Deep inside the jungle, a boy could be seen lecturing a Chimchar. He had red hair, deep brown eyes and was wearing a black jacket with red trousers. He had a cute face which looked even more adorable as he strictly taught his Pokemon.
"Chimchar! I noticed that you have amazing agility and your Ember is also accurate but you lack in power. "
"Chimchar…..", the little Pokemon nodded as he listened to his Trainer seriously.
"We need to increase your attack power but that does not mean that we will ignore your agility. In fact, we will focus on that even more. We will train to make it your specialty and I will make sure to make you the fastest Chimchar there is."
Saad looked seriously at Chimchar as he declared his future plans. Saad understood that every Pokemon has its own strength and weakness. So, he decided to further polish his partner in his strength.
"Chimchar! You are going to start your training now. You are to battle every kind of Pokemon that we find from now on. For starter you need to let them attack you and all you have to do is dodge. You will not attack them until necessary. "
"Chimcharr….", Chimchar stared at his Trainer in confusion.
"Yeah, I know that it sounds unfair and strange for you to not attack but that's the best way to increase your instincts and agility.", replied Saad with a calm smile.
"Chimcharr...", although it could not understand the logic completely, Chimchar still nodded his head.

Saad decided to stay in the forest for Chimchar's training. So, instead of going to the Jubilife City he alongside Chimchar stayed in a small cave that he found while traveling further in the forest. They used most of their supplies after a few days but Saad had prepared for such a situation during the last few years. He searched for the edible fruits and berries in the forest and used them as their food.
Right now, Chimchar could be seen battling against a Starly. The bird Pokemon gave a hard time to Chimchar because of its fast air maneuvers that made it a little difficult for a non-flying Pokemon to dodge.
Starly gave a loud cry as it raised its speed to an amazingly fast degree. This quick attack of it was the main reason Saad asked Chimchar to fight it. Saad looked anxiously at his partner who was staring at the fast Starly with deep concentration. The bird Pokemon quickly reached its target and looked happy as already celebrating its win but as its attack was about to hit its mark, Chimchar flashed and disappeared from its sight.
Starly tried to turn around to find the small chimpanzee but a loud impact on his head sent it flying down to the ground. Somehow Chimchar had jumped above him without its notice. The power behind the punch made the impact powerful enough to knock it unconscious.
Saad became joyful at the win of its partner and jumped around in excitement like a kid.
"Wow! Chimchar you won. "
Chimchar looked at its trainer and also turned happy as it jumped to hug its partner. Saad caught it in his arms and rubbed its head a little.
"You have made great progress in the past half a month. The way you dodged that quick attack was great but the power behind the punch…..", Saad paused while talking and looked at the Chimchar who got a little nervous but soon smiled and continued, "was amazing".
Chimchar turned happy after listening to his Trainer and jumped on his shoulder as it started making cute noises. Saad looked happily at the cheerful Pokemon and said,
"What do you say, Chimchar? Should we try to catch our first new friend? "
Saad decided not to catch any other Pokemon until he is satisfied with Chimchar's progress. He didn't want his attention diverted while training his main companion. In the past few days, he has seen many cool Pokemon around and it was a little hard for him to hold his urge to catch one. But seeing that Chimchar has got the results he wanted, he could not wait any longer. He just wanted to go and catch a new Pokemon.
"Chimchar...", replied Chimchar.
Saad smiled excitedly as he quickly packed his stuff and started walking deep in the jungle. And so our hero set out to find a new Pokemon.

While roaming around for a while Saad saw many bug type Pokemon and Zigzagoon running around in the jungle but still, he could not find any Pokemon he would like to catch. As he was slowly getting upset he saw a black shadow running behind the trees. He quickly recognized who it was and got excited.
"Chimchar! Use Ember on that... ", Saad pointed towards the shadow and commanded Chimchar.
Chimchar who was jumping around the trees following Saad quickly rushed towards the shadow. He jumped from the tree branch and blasted bolts of fire towards the shadow. The attack didn't hit the target as he quickly dodged it.
The smoke from the attack cleared the area and soon a strange Pokemon could be seen staring wearily at Chimchar.
