Present time.

Seoul, South Korea

Mi Rong slowly opened her eyes. She was somewhat sorrowful from reminiscing her past life, both happy and sad memories. That was how she came to this world. She had stayed in this timeline for 7 years.

When Mi Rong came, she was reborn in a 15 year old modern day 'Mi Rong' who looked just like her but modern day 'Mi Rong' was an orphan with no ties. She grew up in an orphanage in Jeju Island, South Korea and later on moved to Seoul to study medicine and became a nurse. Her looks stayed just the same from her past life. Xiao Bai had stayed by her side the whole time, it had grown up much bigger than she thought.

Xiao Bai too did not think that it would grow bigger, when it was in the cave it had stayed the same shape as a puppy for years and years. The cave must have stopped it from growing, once it was out, it was able to grow bigger.

Turns out, Xiao Bai was actually a snow wolf. One of the rare mythical creatures during Yue Lin's time. Mi Rong kept the jade bracelet given by Yue Lin on her wrist all the time never taking it off. Throughout the years, she has been trying to find the cave and the spell book to solve the mission and go back; however, without any success.

Mi Rong has been wrecking her mind on how to find it while also having to slowly adapt to the new place and new language. Whilst learning, she found out that Chinese was a simplified version of her mother language, so it was not hard for her. However, she must learn Korean which was much different accept from some words that was also used in Chinese, other than that, it was quite a challenge. Then for the past 4 years, she has been practicing English while becoming a nurse.

Fortunately, she was a fast learner and had Xiao Bai to help her out, he was like a google for everything she did not know; however, whenever she asked about the spell book or the task, it would keep it's mouth shut tightly. Time past and both of them got along with each other more and had a stronger bond with each other.

She did not have a hard time in modern day, as many had helped her financially along the way. Everything seemed good enough except she missed her family.

Sigh.

Back to the the bed.

Mi Rong slowly adapted her eye sight with the lights surrounding her. She then found out that she was in a hospital room. Luckily, her hospital was near the crash.

Mi Rong examined her body and saw that there weren't any severe injuries. It would take at least 1 week for her to recover. She was also a doctor in her past life, but the doctors in this world were too different to the doctors back were she came from so she gave up. She didn't want to burden herself when she had to deal with her 'mission' to break the curse. Her hopes in learning medicine was that she might have a chance to find the spell book among the libraries or the secret rooms of her professors, which she would sneak in from time to time.

Exploring around the room she saw the little girl lying on the bed next to her, so she slowly got up to check on her. It was the same little girl that she saved from the explosion. However, sadly the little girl's mother did not make it and died in the explosion.

"Sigh" Mi Rong walked closer to the little girl and wiped tear marks on her little face. She examined the little girl's body and only saw that the major injury was the girl's leg. She would have to stay here for at least 6 weeks and would have to be on a cast.

"Poor girl" Mi Rong then stroked the girls hair.

From the slight movement, the girl woke up. "Mami? Is that you."

"Sigh...I'm sorry, but I'm not your mother."

When the girl saw who was in front of her and it was not her mother, tears began to run down her small face. She remembered what had happened and cried.

The girl cried for a couple of minutes while Mi Rong patted on her head. Then the girl seemed to have thought of something which stopped her from crying. Seeing the little girl's face turning red from trying to hold her tears, she comforted her "Hey, cry it all out don't keep it in. If you cry you would feel much better, trust me."

"But...But"

"But what hmm?"

"Papa said big girls don't cry, b..but Mami she's gone, boo hoo hooo." The girl's resistance's melted away when Mi Rong comforted her with a gentle tone.

"Sigh, I know you want to listen to your dad, but don't try to keep everything in. Somethings yes, but this sadness from your mother, she deserves your tears, let it out. I lost all my family too and I said to myself that I would cry, but once I finished crying, I also said to myself that I will be strong and not cry anymore and keep going. This is also how big girls deal with sadness."

The little looked up at Mi Rong's face with admiration and then began to cry harder, letting all her sadness out. Although, she was showered with much love from her parents, but she did not live in a safe place like other kids. Her father had to make her become stronger. This was the first time, someone had truly comfort her. It was different from her mami's warm hugs and papa's encouraging words.

Mi Rong let the girl cry for a while as she poured warm water into the little girl's cup. When the girl stopped crying, Mi Rong wiped her tears with tissues and passed the cup of water to her.

"Now, may I know your name?"

"My name is Qing Qing, Feng Qing Qing. What is jie's name?"

"Mi Rong, you can call me Rong jie"

"Ah, Rong jie. Thank you for saving my life ^^" Qing Qing's were both shaped in a crescent shape with some tears along the edge of her eyes. She was adorable.

"Ke Ke, you're welcome Qing Qing."

Qing Qing was five years old, but was quite mature for her age, she learned to let go faster than other kids, but her eyes still lingered with some sadness. However, as she was only a child, she still had her rosy baby cheeks. Her eyes were big and looked like a deer's eyes.

The two conversed for a while and then Mi Rong left Qing Qing alone to take some rest and have time to herself. Mi Rong didn't feel like going to sleep yet so walked towards the window sill and sat on it. Luckily it was a two patients room, when Qing Qing fell asleep, Mi Rong had peace and quiet to herself. She looked outside the window and thought of all the years being in present day. Life was fragile, she does not know when she might be gone and if she would even succeed in her task.

"Sigh." She thought of her imperial father, mother, and brother. Mi Rong was deep in her thoughts.

She did not realize another person had come in the room. It only occurred to her when the person was behind her. Mi Rong then quickly turned around and got up to face the new comer.

When she turned back, she was surprised to see a tall handsome man in front of her. She was in fact 170 cm tall, but when she stood up facing him, he was much taller than her. His eyebrows were thick and sharp like a sword and his nose fitted his face shape perfectly. Perfect? He was indeed one of a kind. Coming to present time, it was rare to encounter handsome man like how she did in her time. Her Imperial father even though had past his prime age he was still one of the top handsome man in her kingdom. Don't even mention her brother who is still young.

Feng Jun Kai was also surprised as his eyes could not stop exploring the woman's face, she seemed similar to his wife, but he could not recall that his wife had a sister. Disappointment slowly covered his eyes.

"You, you're not Ling-er, who are you?"

"Ah?" Mi Rong woke from her trance.

"Where's my wife?"
