The atmosphere increase along with the soldiers perplexed expression.
"What she is talking about?" A few soldiers whispered among themselves.
The pressure too intense for Senja, she clutched her chest tightly.
What is this? Is my sense getting sharp? I could feel their every emotion. It's too tiring.
Then some word of the old woman resound inside her head.
Is this what grandma said with 'increase my sense'? huhh… its not helping at all. Why don't you give me something more powerful? Like fire a laser from my eyes, fly at the sky, teleport to another place or else, the ability to disappear? I really need it the last one now.
"Excuse me…". Senja talked in lower voice however it's enough to make all the soldiers quiet down and looked at her with anticipation. She could felt that too. She sigh before continue. "Can I have some clothes please?" She said awkwardly.
There was a pit drop silent afterwards, nobody moved, nobody gave a reaction.
"Clothes please…?". Senja repeated it again in reminder tone. She has to get rid of their emotions because it unrelated to her own. She gets annoyed with their reaction and became more furious because of the feeling of anxiousness they gave to her.
She stared to them one by one while the other party avoided her eyes.
"Give her a clothes and take her to captain Hua!". The first soldier from before gain his awareness and gave an order to a soldier behind him. Not long after that, someone brought a grey lousy robe. Senja frowned upon seeing that piece of clothes, she never wore something lousy like that but she wisely didn't utter a word.
"Quick. Wear this. It's not good to see" Said a soldier while he handed the robe to her.
Not good my ass. You are blushing now young pal! Senja grumbled in her heart. She quickly wrapped her body with it. The robe is very big, the length is almost covered her knees, when the sleeves made her hands gone. Ugh!
"Bring her to Captain Hua!"
After that order fell four soldiers unsheathed their swords then surrounded Senja to escort her.
"Wait, what is this? You don't need to draw your sword, do you?". I can't fight all of you I don't have basic martial arts anyway.
But the soldiers didn't say anything and just gestured for Senja to move. Out of option, Senja just follow. It didn't felt like they would kill her soon.
Whilst she was walking with the soldiers that escorted her, she was able to analyze her situation. This is the most crazy things came true but she still hard to accept this. She still felt like Sian would pop out from somewhere anytime and tell her if this situation she was in now just his stupid pranks like usual.
But even if this just a prank, Sian would definitely couldn't pull it trough! This is surreal, this is the real deal. Was the old lady throw her back to ancient time? How she could do that? Is she really a witch?
Senja shook her head, dizzy with that possibility.
After some short analyzed Senja realized three things. First, she is inside a fortress. She quiet sure about it.
Second, this fortress filled with anxious soldiers, seems like there was something big going on.
Third, she was for sure in another world ancient time. This was completely insane! Oh, and one more thing that she knew was, she was became more sensitive to the mood of people around her and if she couldn't controlled it, it would affect her own mood. It felt like she turned out to be a human mood detector. This revelation dawn to her just like that.
Great! Now I have a useless superpower.
