The hall where the event was located was set up with Chinese tables and was set up with colourful decorated Chinese plates. The plates and the decorations were in top quality and only the Feng family would be able to do this.

Right up front was a glamorous stage and everyone were all staring at the decorations. However, what made everyone more stunned was the room beside this hall.

The room was large and covered with glass windows and doors so that the room would be visible to everyone. It was a lavishly decorated ballroom. Every women's eyes lit up as they walked in the hall. Ever since young, their parents would take them to dance lessons or would be taught to be proper.

If it was their time to shine, then they would want to own the limelight on the floor.

Nevertheless, everyone in the event was all slowly settling themselves at their respective seats. All the members of the Feng family were all seated in front. Grandma Feng and Jun Kai were both being led to their seats when they were approaching closer; grandma Feng suddenly halted.

She seemed to have realized something. There were no seats for Mi Rong and Xia Yun. Grandma Feng turned towards Feng Min who was still on the stage. It was not an event that she had set up; therefore, there was no need to be polite.

She beckoned a bodyguard to call Feng Min down from the stage. If Mi Rong and Xia Yun were her guests, then they should be guests to the Feng family as well. Like this it was not giving any face towards her.

Madam Yun who had been leading the way also stopped. Seeing grandma Feng's burning gaze made her feel uneasy. She had tested these current and was left defeated. These very eyes were also there when she declared a war with this woman. Back then she did not know much and could be counted too naïve. Although she and her son were still alive, what else did her and her son posses…nothing…nothing but empty power.

She quickly diminished her thoughts of the past and began worrying over Feng Min. Even though Feng Min was loved by grandma Feng, but he hasn't been very obedient towards her throughout these years.

Madam Yun slowly crept towards grandma Feng, "Jie, why not sit down first hm? You came up those stairs so maybe you could take a rest first, this sister will help you." Madam Yun was about to reach out her hands to grandma Feng's arm; however, she had to quickly retreat it back.

Grandma Feng had coldly looked towards Madam Yun with her sharp stare. Madam Yun slightly shuddered inside, but kept an awkward smile on her face and didn't engage anymore.

Feng Min had seen the whole scene happening as he came down from the stairs. His brows slightly furrowed, before covering his expression to a very merry mood. His facial expression switched from one to the other like lightning, no one would have seen through it.

"Ah, it is grandmother Feng. What may this grandson do for you?" As Feng Min spoke, his eyes were in full of smiles. If anyone were to see this then they would have thought that Mother Feng and Feng Min were harmoniously together.

However, grandma Feng did not comply and indifferently spoke, "I wonder where are the seats for my guests?" Grandma Feng did not even bother to look at Feng Min as she spoke.

Feng Min did not seem to be affected by grandma Feng's indifference towards him, "Well you see grandmother, the front seats are all for our Feng family. Since both of your guests are not a part of the Feng family then they cannot join."

Hearing Feng Min excuse made grandma Feng snapped, "Feng Min! When was there ever this rule?"

Everyone's attentions were now focused on the Feng family members. While grandma Feng was becoming even more infuriated, Jun Kai stood right beside his grandmother. Although he kept quiet, he wouldn't hesitate to step in anytime. He had long sent Qing Qing off to her 'sisters' as he knew that this would happen.

However, it wasn't just him that seemed to know that this would happen, but she knew of this even before him. What a calculative person.

Seeing the situation did not look good to outsiders, a middle age man approached the group. Jun Kai's brows furrowed before looking away.

"Mother, you shouldn't let your temper harm you." The middle age man's charismatic voice made everyone sooth their hearts. They were all afraid of grandma Feng's anger erupting the place.

Feng Min gave a gratitude look towards the middle age man. The middle age man only nodded.

Grandma Feng turned her attention towards the newcomer, "You're also on their side?"

"Mother, you shouldn't be too mad. It just the setting of our event, besides I'm sure Feng Min would have found a special place for them to sit."

Feng Min then happily responded, "Yes, that is right again uncle."

Grandma Feng sighed, "What a son I've raised."

The middle age man smiled and grandma Feng's grievance did not seem to have entered his ears, "Thank you, mother, for raising me."

He then turned to look at the man behind grandma Feng, "Oh, isn't it my good son."

Jun Kai then tiredly look back towards his 'father', "Good evening Mr. Li Jian." Jun Kai purposely drew a line between him and his father.

Once again, Mr. Li Jian only smiled like nothing had happened, "Well what are you all waiting for, let's all settle down now shall we." He then paved a way for everyone to sit down.

Before Grandma Feng followed the rest, she gave look towards Jun Kai and Jun Kai could only nod. It's now his turn.

He only made a slight gesture towards Lin Cheng and Lin Cheng delivered his boss' order right away.

Let the party begin.
