The man looked at her with his deep-set eyes. He leaned against the table in his gray Giorgio Armani suit.
“Also.” She noted how his gaze had turned sharper as he tensed up and spoke. “Bring Ping An overseas. Have you forgotten?”
She chuckled lightly. Her small face lit up like a radiant and refreshing flower, making him unable to shift his gaze away.
He leaned his body forward and hugged her waist, speaking in his low voice with a loving look. “Have you now learned to tease me?”
“I wasn’t teasing you. How would I dare to tease our CEO Ji?”
She coquettishly chuckled but avoided his gaze.
“Say it again!”
His voice was filled with kingly aura which one could not overlook as his large hands pinched her waist. As expected, Pei Ge started laughing and begging for forgiveness. “Alright, alright. I… I was wrong; I was wrong.”
He only released his grip upon hearing her surrender. With his strong arms, he then towered over her on the huge and soft bed. “Then, do you admit to teasing me?”

He took off his suit jacket with flawless movement and flung it onto the leather couch. The man then lowered his head to sniff at her neck, indulging himself in her fragrant smell. Her scent made him unable to control himself.

“I know.”
Despite knowing that, he still refused to get up. His thin lips slowly savored her smooth skin as though enjoying a delicate morsel.
“Stop it. The children are just opposite of us.”
All she could think of was Tang Xiaoyu and the surprise her father had intended to present her mother back then. She was unresponsive to his love-making request—even her body was.
Upon seeing how she refused to cooperate with him and even tried to stop him multiple times, the man became more hardworking. Alas, Pei Ge was different from her usual self.

He looked down at the woman below him. Her cheeks were as red as peaches which made him want to pinch them and her lips were so succulent that he could not keep his hands off them.

He closed his eyes slightly. Even while lying in bed, he still greedily sniffed at her neck. Her refreshing scent let him calm down and slowly regain his rationality to sort out the things that had happened to her.

She flipped her body over and leaned into his embrace. His sturdy frame gave her a great sense of security and courage to face the dangers and challenges she would likely meet in the future.

She softly mumbled before curling up in his arms like a cat. “We will not part again.”

His expression made her laugh immediately. He frowned at this. “Why? What’s funny?”

As long as the one she loved was happy, other things like surprises were merely embellishments.

The call was hurriedly hung up. She did not know that this would end up being the last phone call of her husband, and the surprise that he had mentioned would end up being so surprising. If she had a choice, she would rather not have it. She only wanted their family to live together peacefully.
