They can't return to how they were before. But, Lyn knew Kazuya wouldn't leave her side. Even though he clearly disapproved of her actions. Kazuya says nothing. Still, they do not need words. Lyn couldn't focus on the current events; her thoughts still lingered to what happened an hour ago. The two of them walking hand in hand had become so normal for her. It became so natural, and yet. Lyn tapped her pen against the desk. 'Something is still missing,' she thought.

Kazuya and her are very happy together. Despite all the complications and obstacles, the two of them have come a long way. But, what is this uneasy feeling? What's more, Lyn glanced over at her reflection in the long mirror. Lately, she gets these burning sensations - the mark doesn't have to glow anymore. However, she still ends up feeling this burning pain.

Is it something she has to worry about? Who does she tell? Kazuya or Rhys? Considering Kazuya's reaction regarding that mission, Silver sent her on. Lyn knew she had to be very careful with her words from now.

First, write down the time they enter the room.

Second, write their names and their ranks…

Third, write down their request.

Fourth, pass on the message...

Lyn made a mental note of all the things Allen told her to do. She understood that all of this was necessary. She already resolved herself to take the throne, so she can't act wishy-washy about anything. Formal matters made her feel bored, but it's better knowing things than being left out of the dark. Today, she was meeting with some guests of Allen's and her eldest brother.

Lyn stifled the urge to peek over her shoulders. She knew the first of her guests were being led inside by the servants.

She wore one of the many formal kimonos Zepher tailored for her. Although Allen wanted her to wear something more western style. Lyn decided that she would wear these clothes instead.

It didn't take long before her guests arrived on the same floor as her.

Lord Zac and Lord Wayne.

Lord Zac stood rigid and self-assured. Despite him being twice her age, he looked like a handsome young youth. On the bridge of his nose, however, there was a large scar across. Lyn blinked, she already heard the story behind those wounds. But, Lyn didn't think it would look this imposing.

According to what she learned about him. Lord Zac's grandfather was a former general during her grandmother's time. After he stabilized the Kingdom and got rid of all the enemies. Grandmother bestowed a special title. People say that's the reason why Lord Zac has the position he does.

Lyn, however, knew it was only part of the reason. Lord Zac may look arrogant. However, he is the same as any other person in the Kingdom.

"We apologize for taking so long to greet you. You must be very busy with the preparations of your identity. Thank you very much for granting us some of your time." Lord Zac nodded.

These two people were one of the few who knew of her identity, since a long time ago. But Lyn seldom interacted with them. She did not need to until now, anyway.

"Don't mention it. Thank you for your hard work during the time I was away, Lord Zac. You too, Lord Wayne. I was looking forward to your visit," Lyn politely said.

Lord Wayne stepped forward. "I'm extremely pleased to hear that. I was rather worried as to when you would return; We thought you would not return considering.."

Lyn immediately understood where they came from. So, people know about Zepher and her, huh?

….

Lyn couldn't move; after that meeting, she simply remained in her chair. However, she suddenly felt a pair of lips on hers. Lyn blushed and pushed Kazuya away, "Don't appear out of nowhere."

"What out of nowhere, I was behind the curtain the entire time."

"Well, nothing happened… Sorry for troubling you," she apologized. Lyn had Kazuya wait behind the curtain just in case something happened.

"It's fine. I don't mind. You did a great job," Kazuya reached over and patted her hair. "I'm glad you listened to me."

Kazuya told her not too long ago to be careful with the people who know her identity. 'There is a spy; you have to be careful.' While Kazuya shared a lot of information with her, he was still quite vague. It made a lot of sense. A spy among the knights aside, there ought to be somebody else.

"Kazuya, where is Rhys?"

Lyn decided the best person to confide in would be him. Rhys acts that way, but when it came to serious matters - well, he was serious. Rhys even sold her out to eldest brother Zepher. That person is clearly capable of doing anything. Ever since that time, she is warier towards him. However, Lyn still trusted him a great deal. At least he won't lie in front of her.

Rhys will remain honest around her even if he says blunt and harsh things. At least he is truthful, how many people in the world tell the truth? What percentage of people in the world are genuinely honest? One can't measure it by percentage, but Lyn knew how small the number was. Rhys is genuine even if he has to hurt the one he loves with his actions.

'The one he loves..' Lyn frantically shook her head at that comment. Quit thinking about it, Rhys is very stupid after all.

Kazuya frowned, "You want to see Rhys? You have a test later right, why don't you focus on that."

"Ah-huh, I haven't met him in a while. Can't I go?"

"He's a bit busy with something," Kazuya removed his hand from her hair and caressed her cheeks. "Hey Lyn, can I kiss you?"

Kazuya's words completely caught her off guard. Uh? What's with this situation? This isn't like him at all. Ah, he must be joking, right?
