Despite getting ready early, Tang Yiling had planned on being fashionable late to the party. So she had decided to go to Ning Jie's house to practice their song first, and then go to the party later and so, this left her with a good time to show her grace and beauty to the crowd of people that would be gathered at the venue.
Unlike her, Lu AnLing did not plan on making such a grand entrance. To begin with, she didn't see a point, but truly, this was because she didn't want to come to Elder Tang's Birthday party when it was crowded.
Lu AnLing was pregnant now, and so she didn't want to do anything to jeopardize her child's safety, so she walked into the venue an hour and a half before the festivities were going to begin, with Kang Jun by her side; serving as both lover and bodyguard.
With her hand in his, Kang Jun led Lu AnLing inside the room, not even paying attention to the man at the front of the door who had awkwardly warned them that the event hadn't started yet and even asked for invitations.

Once inside, Lu AnLing had immediately laid eyes on Tang Bingyi who was working with the event coordinator to make sure that everything went off without a hitch.
Tang Bingyi was completely concentrated on talking with the event coordinator that she didn't even notice Kang Jun and Lu AnLing approaching them, but the event coordinator, whose eyes had suddenly moved, had seen Kang Jun and she had begun to regress due to the binding pressure the man exuded.
Seeing this, Tang Bingyi turned to look at Lu AnLing. At first, it was like Tang Bingyi had seen a mirage, so her eyes were a little wide and her lips slightly parted as she gazed upon Lu AnLing, who's dress shimmered and gave off a slight sound which reminded Tang Bingyi of the rustling of waves.

Even the event coordinator was mesmerized but then, she looked at Tang Bingyi's shocked expression and froze.
There were some who believed that Tang Bingyi was in love with Kang Jun, and when a small bit of news got out about Kang Jun having a lover, most people had believed it was Tang Bingyi. "We came early to avoid crowds," Kang Jun said simply.

Hearing what Lu AnLing had said, Tang Bingyi giggled a bit. "Yes, we've been spending a bit of time together. It's nice since we're both usually awake around 2 am, so we hang out a bit."

Tang Bingyi shook her head, "We always wish that we could ask you to come, but we're sure that your husband would never allow it."

Seeing their simple exchange, as they completely ignored Kang Jun, the event coordinator was completely shocked.

"Can I help with anything?" Lu AnLing said cheerfully.
