What something? What would there be?

"I'm still mad at you; you were gone too long."

While Lyn knew that it would take a long time to reach the shops, surely it wouldn't take that long? Indeed she was right, Arthur managed to get there in five minutes and finish in fifteen. However, "The people who are after me are in town..." Arthur sighed. He looked very troubled.

The people who are after him?

"You were um, attacked?"

Lyn looked at the injury in his arm; it still pained her whenever she saw his injuries. She would remember that day in the snow. Arthur smiled and reached over to pat her hair. But Lyn still looked worried, so he told her to come over. Lyn sat down on his lap, and Arthur laughed.

"Really, you have your childish moments, huh?"

"What were you doing running around and reopening your wounds?"

Arthur's grin grew wider, "You even noticed that."

Of course, she did. When they met up earlier, she noticed that his movements were strange. While he wasn't able to walk correctly before, it wasn't that obvious that he was in pain.

"Don't worry, Lyn, I'll get treated."

"Why didn't you do so right away?"

"Then, we would get found out."Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.

Lyn bit her lip, "I keep some medical supplies," she trailed off. "Wait, I'll get it."

Arthur nodded. "That would do."

She quickly scurried off his lap and fetched her medical supplies. Lyn made her way back and noticed that Arthur had pulled out a pipe. He was looking up at the skies with a sad and lonely look in his eyes. Perhaps he misses his hometown? It must be difficult for him staying in an unfamiliar land like this.

Lyn dropped the box at the edge of the couch before she sat down on his lap again. She wrapped his arms around him.

"Say, Arthur?"

"Yes?"

"You'll go back soon too?" Lyn mumbled. It seems like all the people she meets and gets to know end up leaving sooner or later.

"Not for a while... Hey Lyn, I have something I want to ask you. Could you answer me?"

"Um, sure."

"Can you tell me which family you belong to?"

At that comment, Lyn froze. Ah... This is the one question she can't answer. Just as Lyn was about to answer his question,

"Lyn, come quickly. Your brother arrived!"

"Eh, eldest brother?"

___

A certain blonde-haired man sat in the waiting room impatiently. The only reason why he came here was because of what that stupid Ralph said.

Earlier

"All of you are useless," Andrew exclaimed. "You still can't find him?"

"Sir were sorry, but he got away..."

How frustrating, why is it so hard to find one man? "That man is the leader of the rebellion; if we don't find him, then the Rain Kingdom will fall. I don't care if it was just a single subject's rebellion. They will pay for not watching their people carefully."

How is it possible for a single man to gather so many forces? That was the one thing that remained in his head. But Andrew knew better than to focus on it. It's possible for anybody - even a commoner can gather up a lot of people using the right words. As long as that person has charisma, anybody can be a leader.

A chuckle from the doorway disrupted his thoughts. Andrew did not need to look over to know who it was. "Leave."

"Take it easy. I brought you some interesting news. I met your sister in town today."

"Lethia? She shouldn't be here."

Ralph chuckled, "The second Princess."

At that comment, Andrew immediately froze, "Lyn?"

"Yes, she looks exactly like you. But as for her temperament, it's hard to say considering how she couldn't save herself from almost being kidnapped."

Andrew stood up and grabbed Ralphs's collar, "You better not be joking with me."

"Why would I joke?"

Damn, what are the people in the church doing?

Present

"Big brother!!" a cheerful voice greeted him. Andrew looked up.

His sister had grown a lot taller than he last saw her, but Lyn still regained that childlike innocence.

"Come over."

Lyn nodded happily and made her way over. He reached over and patted her hair. "Have you been good and following all the rules here?" It was a stupid question. While he's been quite busy, Andrew makes sure to read the reports from the head of the church.

At that comment, Lyn averted her gaze. It was brief, but he saw it. So she did something she shouldn't have. She went into town... His gaze dimmed at the thought. What was she doing? And where is that man Ralph was talking about? Is it a member of the church that took her out? As these questions ran through his mind, he saw how his sister was looking at him.

"Big brother, we haven't seen each other for a long time. But you're too quiet..."

He was never a talkative person, to begin with. However, Andrew always made sure that he spoke more than usual whenever he was with this sister of his. The reason being was because Andrew understood how lonely the girl was.

"I apologize. The weather seems pleasant today, shall we go on a stroll?"

Lyn's eyes brightened, "Okay, brother!"

...

Andrew regretted the stroll thing a moment later. When they stepped outside, it was clearly cold despite it being night; however, it was still fairly light out. "Watch your step," Andrew told the girl.

"Okay."

Trees. And even more trees. Indeed the second they stepped out and went even further, they were greeted by the sight of nothing but greenery.

Yet Andrew is thinking that somehow it is not as dull-looking like before. In fact, when he looks around now, it's rather pleasant. Who would have thought that he would grow accustomed to such a sight? Upon arriving at a hill, Lyn rushes up and shuts her eyes, "It feels so nice. I would love it if it stayed this warm forever. Ah, but that would pose a problem. Since taking baths on cold days are the best."

"You like the cold still?"

Lyn smiles, "En, I do. But when it's warm like this, you get a carefree sort of feeling, don't you?"

"I suppose."

She really is fond of doing stuff like this, isn't she? Is it just his imagination, though, or is she even stranger than before? "I shall fetch you soon properly to go back home," Andrew murmured.

Lyn smiled, "I know big brother wouldn't just leave me here."

Why does she have so much faith in him? He reached out to pat her hair, but Lyn ran into his arms. "I've missed you, big brother.."

People have always told him that he was a cold-hearted person. Indeed, for a long time, he thought the same. But after he got to know his sister, Andrew realized he had a soft spot for her.

"I shall bring you back home without fail. Please bear with me for a bit longer." Andrew wanted nothing more than to take her away right this moment. If he could then...

"How much longer, brother? Um, I have to meet my fiance, right?"
