Since he had felt the girls gentle touch on his lips, Kang Jun had been completely aware of his surroundings, and despite wondering if it was a dream, at first, he quickly understood that it was not.

As Lu AnLing continued to touch him and approach him, Kang Jun kept contemplating what he should do next. He wanted her to touch him more but he also wanted to touch her himself, but if he moved, the girl would know he was awake and she would back away as quickly as she had approached.

What a predicament!

So all that was left for Kang Jun to do was to just lay still and allow the girl to have her way with him.

But somewhere along the line, Kang Jun's rationality completely dissipated, leaving a wide-open field in his mind for his desires to frolic and grow.

He had become so delirious that he unconsciously wrapped his arms around the girl's waist. Noticing this, Kang Jun felt his blood run cold. To play it off as an accidental movement, Kang Jun planned on quickly dropping his arms from her waist, as if nothing had happened, but then the girl spoke,

"Mister Kang…"

Hearing her soft voice envelop him, he couldn't help himself. With one small movement. He pulled the girl onto his lap.

Abruptly, Lu AnLing began to struggle in the man's lap. Feeling the friction between her bottom and his crotch, Kang Jun wanted to groan. The blood rushed to his lower body until he was rock hard, and then, suddenly, Lu AnLing was frozen.

Trying to calm himself down, Kang Jun buried his face into the girls flowing hair and took a deep breath. Her scent was sweet but, this time, there was also a faint lingering scent of milk.

Kang Jun could only assume that this was Kang Mingyu's. The boy had probably held onto the girl like she was a precious treasure before Kang Jun had arrived.

Slowly, the man's whole body relaxed.

Holding onto the girl tightly, Kang Jun was beginning to enjoy the position he was in, even though the girl had completely stopped moving. It was so calming that he wanted to stay like this forever but, suddenly, Kang Jun's phone began to ring.

Pushing his head away from Lu AnLing, Kang Jun lazily looked at his phone. It was Mr. Long. He was about to pick it up, but his body didn't want to move.

The man wanted to lay his head back on Lu AnLing's shoulder and then doze off, but that was now impossible.

"Mr. Kang!" Lu AnLing almost screamed.

Rubbing his eye groggily, Kang Jun was reluctant to answer, but he did. "Mmm…"

Watching him, Lu AnLing thought he looked like a child, and she couldn't help but think he was cute despite their precarious position.

Kang Jun looked at Lu AnLing in the eyes. Sleep was fresh in them, despite the fact that inside, he felt wide awake.

"Could you please let go of me?" Lu AnLing asked politely but shyly.

Sitting on the lap of the man she loved was embarrassing, but more than that it caused a fire to burn in her stomach. She actually didn't mind being in his arms, but Lu AnLing wouldn't tell him that.

Looking at her, Kang Jun seemed like he failed to register what she had said. He just gazed at her up and down and pretended to analyze the situation. Suddenly, the man's face twisted slightly.

Seeing this, Lu AnLing's face turned completely red.

"This isn't what you think. You pulled me into your lap and then—" Lu AnLing recounted the situation to Kang Jun who listened without moving. He knew exactly what had happened but he liked the sound of her voice while she explained.

When she was done, there was a small silence before Kang Jun decided to speak,

"So This is my fault?" Kang Jun asked quizzically.

Hearing this, Lu AnLing didn't know what to answer but she was insinuating it, so she couldn't deny that it wasn't his fault.

Lu AnLing's reaction intrigued the man. How was this his fault?

"I think that's wrong… rather than mine, Isn't this your fault?"

Lu AnLing turned to Kang Jun, with furrowed eyebrows and pursed lips.

"How so?"

"You tried to seduce me as I was sleeping."

"When did—" Lu AnLing stopped herself from speaking. Kang Jun was wrong. She hadn't been trying to seduce him. She was trying to take advantage of him! But that wasn't a better answer…

Calming herself, Lu AnLing said. "I didn't try to seduce you. Now, if you will please, let go of me."

Lu AnLing's voice was more rigid than before. It sounded like she was hiding something but Kang Jun already knew the situation in full, so he just enjoyed their closeness for a while longer.

Seeing that Kang Jun wasn't letting go, the girl let out a sigh of exasperation.

"Let go!" She said before she began to struggle in his embrace once more as if she had completely forgotten the reaction she had caused beforehand.

At first, it was cute so Kang Jun laughed but as soon as he felt himself begin to react, his facial expression completely changed.

"Please stop that." Kang Jun groaned.

Lu AnLing: "Let go of me and I will."

Before either of them could make a move, there was a sudden knock at the door, followed by some bickering.

"Hurry up and just open the door!" Kang Jun and Lu AnLing heard Kang Mingyu say with an exasperated tone.

Outside, Mr. Long was slightly stressed and frustrated. After leaving the hospital, he and Rong Xin had been taking care of the children for a while. Seeing that it was getting late, Rong Xin had decided to take Kang Mei Xue home and had left Mr. Long to deal with the monster called Kang Mingyu.

The whole time they were at dinner, Kang Mingyu was in a bad mood but the little boy had remained civil, that is, until they went to get checked at the hospital.

Kang Mingyu had thought that after dinner he would be able to go see his auntie, which is why he was acting so well, but seeing that his hopes were dashed, all Kang Mingyu's mind could see was red and he no longer cared about anyone or anything.

Though this didn't mean he refused to get checked. Kang Mingyu wasn't an idiot, he knew that the sooner his checkup was done, the sooner he could see Lu AnLing and so, he obeyed. But once they were done, he kept bothering Mr. Long to take him back to Hotel Helios.

Mr. Long wasn't sure that it was a good idea to bring the boy back just yet. After all, his boss hadn't contacted him, but the more Mr. Long tried to stall, the more the boy threatened that he would throw a tantrum.

This was something Mr. Long didn't want to experience so he brought the boy to Room 976.

Just so they wouldn't have to wait, Mingyu had given Mr. Long the room card in the elevator, so he was extremely annoyed that the man wasn't opening the door.

Mr. Long, on the other hand, as much as he was afraid of Kang Mingyu throwing a tantrum, was more afraid of what his boss would do to him if he interrupted something.

When he had called, Kang Jun didn't even answer and so, he could only imagine what the man was doing in there…

Mr. Long's thoughts weren't far from what was actually happening.

After a while of waiting, Mr. Long knocked again, but this time, Kang Jun opened the door.
