Hearing this, Kang Zhi clenched his fist. He had hurt Anna that day. He knew this. But at that point in time, Kang Zhi had only wanted to make sure to allow Kang Jun some freedom. Back then, Feng Zhengyi was already working on finding a suitable marriage partner for Kang Jun in order for him to have the upper hand on Kang Zhi. Back then, Feng Zhengyi wanted someone who she could use. "Then did you, on Zhengyi's orders, arrange for Zhi's death!?" Elder Kang asked harshly, almost screaming.
Hearing this, Secretary Rong shook his head and Feng Zhengyi suddenly exploded.
"How dare you imply that! I've never ordered at actual attempt on Kang Xhi's life!" Feng Zhengyi screamed.
The woman was furious. So many things were being put upon her shoulders and she didn't know how to get herself out of it but suddenly, Mo Ruyi spoke.
"That was Elder Qiao's doing." Mo Ruyi said simply. As she said this, her eyes were focused on Elder Kang who's face paled. "Because Kang Zhi commited adultry, Elder Qiao took it upon himself to kill Kang Zhi."
Hearing this, Elder Kang's face turned completely dark and then he slammed his cane on the flour almost shattering it to pieces.
"That bastard! I'll kill him!" Elder Kang screamed loudly.

"He's already being dealt with." Kang Jun said coldly. He then turned to Qiao Lan and sighed, "I'm giving you my sympathies."
Meanwhile, As they spoke, at the hospital a nurse entered Elder Qiao's room as he slept soundly. Suddenly, she reached for his IV drip and stuck a needle in it and then she slowly pushed on the end of the needle, allowing a clear liquid to enter the small tube.
As soon as she did this, Elder Qiao suddenly awoke. Seeing the woman hovering above him with a needle, the man jolted up.
"You! You can't be in here! Get out!" The old man screamed.
Hearing this, the woman frowned. "I'm sorry Elder Qiao but I have two messages for you, from Kang Jun."
