Hearing the words coming out of his lips, Shangguan Wan sniffled. “I’m sorry. No matter what happens in the future, I won’t let go of your hand again.”
Ye Yanfeng lifted Shangguan Wan’s face, kissing her. “You have to be like this for all of our lives.”
Shangguan Wan nodded, a bright smile on her face. “Alright.” With that said, she shook the bag in her hand, explaining, “After I woke up in the morning, I wanted to make breakfast for you. But we all know my cooking skills are really bad, so I went down to buy us breakfast.”
“It’s alright, I’ll make breakfast for you in the future.” He picked her up easily as though he was carrying a child.
Shangguan Wan patted his shoulder with her other hand. “What are you doing? Put me down.”
