"Geodude! I choose you", Rocky shouted as he called a Geodude to be his first Pokemon to battle.
Seeing Rocky's choice of Pokemon, Saad began to quickly think of his choices and finally decided on his choice,
"Ralts! I choose you"
Saad threw the Pokeball and the cute little Pokemon appeared against the Geodude. Ralts looked around and smiled at Saad after spotting him as it began to move towards him.
Saad smiled at him and said while pointing at Geodude,
"Don't come here. We are having the battle I told you about. Stay there and fight that guy."
Ralts paused and turned his head towards the strange ball with arms sticking out of his body. After watching his opponent he looked towards Saad and nodded with a determined face earning an encouraging smiled from Saad.
"That's a cute Pokemon.", Rocky complimented
Saad smiled at him and said,
"Thanks for waiting. We can start now"
"Okay, Geodude use Rock Throw"
Geodude who was eager to fight threw a solid punch at ground causing small pieces of rocks to scatter around towards Ralts.
Saad looked at the barrage of rocks coming towards Ralts and commanded,
"Ralts Use Magical Leaf"
Ralts threw a bunch of leaves hurling towards the rocks, causing them to miss him.
"Geodude! Use Tackle"
The Geodude rushed towards Ralts with full speed with intend to smash the little Pokemon with his solid body.
"Ralts! Dodge it and use Magical Leaf"
Ralts dodged the upcoming Pokemon and attacked it with shiny leaves.
"Geodude! Use Rock Throw"
Geodude countered the leaves by throwing rocks at them. The rocks successfully neutralized the attack and Geodude retreated keeping a distance from the Ralts.
"Geodude! Use Roll Out"
Geodude who was getting a little angry by not landing a hit on his opponent jumped and curled into a ball as it began to spin where he was standing and after doing so for a few seconds he rolled towards Ralts with amazing speed.
Saad looked at the ball rolling towards Ralts and smiled,
"Finally it is here."
"Ralts! Use confusion"
Ralts raised his both hands as they began to glow. He then thrust them forward as a weak light was sent towards the rolling Pokemon. The light hit the target and Geodude who was rushing towards Ralts suddenly changed its course and hit a boulder beside Ralts.
Saad smiled seeing this and said,
"Ralts Use Psychic and hit with the boulders surrounding it."
Ralts crossed his arms and when he opened them they began to glow as the boulders surrounding it started to rise in the air. He then moved the boulders and threw them heavily on the confused Pokemon who was moving around recklessly without any sense of direction.
The boulders fell heavily on the rolling Pokemon making him uncurled as he fell heavily on the ground under the weight of huge rocks.
"Ralts! Finish it with Magical Leaf"
Ralts quickly attacked the fallen Pokemon with strong Magical Leaves causing it to turn unconscious.
"Geodude is unable to battle. Ralts wins".
Seeing that he finally defeated the opponent, Ralts cheered and smiled sweetly at Saad who could not help but feel an urge to go and hug this little guy.
Rocky who was has been strangely inactive since Geodude was struck with the Confusion attack smiled and complimented Saad,
"It was amazing that you knew how to properly counter Geodude with that Ralts."
Saad who was already happy after defeating opponent's first Pokemon, beamed, even more, when he heard the compliment,
"Thank You!"
"But it will not be so easy this time. Onix! I choose you", Rocky smiled and threw a Pokeball.
The Pokeball flashed red and with a loud roar, a humongous Pokemon appeared in front of Ralts, who could not help but tremble after seeing the scary looking giant chain of rocks in front of him.
Rocky smiled at Saad who was standing solemnly at the other side of the arena without any intention of calling back his Pokemon and commanded,
"Onix! Use Tackle"
The huge Pokemon let out an angry roar and rushed straight at the little Ralts with amazing speed.
"Ralts! Dodge it", Saad shouted as he saw the Onix charge forward.
But what happened next baffled Saad as he saw that Ralts who was supposed to dodge the upcoming Pokemon stood there trembling as he stared at Onix with eyes full of fear and soon the huge Pokemon collided with the little Pokemon sending it flying outside the arena.
"Ralts!!!"
Saad shouted and rushed towards the unconscious Pokemon and after verifying that it was fine, he put it back in the Pokeball as he stood up from the ground and stared at the huge Onix.
Rocky smiled and said,
"Your Ralts need more battles."
Saad looked towards Rocky and nodded while fully understanding what he meant to say. Ralts was a little inexperienced in battles making him a little short on confidence, resulting him to be unable to handle the pressure from the huge Onix.
"So, who is your next choice?", asked Rocky
Saad smiled and threw a Pokeball towards the arena.
"Monferno! I choose You"
