. so I looked up and hummed "My way" by Ava max. Heading to my car I sat down in the driver's seat and headed out.

Driving along I headed to a library with the windows down I took a breath of air and felt worn down. Stopping at the library I stepped out and grabbed a file and entered the building. Inside the librarian smiled and walked over to hug me. Outstretching my arms during the hug, I said, "Aunt Linda, it has been a while." Smiling and stepping out of the hug my Aunt smiled at me and said, "Doll although I am the one who took care of you while your father was in the hospital you don't have to call me aunt" Looking at her and pretending to contemplate, "Nah, I think that title suits you since I have no other living family." Snickering she said, "Although we aren't blood-related you still are family." With that, I nodded knowing that what she said is true. Turning around Auntie walked towards a desk that was in an office connected to the main part of the building. Following after her she turned around with a greedy expression and asked, "Have you finished writing the book? there have been many requests for your next book. Besides your last book almost made 1 million dollars. We need that book." Looking at my aunt I almost yelled at her from anger, "I don't care about the requests, besides you almost sound greedy for that 10% of the money that I promised you for every book. I know that you want to make more money, but still, you have no right to sound so rude." Slamming down the file I said in a stern voice, "Yes, I did finish the book, but don't ever speak to me that way again." Looking frightened of my expression of anger she shied back and her greed disappeared and was replaced by terror. Storming out I calmed myself down. I knew that she had greed within her and wants more money, but it is still frustrating. Although I didn't want to show anger to make her back down I always show anger to make her snap out of it. Seeing her frightened expression almost made me depressed. I don't wish to scare others, but in order to keep some people in check, I act as if I am something I am not. Taking a breath I tried to steady myself back to earth. Knowing that I was calm I thought for a while and realized I have forgotten to take my meds. Slapping my forehead I sat down on a bench and looked at the sky. Feeling like an idiot I stared at the sky and took a breath. The sun shone lightly across the land. With that, I stood up and headed across the street. There was a donut shop with a donut on the sign and was an actual donut stuck to the donut. Thinking to myself I thought, "Did they try to make the shot?" Why I thought that I have no clue, but still it is an interesting thought. Stepping inside I heard the jingle of the doorbell and heard a young man say, "Welcome, how may I help you?" The person who greeted me was young looking to be in his 20's. His eyes shone youth and ignorance he almost seemed like a little kid. Smiling at him I asked, "You new here?" Nodding his head he said, "Yes I am originally from Arkansas." Looking at him I decided to give some advice, "I would be careful here if I were you." Nodding his head in understanding he asked again, "How can I help you?" Smiling I pointed at one of the chocolate donuts and said, "I would like this one." Smiling he asked, "Anything else?" Shaking my head I said, "I'm good." Looking at the register He said the price and I got the donut. Walking out I walked to my car. Slipping into my car I stared at the wheel and I felt dizzy.

It took me a while to get to where I needed to be at home. I was running around cleaning the house. I took my meds since it was early enough. Cleaning the ceiling the dust bunny's started to vanish over the course of me cleaning. Smiling at my accomplishment I sat down on the couch forgetting I was covered in most of the dust. Relaxing a bit I felt upset over the fact that I didn't do that earlier. Standing back up I saw an imprint of my body on the couch made of dust. Frowning I grabbed the vacuum and vacuumed the couch. Going into the bedroom I slipped out of my clothes and released the braid and went to take a shower. In the shower, I felt the water streaking down my body making me feel a little cleaner. Scrubbing myself I started to smell of vanilla. My hair clings to myself and I started to remove it from my back and scrubbed the ends of my hair. Rinsing myself off I stepped out of the shower and felt cold. Shivering I wrapped myself in multiple layers of towels. Feeling dry and warm I stepped out and slipped on lingerie. Once in that, I slipped on sweatpants and a tank. Looking at myself I forgot to use wipes to clean the makeup off realizing that I grabbed makeup wipes and removed the remnants of the makeup. Looking at myself I looked practically dead. making faces at myself I felt like I was an idiot but at that moment nothing mattered. Looking at my reflection I saw what I was not. Looking down at my hand I touched the engagement ring and smiled. I am what I am currently.
