Three hours later - Year 4014 Mist Kingdom Central Town - Outskirts

Lyn snuck away when she realized where they were. She figured that she might as well pay a visit.

It's been a while since she last went out in these colors. Somehow it was quite refreshing. After a few turns, Lyn eventually found herself at her destination. As she strolled down and passed several tombstones, she took a deep breath. How odd, despite this place being a cemetery.

There is a strangely peaceful atmosphere around her. Or rather, she spies the hilltop where there appeared to be a huge cherry tree. How mysterious, a cherry tree in winter. Maybe when she has time later, she would visit. Eventually, she comes to a halt stopping at a particular grave.

Lyn crouched down and placed a bunch of flowers in the center, as she lit the candle. In doing so though she spies that the grave wasn't empty and appeared to have a refreshing scent. It's Pupillam's doing, nobody else would go through all the trouble of ensuring there's a fresh scent around a grave.

Sure enough, there were freshly scented candles. Oh sweets and many snack bars, those three came by too...fairly recently from the looks of it. Her sweatdropped when she saw the bun, the General for sure... The book it's brother. But the gift that caught her eye was a single red rose.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.

That's....her gaze softened, what a fool. If he only told her truthfully the reason why then for sure she wouldn't have left. Because that person has always held her, dear, no matter what happens. No matter how many girls you fooled around with. 'Guess she ought to speak with Rhys later and thank him.' Even though he only found out during one of her mental break down episodes.

As she positioned her hands in a prayer position. Lyn closed her eyes; it felt like so much has happened since she last came here.

Once she finished though, Lyn hears a crunching sound behind her. She turned and saw her friend, "Gabrielle..."

Gabrielle smiles, "Lyn, I almost didn't recognize you. It's been a while, hasn't it?"

Lyn sighed and closed her eyes, "Like that's believable. You've been stalking all my activities."

"Ehhh? When did I get caught?".

"From the start. That name was obvious." Lately, somebody with an anonymous name was going around asking about her. At first, Lyn was worried, but then she quickly realized who the other person was.

"But I believe it suits you."

The two of them looked at each other before they burst into laughter, " We both came in our old colors today from the looks of it." Gabrielle noted. Indeed her best friends attire was head to toe in turquoise while she wore different shades of purple.

"Un. But I'll admit I only went out like this so I wouldn't get caught. If I wore red, then they'd notice."

"Yet you wore that gem?"

Lyn gaze softened, "Yeah."

After all this gem wasn't hers, ' We found this...beside her body. In all honesty, usually, anything left behind by someone who dies from a color group gets sent to the investigation quarters. But the Prince managed to convince them for you. After all, I'm sure she would want you to have kept this.' Gabrielle too seemed to agree with that matter.

Lyn watches as Gabrielle place her flowers beside her own, "It looks like a bouquet now."

"Lady Asa always did love that kind of stuff." her sweatdropped at the memory, " But to think that we were the only ones that brought flowers.."

Gabrielle laughs, " Isn't it fine? The lot of them are awkward people. So if they did end up choosing something as normal as flowers, well I'd feel bad for the shop...More importantly, don't you have something you want to tell me?"

Lyn immediately placed her hand over the mark, "This is..."

Because the other guys had been strangely clingy with her - well it was only to the fact that they were helping her hide her tear-stained face.

Kazuya ended up building up a great deal of stress, and thus when the others left, he did something unexpected. She placed her hand on the mark, it was only a single one, and yet it was very deep. What is he an animal? "Kazuya was jealous," Lyn mutters. This was the first time for him, showing jealousy in such an unusual way.

Gabrielle paused, but then Lyn saw a tender smile on her race, "When you act this way, I'm glad," Gabrielle smiled as she glomped on to her, "Well I feel relieved, you two seem to be doing great. Still, your fiance is someone I know well."

"Gabrielle, I.."

Gabrielle shook her head, "The person I want you to end up with is someone who can truly make you happy. Their background or their circumstances don't matter as long as they can do just that," Gabrielle trails off, "That's why if Sir Kazuya is making you happy now, I don't - nor my Prince Allen or anyone else has the right to complain or take that away from you."

"I'm dating Kazuua now. Though it may seem like an impulsive decision since it happened way to soon. Truthfully speaking I probably haven't sorted my feelings out properly. Allen, to me, is still so vital, and I find myself shedding tears on the issue every night. It's something Shioka knows well and surprisingly enough; he allows me to talk about it. Last night too, I ended up almost scumbling into my emotions. I almost gave in. And yet I didn't do so. Right now, I wish to stay beside Kazuya."

'Beside Kazuya, it's the only warm place.'

Gabrielle smiles, "Then, nobody has the right to complain. I too will support you! If someone does, I'll beat them up!"

Lyn at her friend's sudden enthusiasm, chuckled, "I doubt you'd need to go that far."

"No, on this issue it's up to me as your only friend."

Ah, once again, Kazuya is right.

The one true answer for her in this world, where she has deceived others about her true self for so many years.

It is one that will hurt those important to her. But it seems like time is up, there is no longer any need to play this game. There is no longer any need to lie. No, it's more like she can't lie anymore.

Because the beautiful world she caught a glimpse of, was brighter than a single dream.

"I must admit though," Gabrielle trailed off. "You've gone through quite the adventure lately. I thought you'd stay put in the castle and rest for a while. But, here I find you outside and without escorts."

Lyn fiddled with her fingers, "I was with Kazuya and the other knights." She ought to head back to them; she didn't want to get them in trouble.

Gabrielle smiled, "Call him over?"

"No way, I don't know what you'd say to him now."
