It's been a month since Saad left his town but walking around alone in the jungle with no one to keep him company, was still hard for him. He thought he would get used to it but it seems like he didn't. But thankfully he at least had his Pokemon with him.

Right now, Saad was sitting on a rock staring at his Pokemon who were dashing and jumping in front of him. Unlike the first time they wore weights, they seem a bit more energetic now. They were also slowly getting their normal speed back even under those weights.

Chimchar and Shinx who were training, saw their Trainer looking at them and smirked proudly.

Veins appeared on Saad's forehead after seeing their faces.

"Maybe I should increase the weights."

Saad gave them a threatening look and turned his eyes on his lap, where a small Ralts was resting peacefully. Somehow seeing the relaxed look on his face made him more pissed. He raised him up by the small horn on his head and with a scary face said to the confused Pokemon,

"Why are you slacking off? Do you want to get left behind by those two?"

"Raltssss…..", the terrified Pokemon shook his head.

"Then you better start training now.", said Saad with an icy glare and pushed the poor creatures in the gates of hell.

...............….

After a few days of traveling and training, Saad decided to let his Pokemon take a rare breather and allow them to take a well-deserved rest. After removing their weights, the poor Pokemon were lying on the soft grass trying to catch their breath.

Saad looked at them and smiled. He took out a book from his back and started to read it. The book was about Pokemon Training. He bought it in Jubilife City because he heard that the author of the book wrote it for his son who had Chimchar as his starter Pokemon. The author in his days also had a Chimchar so, he decided to write a book with intentions of passing his experience to his son. After knowing this, Saad thought that it would be very useful for him too so, he bought it.

.

Saad started reading the book and after doing it for several minutes he paused at a particular section.

It explained about a skill Chimchar can use if trained properly. It was called Blaze. Saad knew of this technique as it was one of the most famous skills that a Pokemon can possess.

The writer wrote about this technique in a very unusual way.

"Blaze; a curse that tests a Pokemon's disposition, mental power, and its character. If the user passes the test, it gives the user unbelievable strength but if failed, the user becomes a slave to it and will try to destroy everything in its path. The key to not lose his mind, is for the Pokemon to control its temper and it requires great training."

Saad's facial expression got stern after reading the whole section. Saad knew that Chimchar is capable to learn Blaze and it will be a good increase in his arsenal if he masters it but Saad was not confident that Chimchar will able to control it. Chimchar although loyal, had a lot of pride in him and hated losing. He was really sensitive to things that hurt his pride and would get very agitated sometimes.

Saad turned his face towards his Chimchar and began to ponder on how to make Chimchar learn and control Blaze. After thinking for a while, his eyes lit up and he remembered the time he was ill.

Everyday people will come to visit him and his family. They would show pity, helplessness, and sadness but that irked him. He wasn't mentally ill or anything so why did they look at him like that.

They would stick in his room for hours talking with his family and showing concern for him but he didn't like it. He always thought that they were stupid and annoying. <If they know that I am ill then why don't they let me rest? Instead of doing that they would constantly annoy me and not let me rest with their queries filled with concern for me>, that's what Saad thought at that time.

It's not that he is not thankful that they came to inquire about his health, rather he is grateful for them to especially come with intentions to share his family's pain but still hearing their voices for hours when he was sick and was suffering from a severe headache, just made it unbearable for him. He just wanted for them to keep quiet and leave him alone.

That torture went on for days but eventually, he got used to all of it. He just learned to ignore them and bear with them.

All of these memories that flashed in his brain made Saad understand how to train Chimchar in order for him to control his Blaze.

A smile suddenly spread across his face as he called over Shinx and Ralts leaving Chimchar to stand there feeling curious as to why he was left out.

Saad went close to the two Pokemon and whispered something in their ears. The duo who were curious to hear what Saad had to stay, began to slowly smile wickedly. After Saad finished talking they turned around and smiled widely at Chimchar.

Chimchar who was curious to know what the other three were whispering about, got chills down his spine when he saw the weird smiles on their faces. He just could not help but feel terrified.

Saad looked at Chimchar who was standing there staring vigilantly at him, smiled and thought,

"I will make sure you learn Blaze successfully."
