In the main balcony of the mansion, stood two figures. One was a tall well-built figure and the other was a tall lean figure. The bigger was seen showing his back to the other person.

They had both been silent for a while now and Mi Rong could not take it any longer, "Jun Kai, stop with the acting and tell me what is going on inside your head right now." This boy had been acting so strange lately that she almost forgot the person who he was before. Since the auction, he had not been the same…

Strange enough, this time Jun Kai was rather calm and casually put his hand into his trouser pockets before speaking distantly, "This has nothing to do with you."

Hearing his answer Mi Rong got sick of this 'it is none of your business' or 'it has nothing to do with you' Was grandma Feng and Qing Qing, not someone she knew? When would it have anything to do with her? When she was his wife? Tsk.

"Nonsense. Just a load of excuses. Ha!" Mi Rong couldn't help but speak full of ridicule in her voice. She was not going to tolerate with this kind of treatment.

By then Jun Kai finally turned around. This was his first time seeing her temper. It's just that, it made her look...rather attractive? Her eyebrows slightly furrowed and her genuine emotions were revealed. She did not have any wall on this time, hmm, this was also good.

One of his eyebrows raised up slightly and asked, "What did I say wrong? Is it not a fact that you're an outsider?" He purposely spoke to provoke her some more.

"You!?" Her face showed how fuming she was inside. This boy is truly stepping her line. An outsider!? You ungrateful person!

'What?" There was amusement lit in his eyes, "Well, it is still unclear that you might be hiding any secrets. Did you not see anything at all?"

"Jun Kai, grandma Feng is like my friend. Why would I need to hide anything...besides, you are like my…" My what? My grandchild? Oh dear, what was she thinking? She was slightly older than this boy, but she wasn't that old. Ugh, this oldness is killing her.

Seeing Mi Rong became silent as she left off her sentence, Jun Kai slowly took some steps forward, curious with her unfinished words, "I am like your what?"

Although Jun Kai was closing in, Mi Rong still stood put in her position. What was she going to say...well how hard was it to explain both of their rather unclear or unnamed relationship with this fellow human. By now, Jun Kai was only three steps away when he stopped and bent forward to her eye level.

"What am I to you, Mi Rong? Hm?"

Seeing those eyes, Mi Rong stared into his deep eyes that were like a pool of darkness. She pondered, what was he to him…He looked at her, waiting for her answer, but she gave him none.

Jun Kai chuckled softly. "Oh well, then if we are both nothing to each other, then this talk is unnecessary." He felt his words left him a slight bitterness to his mouth when he finished his sentence. Seeing no response from the other person, he decided to not linger around any longer. Such talk was pointless anyway.

The tall figure of Jun Kai then brushed past Mi Rong as she was left behind in a daze.

"A friend." Suddenly her voice spoke up in the midst.

His footsteps stopped.

Mi Rong carried on, "You're like a friend to me." She then turned around to face him.

However, Jun Kai merely turned only his left side of his face to Mi Rong, with raised brows and a tint of sarcasm, "A friend? I never treated you as a friend. Maybe...you should go and change your answer."

Subsequently, Jun Kai took his leave. This time without turning back.

Tsk. Change her answer? What did he want her to answer, ha? Besides, what was wrong with being friends, it should be his honour! Mi Rong's mood became gloomy. Such a waste of her emotions! She'll work alone to find this case instead, hmph!

The next day had arrived, but the Feng family's mansion was quiet. Only the workers were doing their duties. The house looked rather dull and no one was smiling.

Some passerby on the streets were slightly puzzled with the mood going around the mansion. Those that would walk pass daily were beginning to wonder what might have happened since the whole house was closed off tightly than before. No one came out from the house to buy fresh food at the fresh market like usual.

However, just as everyone was slightly confused, the big sturdy gates opened up. In a line, black secured cars drove out from the house. There were five cars in total. All drove steadily out and then the gates of the Feng's mansion was shut once again. Some had a glimpse of the old housekeeper sending the cars off, but everything else was all hush hushed.

Inside one of the cars had Qing Qing and Mi Rong sitting in the back. In front seats, there was Jun Kai in the passenger seat and another figure in a black suit with black glasses driving. No one spoke. Qing Qing, who would usually lighten up the mood, was oddly quiet. She was hugging Mi Rong on the side and had her head hung down.

She truly hoped her great grandmother was alright. Seeing any shadows of her great grandmother made her missed her. Mi Rong patted Qing Qing's back gently to calm the little girl down.

In the front seat, Jun Kai had been looking out his window the whole ride until they reached the private hospital.

All of them headed straight inside the hospital and to grandma Feng's room.

In one of the window stood a faint shadow…

"Master, they're here."

"Good. Keep an eye for them, let's cause some waves for the Feng company shall we?"

"Yes, master..."
