"I choose Chimchar!", Saad yelled in confidence as he looked at the little fiery chimpanzee.
Chimchar looked at the boy who chose him as his partner and jumped around in excitement. After a while, he turned towards Saad and jumped on his shoulder.
Saad was a little startled when Chimchar jumped on his shoulder but soon smiled when he saw his cute little partner make a fist towards him.
"Chimcharr…..", voiced the Pokemon as he stared at Saad.
Saad looked at his partner and bumped his fist with the little pokemon's fist.
"I look forward to our journey, partner", said Saad with a fire in his eyes.
"Chimchar heh! A great choice young man. Here your Pokedex and Poke Balls.", said Professor Rowan pointing towards the table as he smiled seeing the interaction between Saad and his first Pokemon.
Saad looked towards where the Professor was pointing at and quickly picked the Pokedex and PokeBalls. He put the PokeBalls in his bag and opened the Pokedex.
"I already configured it with your information. You can now use it.", said, Professor Rowan.
Saad nodded at his words and turned the Pokedex towards Chimchar who has climbed down his shoulder and now was standing on the table. Soon a robotic female voice entered his ears,
"Chimchar! A fire type Pokemon. It agilely scales sheer cliffs to live atop craggy mountains. Its fire is put out when it sleeps. Its common attacks are scratch, Leer. It is weak against Ground, Rock, and Water-type. It can evolve into Monferno."
Saad smiled and turned his face towards Professor Rowan.
"Thank You! Professor Rowan. I will be going now, Please wish me good luck as I will soon begin my journey."
"Hm, I know that you will be a good Trainer but remember Pokemon are friendly creatures but some of them are quite vile. Always be on your guard while traveling alone. Now go and don't lag behind your friends."
Saad's eyes burned when he heard the professor mentioning his friends.
"Don't worry, Professor. I will soon catch up to them. Well, I will be going now. See Ya!", said, Saad, as he ran outside while carrying his Chimchar on his shoulder.
Professor Rowan smiled when he saw the young boy running out of the lab excitedly.
"Good Luck, kid..."

It was late at night but still, there was a house bustling with energy as a young man played around with his new partner. His parents already told him to go to sleep but the young boy was too immersed in his joy to respond to them. His parents smiled at him and went to their room leaving the boy happily playing with his first Pokemon.
After playing and getting himself familiarize with his Pokemon, Saad laid down on his bed as he stared at his partner.
"We will definitely reach the top, my friend."
Chimchar looked deeply as his Trainer and nodded heavily after a smile.
Saad rubbed him on his head and said,
"Let's go to sleep. We will start our journey tomorrow."
"Chimcharr…...", muttered the Pokemon slowly as he closed his eyes while laying beside his Trainer.
Saad slowly turned off the lights and both the Trainer and his Pokemon fell asleep in hope of waking up to the next sunrise when their first adventure will begin.
