As the Kang and Lu families gathered, the Tang Household was completely disconnected.
Everyone was home, but they were all doing their own things.
Elder Tang, who had woken up a bit sullen, was just spending his time cooped up in his office. In his old age, he hated huge parties but due to Tang Yiling's stupidity, he had no choice but to entertain guests.
The old man wasn't sure where his children and grandchildren were, but at this time he was a bit too depressed, so he didn't care.
Ever since Tang Lang and Tang Yian had been kicked out of the family, his children were a bit cold to him. Looking at the photograph of his deceased wife, Liane, Elder Tang just sighed.
"Oh, how I wish you were here by my side... you would have handled these kinds of matters well." Elder Tang said as he touched the frame gently with genuine love.
While the old man wallowed a bit in his sadness, Tang Yiling was preparing for the performance. Tang Yiling had, at first, just wanted to be a songwriter. In her mind, she wasn't much of a performer or a singer but due to how annoyed she was at her father, she decided to try her hand at singing during this competition.
Tang Yian had always said that he remembered Tang Yiling's beautiful voice in the back of his mind. She was' talented!' Or so he had said, and yet, Tang Yiling never quite believed this. For the longest time, she had avoided singing but ever since her fight with her dad, In her room, she had practice singing.
At first, she was horrendous but as the days went by she improved steadily, until, in her opinion, she was amazing.
Due to how quickly she learned things quickly, and she was able to suit the songs that she and Ning Jie were going to sing to her own voice without a problem, Tang Yiling began to believe she was a genius.
"Let's see if that bitch, Lu AnLing's, voice is better than mine now!" Tang Yiling cursed as she put on her yellow mini dress.
After she was done, there was a sudden knock on the door.
Without waiting for her to tell them to come in, Tang Luoyi burst into the room. In his hand, he held his phone and smiled triumphantly as he looked at it.
"I'm done with the editing, and this is good!" Tang Luoyi said as he closed the door behind him and then took a seat on Tang Yiling's bed. "Lu AnLing seems to be leading my dear elder sister on a path of mutual destruction."
Hearing this, Tang Yiling wanted to smile, but instead, she frowned and said, "I'm getting ready, get out!"
Tang Luoyi smirked as he made himself comfortable on her bed. "Get ready, don't mind me."
Tang Yiling: "How can I 'not mind you'? You're intruding."
Tang Luoyi shook his head.
"I'm not intruding, I'm here because we need to discuss our game plan." Tang Luoyi said.
Hearing this, Tang Yiling sighed and then she began applying some makeup. "Fine, but be quick about it. What's the plan?"
Tang Luoyi: "Well, I was thinking that we should reveal the video at dinner."
After hearing Tang Luoyi say this, Tang Yiling stopped applying her eyeliner and then she turned to Tang Luoyi with a questioning expression, "Weren't we going to play it at the party?"
Hearing those words come out of Tang Yiling's mouth, Tang Luoyi's face twisted.
"Are you stupid? If we did that then grandfather would be embarrassed. He would surely know that it was either you or I who did this and then, rather than being annoyed at AnLing and Bingyi, he would be annoyed at us!" Tang Luoyi spoke logically for once in his life. "I want to get the company from my sister, not be expelled from the Tang family. So the best thing to do is wait for the dinner tonight and then we'll show the clip."
Tang Yiling began to pout. "Wouldn't he be mad either way? We'll be showing this in from of the Kang's... Lu AnLing is their daughter in law."
"Well if we're lucky, this will show to the Kang's that Lu AnLing is not an ideal daughter-in-law..." Tang Luoyi started.
As the boy said this, Tang Yiling's eyes brightened.
"Or even better, it'll prove to Kang Jun that Lu AnLing is a snake and he'll divorce her!" Tang Yiling said happily as she imagined victory in her mind.

Today was her last day of peace. After today, she would be ruined and the problems she had caused would come to life.
