Kang Jun and Lu AnLing had spent a lot of time in their room even after they had finished having sex. They did not leave it.
Today, the kids were a bit quiet since they were going to meet Lu Yuxi again, as well as attend Elder Tang's birthday party, and so, Rong Lihua and Rong Xin spent their time getting the two little rascals ready.
It was nice and calm. An interesting change from their day to day lives.
As she thought about this, Lu AnLing touched her stomach.
"Do you think we're going to have twins again?" Lu AnLing asked curiously.
Looking at her as he put on his white shirt over his toned shoulders, Kang Jun walked over to Lu AnLing and then he put his hand on hers.
"Do you not want twins?" Kang Jun asked softly.
Lu AnLing shrugged.
"It's not really about wanting twins of not wanting. Giving birth to twins the first time was very painful... but seeing Yuxi and Mei Xue, now, the pain feels like nothing at all." As she said this, Lu AnLing smiled to herself, and then she turned to look Kang Jun in the eyes. "I'd love our child no matter if they are twins or not or no what gender they are. Because it's a child between you and me!"
"Good." Kang Jun said as he kissed her on the forehead. Though as he did this, Lu AnLing's expression twisted slightly.
Lu AnLing: "But..."
"But?" Kang Jun asked with his eyebrows raised.
"What if we end up with a wild child? We have so many children already, a wild one would be very hard to handle!" Lu AnLing said with total conviction, then she pouted and said, "I bet both Yuxi and Mei Xue take after you when you were a kid."
Cocking his head and smirking Kang Jun approached his wife slightly and then he wrapped his hands around her waist and said, "Why do you say that?"
"Well..." Smiling up at him innocently, Lu AnLing then said, "I was a bit wild as a kid... my dad always had a lot of trouble with me. What would we do if he, she, he or they end up being real rascals? Like how I was as a child."
"Then we'll love them and discipline them as needed." Kang Jun said seriously before he got back to changing.
He had always been a good father figure. Even when he was just a replacement father for Kang Mingyu and Kang Mei Xue. He had always been a very loving but disciplined man when he was around. He wanted the two to be loved but not spoiled... with a man like Kang Jun as their father, they were bound to be upstanding people but The only problem was, Kang Jun didn't know how it was like to see your child for the first time and raise them from infancy. To have that moment when you see the child and think, "Wow, that's mine..."
Lu AnLing feared that the man would fall in love with his newborn child and then spoil them rotten. If that were to happen, their baby would have their father, the most amazing godlike man Lu AnLing had ever seen, wrapped around their little finger...
Lu AnLing didn't know whether to laugh or cry but before these thoughts brought her to daydream, Kang Jun spoke.
"I heard that your father had chronic headaches due to his accidents, is that true?" Kang Jun said as he put his red tie around his neck.
Seeing him do this, Lu AnLing walked over to him and began to fix his tie.
Kang Jun could do it himself but Lu AnLing liked doing it for him. It felt like she was a wife on a sitcom or something.
As she tied a Windsor knot, Lu AnLing bit her lip and then she said, "Yes, my aunt says it happens when he thinks too much."
Hearing this, Kang Jun frowned slightly.
Kang Jun: "Rather than when he thinks too much, I think it might be when he tries to remember his past. But you need to test this theory."
Lu AnLing nodded to Kang Jun's statement.
Due to her happiness in finding out she was pregnant, she had almost forgotten that today was a special day. She needed to be calm, collected and vigilant. Today she was going onto a battle field...

As Kang Jun and Lu AnLing were getting ready, there was a sudden knock at the front door of Kang manor.
There, Rong Xin who had just brought Kang Mei Xue and Kang Mingyu downstairs left the two kids with their great-grandfather and then left to open the door.
Once he opened it, it revealed Xu Shen, Lu Xiaoling, Grandma Lu, Grandpa Lu and Lu Yuxi.
Shocked at how big Kang Manor was, Lu Yuxi's eyes widened and then she walked into the house without a care.
"Hello, second little miss." Rong Xin said robotically but kindly in his own way.
"Hi!" Lu Yuxi exclaimed, then she looked around the entrance before she looked back up to Rong Xin. "Where's Mei Mei and Mingyu?"
"They're in the living room. I'll accompany you." Rong Xin said as he took her hand. He didn't even greet any of the others except for giving Grandma Lu a head nod, out of respect for the fact that she was his grandmother sister. Greeting guests was not in his job description. His job only concerned serving and protecting Kang Jun's precious people and this was exactly what he was doing.
As Rong Xin brought Lu Yuxi to the living room, the four adults followed close behind them.
As Lu Xiaoling and Xu Shen looked around Kang Manor, they couldn't believe their eyes.
Frankly, at first, the two had not been sure if Lu AnLing would be able to invite them but to their surprise, Inviting her whole family was not hard in the slightest.
All Lu AnLing had to do was ask Tang Bingyi about it.
Hearing that Lu AnLing's family wanted to come to see her perform, Tang Bingyi, who, despite still feeling slightly embarrassed about how she had acted while drunk, beamed. "Of course you can bring your family! Just tell me how many invitations you'll need and I'll put them on the guest list.
Lu AnLing smiled as she heard this. "Thanks, Bingyi, you're a lifesaver!"
"It's not a problem. The party will end really quickly after the winner of Trailblazers is announced, since grandfather hates big events, so if I'm not mistaken, he's invited the whole Kang family over as both an apology to you for Yiling's actions, and because he wants to share his birthday with his closest friend. I'll ask grandfather if it's okay if your family can come too." Tang Bingyi said monotonously, as she simultaneously sent a text message to her mother to ask her grandfather if it was okay.
Hearing this, Lu AnLing was a bit worried. She had not planned on her family getting too close to the Tang's and Kang's considering how complicated her families history was with the two.
She had really only planned on using her mother as a fail safe, but she hadn't realized that wanting to invite her mother would have sparked the beginning of a possible brawl.
Lu AnLing: "You don't need to—"
"No, no! I insist. Grandfather really feels bad. If you reject this, you'll be offending him!" Tang Bingyi said seriously.
Hearing this, Lu AnLing had no choice but to agree to Tang Bingyi's offer.
