Rhys watched her sleep, watched her cling to him., it felt good. This situation felt great, he could hold her so closely without anybody telling him what to do.
He reached over and played with the strands of her black hair, and brought it close to his face. Rhys kissed the strands in his fingers.
She was gentle, she was fragile.
She was incredibly breakable - Rhys never intended to treat her like glass or like a doll. However, when he learned how reckless she could be. Rhys sighs for the fifteenth time or was it seventeen already? He doesn't know. But one thing was sure, he can no longer pretend that he doesn't know.
And yet he's going to keep insisting, that it doesn't bother him to Beth. Beth who keeps coming here nearly everyday.
If he to say it out loud to anyone, then he may insult her in front of Kazuya and that wouldn't be a good situation at all. After all he understood it to a degree despite how stubborn he is.
Lyn already belongs to someone else and that's why, the stuff he does to her has to remain between them. Because if she were ever to get caught - then he knew he would be destroying any means of love the girl could have.

At that comment Rhys sighed more, "Why on earth are you keeping count?"
"It's difficult not to when that's all you've been doing. If you really want her to admit it, stop pretending that you don't know. You've been pretending to be sleeping the entire time. But the actual reality is you've been awake."
Rhys knew he couldn't say anything to that.
He actually slept those previous other times. That was until he caught wif of the girls scent, that's what woke him up. When Lyn kisses him, she keeps her eyes closed so she doesn't notice it. All Rhys has to do is close his eyes when she opens hers, it's that simple.
